Chapter 18
Chapter 18
He smiled even more (if that's even possible) when he noticed me. I backed up to the door. I grabbed the handle and tried to get out, but it was locked. I quickly scanned around the room and my only way out was trough the window I broke. And of course Napstablook had to be blocking it. Just perfect.
I quickly jumped to the right when he threw his lighting at me. Then he did it again and this time when I jumped bumped into a table and fell down. It hurt my ribs, but I had no time for that. I dashed under the table and barely avoided his deadly tears. I accidentally shrieked when all the stuff from the table fell down and broke into pieces.
When I crawled to the other side of the table, Napstablook wasn't blocking the window anymore. This was my chance. I rolled from beneath the table, jumped on my feet and started running as fast as I could. But it wasn't fast enough.
He let out a scream that paralyzed me in place. My whole body fell to the ground hardly hitting it. I let out a scream myself. My ears were hurting so bad, I was afraid that they were bleeding. Then he flew near me and hovered above my head. I wanted to curl into a ball and just disappear from this world, but I couldn't. I even tried to call out my Soul. Nothing happened.
I called for help. Nothing. I called again. Nothing. I screamed desperately. But nobody came.
Then suddenly, green roots emerged from the ground tearing apart Napstablooks floor. They rise up into the air and created a little cage around me. I got scared and tried to struggle, but I couldn't. Then I recognized the roots.
Suddenly, a rain of big, sharp bones came down from above destroyed the ceiling and everything that was left in the house. I wanted to shield myself, but again, I wasn't able to move. But I didn't felt a thing. The roots made a thick net that was able to protect me.
I looked over at Napstablook and saw that he was confused. He didn't know what to do and has already forgotten about me. His mind was setting on the person that destroyed his house.
Suddenly something stabbed me in the back, but I didn't felt any pain. Actually, quite the opposite. I could feel my arms and legs again and I stood up. Then Flowey popped out of the ground.
"Flowey!"-I said excited. "You don't know how relieved I am to see you!"
"Yeah, yeah, you can save that for later, but right now we need to go. If we won't that we'll have to witness the hell itself opening in here."-he said and and wrapped his roots around my arm.
I don't understand what he meant by that, but I just nodded and started looking around. And I just when I was about to ask for help, a hole opened up in one of the walls. That was our exit. I ran towards and noticed that another round of bones is about go down. Napstablook was still searching with his eyes for the one who created all this chaos. He didn't even noticed that we were gone.
I ran from the house until I was far enough to get in trouble, but close enough to observe everything. With a blink of an eye, the small bones in the sky became giant and were burning with blue fire. They appeared from every direction and had only one purpose. To destroy the crap out of Napstablook.
As the bones reached the house, everything exploded and lit up in red flames. Flames that reached the hight of what once was the house.
"Flowey? What's happening here?"-I was mildly confused. I do believe that these bones are created by Sans, but can it really be him?
"I might be responsible for this."-Flowey said in a little guilty voice. His face was smirking and his leaves were tapping each other like human fingers would. I raised my left eyebrow at him. And he went all defensive. "Well, it's your fault too! You went out and left me with him alone! Of course when he woke up he immediately wanted to know where you are and I had to tell him! And as you can guess he wasn't happy to hear that I let you leave alone! And besides where have you been?! I was sick worried about you!"
I started laughing. I genuinely started laughing. And I couldn't stop. Flowey was getting concerned about me.
"Uhh... Frisk? Are you okay?"
Then I pulled tightly in a hug.
"Oh how I missed you Flowey!"
"Okay, okay I missed you too! Now can you stop? I don't feel comfortable!"-he said sounding like a tsundere.
"So what you were saying a-"-I started asking, but an explosion interrupted me. I looked at direction it cane from and stared in ave.
It was Napstablook and Sans, fighting each other in the air since the ground was a burning mess.
"You didn't lie about the hell thingy."-I said surprised.
The two figures attacked each other in the air leaving a red path behind them. None if them were really able to hurt each other. Sans couldn't hit Napstablook since he was a ghost and Napstablook couldn't hit Sans since he was teleporting every second.
Then suddenly Sans created a bunch of small and weird shaped ghost skulls that were floating in the air and they all went around Napstablook, not hurting him, but distracting. Then Sans vanished and appeared in front of us.
"we need to go, we don't have much time till he realizes that those are fake. flowey, you're ready?"-he quickly asked. Flowey nod to him and wrapped one of his roots around him, while still holding tight onto me. It's like they didn't even noticed that I was here. Not gonna lie, I felt a little jealous. Even though I don't know where that came from. I never feel jealous.
We started teleporting and the last second before we fade, Sans finally looks at me and then everything goes blank. But that look was different then all others. They showed some sort of feeling. Not anger. Not disappointment. Not even a smirk that he usually had. It was something different, something new and something I somehow wanted to see again.
I couldn't even blink once before we stopped. Again, my head was spinning a little, but it wasn't as bad as last time. I looked around and was disappointed to not see the nice view of our cave. This was a new place for me. It was a tunnel with words on walls. There was a river that had lilly pads and water sausages in it. And the ceiling, with rocks that shined like stars, was much closer then before. If not the trash in the water and monster dust in some places, I would call it fascinating.
Then, out of nowhere, I collapsed on the ground. The feelings of nausea, hunger and tiredness all get to me at once. I was starting to fade away and I could faintly hear voices in the background saying my name. The last thing I saw were concerned white pupils, outlined with very light blue colors.
