Meeting the keeper of knowledge and the creator of mortality
Natsu's P. O. V
All the girl did was laugh at me before responding, "the healer of the sky does not make answers but questions instead. If you wish to go places you must visit the keeper of knowledge, but beware, her mind is not what it used to be."
What. The. Actual. Heck.
Keeper of knowledge, what does that mean? Wait, I am being to judgemental again. I just need to calm down and talk to her and this keeper of knowledge like a rational, and sane human being. Because I am a rational and sane human being, I'm just, confused right now. I'll get everything sorted out and then I'll be able to go home.
I mean I'll also have a story to tell, won't I? "You're confused, and I understand of course, this place can be pretty confusing at first, but don't worry, we'll all figure something out, together." The girl said before disappearing. "Where did she go" he wondered aloud.
I started walking forwards, looking around at all the new sights. As I looked at the multicoloured sky I accidentally bumped into something. "Ow" I said as he looked up at what he had walked into. It was a building, a humongous building!
Two large oak doors opened on their own as I walked inside. "Tik, tik, tok. Tik, tik, tok." Someone kept on repeating. "Huh" I asked as I looked around, finally I found out who had kept on saying that. It was a girl! She had short blue hair, was very petite, had a small chest and had these light brown eyes.
"Excuse me" I shouted as she looked down finally noticing me, "who are you?" I asked. "Her name is Levy McGarden, but everyone calls her the keeper of knowledge, well almost everyone." Someone responded.
A very tall man with long black hair, piercings everywhere and a large scowl on his face stared back at me. "And who are you" I asked, my voice slightly faltering. "I'm Gajeel Redfox, otherwise known as the creator of mortality. And what do you want with my wife?" He asked.
"Huh" I responded. "She's my wife" he said as he pointed at Levy. So they were married, and judging by the way he looked at her it was true. You could tell he loved her. "Well the reason I'm here is because a girl who called herself the healer of the sky told me to come find the keeper of knowledge." It wasn't until after I had said it that I realized how crazy it sounded. But Gajeel didn't think it sounded crazy, he thought it was normal for this to happen.
"You must be new here" Gajeel said. "Well duh" I said. "She should know what to do with him Gajeel" a small voice piped up. Both of us turned to look at Levy who had jumped down from her little perch on the highest branch of a gigantic tree. "Are you sure Levy"he asked as he pulled her in for a hug.
"I'm sure Gajeel" she said as she snuggled into his side. I most definitely am the third wheel here. Awkward!
She looked at me with eyes full of excitement, happiness and kindness. But also eyes filled with sadness, loneliness and resentment. Suddenly she doubled over, letting out a cry of pain as she did. Finally she relaxed, "tik, tik, tok. Tik, tik, tok." She kept on repeating as she walked back to her tree and began climbing it. Gajeel just watched her with helpless eyes as she fell back into the clutches of insanity.
"Just follow the yellow brick road and you'll find her" Gajeel said sadly. "Wizard of Oz, really"I joked trying to cheer him up. It didn't work. "Also who is this person you're talking about" I asked. "The lady of fate" he responded, not even looking me in the eyes. I looked around for a long time until I found the yellow brick road. It was an exact replica of the one in The wizard of Oz, maybe even the real deal.
Now all I need is a small, furry companion, a scarecrow, a lion and a tin man. Oh yeah, and some flying monkeys, a wicked witch of the west and a good witch. "Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas any more" I said with a grin. "Now what in the heavens are you talking about. You're talking to a Toto, yet I don't see anyone by the name of Toto around here. Unless your name is Toto but I find that chance highly unlikely. Or maybe I just need another beer. Yep, I need another beer. Bring me a barrel" someone shouted.
I looked around before finding the owner of the voice I had just heard. It was another girl. This now with brown hair, brown eyes and who was wearing very inappropriate clothes. A bikini top and a pair of jeans are not the best things to wear outside.
"So who are you?"
