Chapter 9

"Flowey, it's getting late and I'm starting to feel tired again. Is there any place that I could spend the night in and or eat?"-I asked.

"Well, there Snowdin. You could do both of those thing there I guess, but you'll need money for that."-he said.

"Then let's go. I'll think of something there."

While walking through the forest I was getting more tired and hungry. I decided to stay off the original path, since Flowey told me that there are many dangerous puzzles and besides, Sans and Papyrus are patrolling there.

The storm started. It was snowing like crazy. The wind was hurting me. Even my warm clothes were nothing to this weather. I could feel Flowey trembling on my shoulder. I finally decided to take the path since nobody is going to be here at this time.

While walking, I found an area filled with snow puffs. I had some kind of weird feeling that I should check them.

"Frisk! What are you doing?!"-Flowey was yelling at me.

At the last puff I found 60G. That's incredible! I started walking faster and faster until I saw lights in the distance.

"There! It's Snowdin!"-said Flowey and I ran towards it.

It didn't look like the storm was happening there. Monsters were walking around, looking suspiciously at me. I hurried into the first building I saw. It was a shop. There was a bunny behind the counter she looked very punkish. I tried to buy a cinnamon bun from her, but she just yelled at me and started swinging with a knife. I ran out of there as fast as I could.

"Flowey? What should I do?"-I asked him.

"Hm, try putting your hair so it would cover as much face as possible. We can walk in this Inn and I'll try to get a room for us."-he said.

"Sounds like a good idea."-I replied.

We did just that. Of course, one night caused us 50G, but at least we have a place to rest in.

The room was okay. There was a twin-size bed and a bathroom. I used it and when I got out of, I already found Flowey sleeping in one of the Flower pots. Hu must've felt very tired, because it was a while that he had any sleep.

I felt very hungry. I was trying to sleep, but I couldn't help the pain. Then I suddenly remembered the two spider-donuts that I bought in the Ruins. I decided to eat one. It was surprisingly delicious! And it made my stomach full. I decided to go to sleep and take a nap. It was a long day.

"i know this must be hard for you, but you need to do this. everybody believes in you! mettaton believes! alphys believes! toriel and asgore believe! undyne believes! papyrus believes! everyone believes! you have to set everything back the way it was! remember frisk, i believe you and i know you can make us happy again. you can make me happy again. just believe!"

I woke up feeling amazing. I couldn't remember what I was dreaming, but it made me feel.... happy! And then my tummy started aching a little. I walked up to Flowey.

"Hey Flowey? Pst, Floweeeyyy! Wakey, wakey!"-I said to him.

He slowly opened his eyes.

"Hey Frisk. I see you're in a good mood."-he said with a sleepy voice.

"Yeah, do you know a place where we could eat our breakfast?"-I asked.

"Well, there's Grillby's nearby I think."-he said.

I dressed up and was ready to go. In  the daylight, the town looked almost normal. I know that about this time, we would celebrate Christmas. I wonder do they have it?

"Flowey, do you celebrate Christmas?"-I asked him.

His face got sad.

"We did in the past, but we haven't in a few years now. Instead of Christmas, we now do The Hunt, where monsters are hunting others monsters and blood spills everywhere. It's happening sometime quick, so we'll have to find a safe spot."-he said.

We pasaed a sad looking Christmas tree that's obviously hasn't had any festivity on it in a few decades. It looked depressing.

"Where do you normally hide?"-I asked.

"The place where you fell. Nobody visits it, so it's safe all the time, but we can't go to it. We'll have to find somewhere safe in the waterfall probably."-he said and shrugged his shoulders. "Anyway, we're here."

We stood in front of a bar. I walked in. It was full of weird monsters: dogs in different breeds and sizes, bunnies, plants. They all looked deadly. As soon as I stepped inside everyones gaze went on me. I immediately covered my face with my sweater and my hair. It helped a little.

I walked to the bar where stood the Grillby himself, as Flowey told me. He was a flames monster. He worked as a bartender here.

Because it was way too risky, Flowey ordered me a hamburger and to himself some water. Grillby took the order and brought our food pretty quickly. Although, the food it self didn't really swallowed quickly. It was mushy, weird, it kept tangling in my mouth and didn't taste good. I still kept eating cause I had no other choice.

As I was eating, I heard the dog monsters talking:

"Did you heard? The boss said that a human fell down here."-said one.

"Hm? Really? That's interesting. Maybe he'll catch them before that Undyne does."-wander the other.

It was a male and a female. Do they work for Papyrus? And he already told them I'm here? Shoot.

"Yeah, I hope so. He's been very angry since Undyne started killing humans. He thought that they belonged to him."-said the Male.

"I agree. Wait, what time is it?"-the Female asked.

"It's 12 a. m. The boss should be here any minute. The Lesser is late again. He'll be beaten badly. Stupid dog."-said the Male.

I dropped my sandwich. Dammit, we need to leave right now. I grabbed Flowey as he shouted "Hey!" from confusion and I was about to run out of there, but I heard two similar voices. The cold and harsh one and the manner and attractive one. I sat back down and buried my face in my sweater as I heard the two of them come in. Shoot, now I'm dead.
