Sky took a deep breath. "You can do this... You've read plenty..."

Many weeks had passes. Some more 'snake' accidents have happened, but she was still okay. And as long as she had supervision in Hogwarts, she would be okay.

Her cover-up story was that she was hit with a curse at birth. Not the best, but what else could she say? That a rebellious Death Eater tried to kill her?

And now, the moment had come. She was getting her wand.

Another Hogwarts student with long, bushy brown hair came skipping out of the room where she got her wand, smiling. Her parents were dressed like Muggles, following behind her.

The girl smiled at Sky, and she waved back. Sky took a deep breath and entered with her grandfather, he legs shaking.

This moment was important. What id she messed up and got a wand that wouldn't obey her? Or a faulty one?

Aldan patted her shoulder. "Don't worry dear. It's not as bad as you think."

She nodded, but her emotion didn't change.

Ollivander came out from a room in the back, a little crazy looking but kept smiling at Sky. "Good morning!" He said to her.

Sky just nodded.

Ollivander chuckled. "Nervous, I see. Let's just take your arm measurements." He spoke as he rummaged through a box, and then flicked his wand. A roll of measuring tape flew over towards her, and measured her on its own.

"Hmm... Interesting." He said as he stood up and studied her. He took a nearby box off a shelf, taking the lid off. "Try this one: 12 inches, phoenix core, cedar."

Sky picked up, but then he snatched it. "Absolutely not, that'll burn the building down."

Sky shuddered, moving back a bit.

He took another, muttering "8 inches, dragon heart string, cocoa."

Sky picked this one up gently, then gave it a little wave.

Sky was pushed back quickly by an invisible force, and into the wall.

"Oh, no!" Ollivander yelled, and Aldan came rushing over. He took the wand from her. "Are you okay?" He asked.

Sky nodded, staring at the ground. It was useless, she's never find a good one. But it wouldn't stop her from trying some more times.

Ten more wands followed. Still, no positive results.

Ollivander shook his head. "A very difficult customer, you are. No matter. Try... this one. 13 inches, phoenix core, willow."

When Sky picked this one up, it started glowing. Very brightly. Sky could barely see, but it didn't matter. She found a wand that was great for her- a wand that chose her!

She shrieked in joy, jumping up and down. "Yes! Finally!"

The rest of the Diagon Alley trip was pretty uneventful. It was spent getting Sky the rest of her supplies, like her books and robes. Then, she saw Eeylops Owl Emporium, and she smiled. Aldan told her he's get her an owl.

In the end, she chose a Barn Owl named Silvie. Most Barn Owl's were medium sized, white and brown, however Silvie was white and grey and very small for her species.

This didn't bother Sky, in fact it made her more proud.

This day was turning out to be amazing, and she couldn't wait to go to magic school.
