As soon as he arrived home, Mew through his bag away, took a quick shower and sat by his laptop checking his email first before getting to his favorite site checking all comments about his new online story, reading the comments made him smile a bit and also helped him get new ideas, without wasting more time, he starting writing the new chapter.

Mew Suppasit is already a 30 years old bachelor, he owns a couple of an apartment complex that his father passed to him since he was 20 years and left to go on a world trip with his wife so Mew is taking care of all the apartments, condos and everything concerning the buildings from cleaning to security and getting the rents.

Yet that didn't stop him from finishing his studies and became a professional translator mastering three foreign language aside from Thai and English and he used his free time to work online as a stories and articles translator, with time he also became a writer himself and have so many fans following him.

He has a very normal life, his parents would visit him from time to time and always spend official holidays with him such as Christmas and New Year's Day, he also has an older sister who got married 7 years ago and left to live with her husband in Paris, she would visit once or twice a year.

As a landlord, everyone sees Mew as a serious unfriendly man but he is actually a nice and amiable person, he has a two good friends he met during high school, Tad and Aran, they stayed close after so many years and would meet up once in a while, sharing their stories and new things that happened to them, this is what started to bother Mew in the past 2 years.

Since he was 20 years he got the responsibility to take care of the buildings and it took so much of his time, he began translating as another side job and writing as a hobby yet he has been doing the same things over and over again for almost 10 years that it became a stressful routine for him, it's true that meeting his friends and having his family over was a good change at first however even that started to feel as a part of a routine and he was getting fed up with his current life.

"get a lover" was what his friends said when he told them about his stress

"it's not that simple to get one, I also want to have a serious relationship this time not playing around like you too"

"that's not true, I'm really serious about Dara" Tad said glaring to Mew

"let's be honest Tad, we played around a few times before" Aran stated honestly

"I can't deny that but not this time, I promise, I'm really serious about my girlfriend"

"that's a bit surprising, well I can't wait to find the right girl for me that will make me go serious too" Mew giggled watching them

"maybe my life will also change if I actually get a lover" Mew thought although a part of him wasn't so sure about this, he did date before but nothing changed and quickly broke up, he was aware how he did hurt his last lover which is why he is set on being serious next time thus it's so hard to find the right one especially with how he is feeling lately

Mew tried to change his routine a little like going on a trip, he even stopped writing for a while trying some other hobbies but everything felt the same, there was nothing exciting about his life, working, doing side work, some hobby and that's it nothing new to make him happier

"I really want something to make feel more alive" he murmured starring at his laptop screen after sending the last email of the day containing the translated article.

His friends who felt how depressed he was tried inviting him to some parties and introducing him to other people, they even arranged for a trip together but it didn't work, they only could see a dead emotionless smile on his face

"I'm really thankful for both of you but I just can't feel excited or livelier, thank you for everything you did, I will try to find something so don't worry about me"

"I'm sure someone or something will appear sooner or later in you life so be patient my friend and if you need anything we will always be here for you" Aran said

"Aran is right, make sure to call us anytime Mew" Mew was really grateful to his friends and wanted to hurry and change his life to be able to enjoy everything with them, of course Mew decided to hide this from his family and not bother them during their trip and was determined to solve his problem alone.

However, no matter what he did, went, or tried he just couldn't bring himself to sincerely smile or enjoy himself, he even stopped being surprised at everything, he looked like some cold hearted emotionless person for those who sees him yet Mew was actually feeling dead inside, he stood by the balcony watching the night sky

"will I be like this for the rest of my life?" he asked himself sighing even the starry night sky didn't look beautiful to him at all, just when he was to go back inside smth caught his attention, it was a shooting star like nothing he saw before, it was falling down slowly as if it was waiting for him to make his wish, Mew watched a passing group of girls getting excited and making their wishes

"I will lose nothing" he stood watching the tiny shiny falling star

"I wish that my life change and become brighter, even a little is fine" he said with a bored tone as the star slowly disappeared in the horizon.

Leading a different yet similar life is Gulf Kanawut, right after going back home, he take a bath, eat some boxed food he bought on his way back and go to sleep after checking the latest news on his phone.

Gulf is 27 years, have an average life, he is renting a small apt in a not so good neighborhood since the rent there was cheap, working as a web developer for a small company every day except Sundays, he started working right after graduation almost 5 years ago although he has been doing part-time jobs since high school.

Actually he used to have a great life, he was the only child enjoying his life with his parents who treated him so preciously and then when he was in high school, his mother got pregnant and he got so happy to have a sibling yet he noticed that his parents started to ignore him and treat him less kind than before and when his brother was born his parents confessed that Gulf wasn't their real son

He discovered that he was adopted when he was a baby because at that time his mother was unable to get pregnant and now they have their own son they don't want him anymore, they gave him some money and told him to leave the house and even removed him from the family register and cut all ties with him

Of course it was a huge shock for Gulf to be treated like that after living with them for about 17 years but he actually knew he was adopted when he started middle school, he accidently found the adoption papers in his parents room but he never imagined that they will easily kick him out like this yet a part of him saw it coming too since they started behaving differently when his mother got pregnant

However, he didn't let something like that affect his life, he worked and continued his studies being the top to get scholarship, he was determined to work hard to get a better life and create his own family in the future, yet because he had to concentrate on his studies and part-time, he didn't have the chance to make friends or be close to anyone, he didn't have time to be part of any club or party or anything

As soon as he graduated he started working at the same company where he did his internship, although the salary wasn't high enough and he couldn't rent a better place but he decided to continue his job there until he finds another job which was hard since most of good companies always make some requirement that isn't a part of Gulf resume or the places is taken by those who have connection.

Living in a very small apt, bad neighborhood, no friends, no family, not enough salary, all this started to have a bad effect of Gulf's life as his determination began to fade away, he felt so locked in a less than average life, barely going through the month until his next pay, the stress from overwork and doing many over hours work exhausted him both mentally and physically, not having healthy food made it even worst

He actually tried to get close to his coworkers and start having friends but he discovered that it wasn't that easy like in his school days, slowly he felt his life going grey and there is nothing exciting or to make him even a tiny bit happy, his smile already went missing years ago and he felt like giving up, the routine was killing him, waking up going to work, going back and sleep that what he do every day

He felt depressed all the time and everyone were avoiding him and calling him names at work, his landlord wasn't kind, his health was deteriorating from the lack of healthy real food and sadness and stress were eating him from the inside, his resolve died at this point and he didn't care about anything else

One night he missed the last train so he went to a close park and sat watching the night sky, he was feeling drained, hungry with a dead look in his eyes, the place was empty since it was almost midnight and he didn't have any money for a cap

"this is not the life I imagined before" he murmured as his stomach growled and his eyes lids were getting heavier getting sleepy, suddenly he noticed a little shiny thing in the sky going down, he focused rubbing his eyes

"is that a shooting star? A plane?" he was confused since the object was moving down slowly in the night sky

"I worked so hard and my wish to have a good life didn't come true, can this tiny thing make my wish come true? Well I just wish that my life change and become brighter, even a little is fine" he said with a low tired sleepy voice, before he noticed the star disappeared and he fell asleep right there on the park bench

Both Mew and Gulf made the same wish not realising that the shooting star was a special one that will change their lives forever.

The younger slowly woke up feeling pleasant and warm, some lights was hitting his face as he slowly opened his eyes

"so cozy" he murmured turning on his other side covering himself and getting more comfy, suddenly he sat up staring at the room around him

"where am I?" he yelled noticing the big room he was in and the comfortable pajamas he was wearing, everything in the room looked so expensive and he could tell it wasn't a hotel room, he also clearly remember that he fell asleep in park, he jumped opening the curtains and going out to the balcony to be shocked by the view he saw

"just what happened to me yesterday?" he asked himself not believing what he was seeing...

It's a new idea I got just a few days ago and kept preparing it, it may get a bit confusing at times so make sure to ask me anything you want
