Arthit, for a moment is too shocked to react, but suddenly he feels a pain in his nape where his mark lies, the dark crescent moon shaped mark Kong tried to explain to him as a tattoo he got when he got drunk it seems,. what bullshit story he made up to feed him so he doesn't understand about mate or bond and only think himself as a lowly orphaned wolf as part of the pathetic business deal.

Kong really is too arrogant for his own good, never really understanding it's too farfetched to be believable or why is Arthit so calm discovering suddenly he is a wolf inside and not merely a human.

Arthit believed Kong didn't really think anything through, just went on with his own egocentricity and busy fighting with Prajan about mate bond . Or he would have realised Arthit's words and actions don't match most of the time, he doesn't remember but he heals himself, he even spoke about Kong's wolf! Kong must have assumed it to be Prathit explaining to him, not really giving it any in-depth thought.

Arthit had laughed and cried when Kong fed him that story after their first night, hypnotising him to believe that they had sex after getting drunk together and then Arthit got this tattoo! And the wolf in him? He is a basically now a werewolf who turned due to Kong's bite and can again turn when full moon! Bull shit! Arthit is not even a werewolf, neither is Kong!

What elaborate lies to cover up a simple fact that he is his destined mate! Nothing adds up in Kong's story, nothing! And he took Arthit as too far below his level to even come up with some justifiable or believable tale !

Arthit's hate for kong thus have grown exponentially everyday. Surprisingly, he and Kong share one emotion strongly . The loathe for this mate bond! Because, Inspite of his hate for his mate , and not finding any trait likeable in Kong except the handsome face and the tanned gorgeous muscular body, he still feels his heart fluttering whenever kong touches him, or kisses him or looks at him with lust and pure bodily want . All thanks to this four clovered leaves on his chest and crescent moon on his nape.

Like take for example right now , the stupid bond immediately makes him alert and search frantically for kong, sensing he is in danger though that mate of his, had blatantly ignored him and let that ex bitch kiss him on his cheeks .

As the hall steeps into darkness and chaos echoes all around Arthit discovers another power , he doesn't need to change in his wolf form to see in the dark. He discovers, Kong is missing beside him but more alarmingly why are the wolf  guards not attacking the rogue wolves and just escorting the human form of the guests out, who are all either too inebriated or too panicked to change into their wolf forms.

Who are rogue and who are the guards? What is going on? And why he can only see Mr and Mrs Sutthilak surrounded by some wolves about to attack them. Arthit shoves off a wolf who had come to escort him out too, saying something on the lines that everyone is getting attacked, which is a lie! Nobody is getting attacked except his in-laws and he runs towards them, ignoring the burn on his mark.

Kong, he hopes can hold himself up for some more time . Arthit is starting to understand what is happening. It's a giant sham, this rogue wolf attack!!

His mate and his parents are the one betrayed and in real danger. The absence of the uncle, aunt , cousin and that Antoinette from the scene, also is a potent clue. Not wasting more time in dwelling on his next course of action he jumps in front of the wolf about to attack krekhai Sutthilak.

The claw teers Arthit's skin of arm apart but he feels no pain only rage. His in laws look on astonished as Arthit ruthlessly wounds the seven wolves surrounding and attacking him and his in-laws. He doesn't even change to his wolf form to fight them!

Krekhai Sutthilak helps as much as he can in his human form but it's not much. He strongly suspects something in their drink that have made them unable to change to wolf form and defend themselves!

Arthit stands tall after the merciless fight, he is wounded severely but he has no time to ponder on his injuries as he can feel the mark burn again, this time more stronger.

Kong is getting weaker! He runs not bothering to hear the word of thanks or gratitude or guilt from his In-laws. He follows his mate pull, guiding him to where Kong is, fighting several more guards on his way and he arrives at a river bank at the back of the mansion..

what he sees makes his inner wolf growl ferociously.

The four humans are laughing at Kong , who is bleeding , wounded , tied in wolf binding iron shackles and now the girl starts to tie a big rock to Kong's leg , ready to drown him!

Arthit observes hidden behind the wall , trying to gain a little strength and catch his breath back after fighting with seven wolves then endless guards to reach this place..

" You love this river and the river bank right my dear cousin?  So it will be amazingly befitting that you find your end here . Everybody will blame the poor rogue hybrids for your kidnapping and me and my father will surely organize a big search party for you.
And then when you will not be found for months, I will be the new leader of the business world and the clan together."

"Kong," this time Antoinette speaks while finishing tying the rock to Kong's feet ,

"he-can't give you an easy death since you took my virginity and he could just watch . You remember how he and his family just had to give in to your arrogant ass whims every time, so consider this as payback, your death by drowning and me tying the last knot"

Antoinette stands up after tying the huge rock securely to Kong's leg, who is observing everything but is not able to move, since his feet hands are all tied and he is being weakend by the poison in the earlier wine and then beaten black and blue by them.

But suddenly he senses Arthit somewhere close by! And he gets agitated! What is Arthit doing here ? He should just run away and save himself! These vile people have forgotten about his mate and they should not touch him! Kong eyes start frantically searching here and there!

" hmm, whom are you searching for Kong, your parents? They are dead, or that lowly mate? Don't worry, he will not be dead soon, I have better plans for him.

I was thinking, I may keep him as a slave . He is good looking , even can be used in escort services of those alphas and humans wanting night entertainment, to sign the business world deals, what say?"

" don't you dare to touch him! Let him go Greg. He is innocent. He will not bother anyone and go on with his life. He will never ask questions about me or raise any red flags . Just let him go, he deserves freedom."

Kong voice is getting slurry but he speaks out his heart. He truly believes what he is speaking , Arthit doesn't deserve to be tied down by his family or his fate.

" but there is no fun in that! You should die knowing your mate will become our sex slave !"

"Greg ! Don't you dare to touch him!"

Kong struggles against the  binds of iron shackles with his last strength!

" you talk too much kong. Antoinette come on baby help me dump him in his favourite river, then we will get that lowly wolf you wanted as a pet . Ok babe ?"

Arthit gives reign to Prathit, this time and the white wolf like a snow storm hits the four, before they understand what is happening they are subjugated by his aura and down on their knees! But prathit knows he doesn't have much time, he can only hope Sutthilak's have been able to call on their own loyal guards and help is coming, because the four are all big wolves, and in his wounded and weakened state he can only fight and hold them for sometime .

He growls and growls , his eyes shining bright , a pearly white energy radiating off him making the four not able to move, like they are bound by invisible iron shackles, as he starts to free Kong, biting off his iron shackles and the thick rope tied to his leg! His mouth is bleeding but he doesn't stop until his mate is freed. Kong is too shocked to even utter a word of protest .

" can you stand ." Prathit mindlinks to Prajan shocking him more ,

" no, I guess the wine was poisoned, I can't turn and my strength has weakened considerably. Leave Prathit, why did you come?"

" because you are my mate that's why, what else ? Isn't it funny how we both hate the word mate and this fated thing? My brain says it's good you learnt your lesson, trusting that bitch but my heart says to kill each one of them who harmed you and made you bleed like this! What contrasting difference of my feelings right?"

" why didn't you tell me you remember everything , that you knew we were not werewolves or your own powers Prathit?"

Kong needs answers and prajan too , for the first time he wants to listen to all his mates grievances, he wants Prathit to speak.

" why should I tell you! What have you done to even deserve to know anything? I can sense  some wolves coming I hope they are your loyal guards and not theirs . I don't know if I can hold them much longer, they are fighting my powers with their combined four ! Arghhhhh"

Prathit groans as he finds Antoinette free of bond and turn into her grey wolf form approaching him. His pearly light becomes stronger as he binds the other three more strongly so that they cannot escape or help her , let's fight one to one bitch!

Prathit pov

" so my pet has sharp teeth and powers too, how interesting."

" don't call him your pet and don't you dare to hurt him." Kong mumbles somehow..

" shut up"

we both growl together at Kong, in any other situation it would have been funny but this is blood for blood, and we both lunge in the air simultaneously, both aiming for each the other's throat!

I catch the neck vein while she misses mine, I can feel her mate howling and my mate's  worried aura as I sink my teeth but I only push my fangs in only so much that she succumbs to oblivion and not to death. I hate killing , even the wolves I massacred and wounded severely will recover , I am not a killing machine like my cruel mate!

But while even loosing consciousness the bitch sinks her pointed canines on my right leg at the last moment, making me howl in pain and I deepen my bite . She is limp in no time but my leg is bleeding profusely. I limp to my mate again, wait is he crying ? Oho, he is still crying over her ! Wow just wow! I can see the guards now, they will reach in five minutes and Krekhai Sutthilak is leading them.

So they are Kong's loyalists. I free my bind on the other pathetic three, and the cousin immediately crawls to his mate, while the uncle and the aunt hug each other, not daring to fight me .

Greg tears fall freely and hugging the limp Antoinette to his bosom and he cries his heart out . I watch the scene , ignoring my own mate sobbing profusely . A sharp pang in my heart tells me the reality. I can never have what that bitch has . She won ultimately.

My mate still loves her, still cries for her . I sigh as I know my decision now , atleast that has become crystal clear in my mind through this ordeal..

" Prathit where are you going, Prathit wait you're injured, help is coming..praaathit."

Prajan screams in my mind , but I close it , even kong starts to say something amidst his waterfalls of tears but I am in no mood to hear his thanks or some shitty sorry or empty promises of some far fetched dream from Prajan for Arthit. He deserves better .. I deserve better ..

I start to run , run away from everything.. my home is awaiting me .. I did my bit for my mate because he is the one that gave me my shape shifter powers back.. I paid him back with my blood .

Now I am free .. free to runaway from everything, everything that is Kong and the hated fated mate bond !

A/n:: I wanted to explain some things regarding kong and Arthit in the beginning like how much kong knew about Arthit , how much Arthit hid form kong. He kind of subconsciously always wanted kong to know more, atleast try to know more . That's what I always aimed in my writing .

Shapeshifter and werewolf difference will be explained in the next chap and also why Arthit has this powers .
