Prologue/Intro

Walking amongst the crowded streets of Musutafu a man clad in all black with a strange looking grey scarf around his neck is heading towards the store minding his own business as he rubs his ears from the loud screeching they had to endure not too long ago. As the man grumbles under his breath walking past other quirk users he hears a commotion going on to the right of him. Pausing, the man looks into the alleyway to see a group of shadows surrounding something. Sneaking his way into the alley the tired man finds a group of high schoolers bullying a smaller figure who's trying to fight back only it doesn't seem to be going well.

"What are you doing?" The man spoke his tone cold, his eyes red, hair floating his quirk preventing the group from using their own. One of the larger boys cursed under his breath as the smallest of the group stared in awe at his savior. "I asked a question you have five seconds to give me an answer before I call the cops" his glare hardened on the group as he brought one hand up to his scarf. The group took one last look at the small child before running out of the alley and back onto the crowded streets. "You ok kid?"

"So cool" the small boy whispered in response, completely ignoring his many bruises, his eyes sparkling at the man who saved him. "You're the Erasure Hero: Eraserhead!" Eraserhead was surprised by the boy's response. There weren't many people out there who actually knew who he was; he even had to pull out his Hero License to prove to the Police that he's an actual hero.

"What's your name kid?" he tried a different question this time gaining a proper answer.

"Midoriya Izuku!" He beamed, "Thanks for helping me! Although I had it handled" the boy crossed his arms trying to look strong only to give the hero a disappointed pout instead. With a sigh Eraserhead crouched to the boys level scanning his small frame for any severe injuries only to find they were all minor and would heal within a few days.

"How old are you?" he gazed into the boy's eyes, curious to see a slight change in coloring before returning to it's emerald, "What's your Quirk?" The question slipped from his mouth and a part of him slightly regretted it as the boy's head lowered and his eyes faded into a dull pine green almost black in the shaded alleyway. "You don't have to answer tha-"

"No, no it's ok!" the boy, Izuku, looked back up, "I'm 8! But I'm quirkless.." his gaze shifted, finding his red high tops far more interesting than the pro he has always wanted to meet, along with others of course. With another sigh Eraserhead rubbed his temples before standing.

"Come on kid, let me take you home. I'd rather not find your body later while I'm on patrol."

Izuku giggled as he caught up to the hero who was exiting the alleyway, "Ok! Here let me lead you!" he grabbed the man's hand giggling as he led the way to his apartment building. Eraserhead felt as though something was off as they walked up to a door that was thrust open by a slim woman with hair that matched the boys.

"Izuku! Where have you been!? I was so worried!" The woman quickly swept the giggling boy into her arms making sure to stay within the doorway but that didn't stop him from catching a glimpse of what looked to be a kitchen knife floating in the air just behind her. Having seen the weapon Eraserhead remained cautious of the woman as she turned to him. "I'm so sorry I hope my baby didn't cause you too much trouble! Do you know what happened? Thank you so much for bringing him home!" Shaking it off Eraserhead left the two with a tired wave however instead of heading home he ventured to the police department.

"Tsukauchi, can we talk? Privately" Eraserhead inquired the image of the mother son duo heavily weighing on his mind.

"Of course," waving the man over to his office he shut the door, "What did you need? I have a few cases I need to take care of."

"This won't take long, I was just wondering if you could tell me anything about a boy named Midoryia Izuku." The detective's gaze grew serious as he stared at the hero searching for any indication as to why he'd ask such a question.

"I know him, why do you ask? Did something happen?"

"Nothing, what do you know about his mother?" Eraserhead grew more curious seeing the clear recognition and understanding on the detective's face as he sat behind his desk and unlocked one of the draws and pulled out a black metal box, "What is that?"

"You should know, their household is flagged, not many people know this though and for good reason." the detective put in a code and the box opened revealing a few files, "They have a bit of a.. Dark history. Only a select number of you Underground Heroes, The Principal, along with a few trusted government officials and a single Court Judge along with myself are allowed to see these."

"What do you mean 'dark history' ? What aren't you telling me?" Eraserhead glared while Tsukauchi simply turned the box so that he could see its contents.

"Some things are better left unsaid." The hero opened the first file, sending a cautious look at the man only to drop it back inside and leave.
