Empty archer girl

              "Life is hollow. Never clear...", says a shadow that sounds and looks like a girl. Her hair billows out behind her.

"What do you mean? Who are you.", I worriedly ask, clutching the walls of the cave. Tiny diamonds dazzle my eyes in the dark. Or are they stars?

"Don't worry. I am a friend. You must remember my words, young archer. Hard times are coming, and you must save those you love."

"What are you-", I slip as the shadow moves away and drop into a never ending void. Colors swirl around me. Then a face of a girl with white hair shows in front of me.

"Time to wake up."

I screamed, clawing at the sheets. The my eyes opened, and I saw the dark ceiling above me. My curtains were drawn, and only a few rays of light peeped out into the room. I sat up as i heard the pounding of footsteps, and the slam of my door as my mother walked in, her brown hair in curlers. (Yes, she's pretty old-fashioned.)

"What's wrong?!"

"Nothing, Mom. I was just having a dream."

"Oh, good. I thought something bad had happened."

"Nope." After an awkward moment of silence, my mom says,

"Well, then. I'll go make some breakfast since you're up. Why don't you take a shower real quick? Today is your first day of track."

"'Kay, Mom."

~~~~
The smell of greasy bacon and pancakes, with a side of scrambled eggs for my mom and a sunny-side-up egg for me. I shook my hair, my pony-tail flinging in my face, spraying droplets of sweet-smelling water on my eyelashes.
Hey guys! So I just wanted to write this down before I forgot this chapter. It's not done, so don't think it's bad. I just need some ideas/suggestions. Please help me! Thank you so much. Will continue later.
