"You almost kissed Daniel!" Alice and Lilac exclaimed in unison. We just gotten our lunch from the cafeteria and we were heading to our usual eating spot under the big oak tree by the field outside of the cafeteria.

"Yea I did. Now can you not shout it out for the whole word to hear" I shushed them. They just smiled and stared at me as I ate my peanut butter sandwich. I slowly put the sandwich down and stared back at them scrunching up my face, "Why are you guys staring at me like that".

"Oh nothing" Lilac said casually still smiling.

"Just wondering who your gunna chose," Alice squealed and gave me a slight shove. I playfully shoved her back and rolled my eyes.

"I actually have no idea. I mean Tristan is hot and and great kisser and I still like him , but Daniel on the other hand, is so sweet and funny and charming and cute. I could go on and on about him. Ugh, why can't the fairies just give me a sign" I sighed.

"Scarlet!" I turned my head in the direction of the voice and the corners of my mouth automatically crept up into a smile. What a coincidence. Tristan jogged over to my with a huge grin on his face. I heard Alice and Lil let out a small  quiet squeal next to me as he sat down on the right side of me.

"Hey there" I greeted him as he put his arm around my shoulder.

"I'm glad I found you guys. Liz won't leave me alone." Tristan complained.

"Well she is a delut." Alice stated, making us all laugh. I looked up and noticed that the track and field team were on the field for the fall conditioning. I couldn't help but scan them to see if I could find Daniel among them. I finally found him as they began to run laps. A small smile crept up on my face as I watched him jog around the track.

"Scarlet" Lilac said sharply and snapped in my face.

"What?" I said as I snapped my head in her direction. 

"Were you even paying attention to anything we said." Alice questioned. 

"Umm....Yea. Of course I was" I lied.

Tristan placed a finger on the left of my chin and turned my head towards him. "Oh yea. What did I just say," he asked me and tilted my chin up so I was looking straight into his now gold eyes. Still have to ask about that. I opened my mouth but quickly shut it because I didn't have the answer. "Exactly" He said and moved his finger away from my chin.

"Well Tristan was saying that after school we should all go grab a bite of pizza" Alice informed me.

"My treat" Tristan added in.

"Sure. That'll be cool" I said turning my attention back to the track field. I locked eyes with Daniel and I sent him a smile which he return with a head nod my way. His smile soon vanished into a questioning look and I realized that Tristan's arm was still around my neck. I shifted my gaze to Tristan's arm and looked back up at Daniel, but his gaze was no longer on me. It was on Tristan.

"Scarlet" Tristan said.

" Yea" I replied at little worried and looked at him. Tristan put a finger under my chin once up and tilted my head and before I knew it gave me a peck on the lips just at the bell rang. Tristan gave me a small smile as he got up and walked away towards the school building. I immediately looked back at Daniel just as he turned away from me with a look of anger and a little bit of sadness in his eyes. My eyes followed him as he walked back to the locker room. My eyes stared at the now closing locker room door and I felt my stomach twisting in knots and my heart ached.

"Well that was unexpected" Alice said  breaking the silence between us.

"Yea, well I think you guys should head to class now. Don't want to be late" I pointed out talking mostly to the ground then to them.

"Are you sure" Lilac asked and place a hand on my shoulder. I looked up at her and gave a small smile and nodded my head. They slowly got up and walked away looking back at me every now and then until they got into the building. I got up shortly after and headed towards the east wing of my school where my locker was.

When I rounded the corner of the hallway, I slowed down my pace once I saw the familiar figure of Daniel leaned up against my locker. "Daniel." I said quietly.

"Hey" He said not looking me in the eye. I opened up my locker and searched around for my French book.

"Hey" I replied still in my quiet voice. I finally found my French book and as soon as I took it out. Daniel shut my locker door and pushed me against it and before I knew it his pink plump lips were against mine. Without thought I dropped my French book and wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his around my waist. Our bodies were pressed together and our lips moved in sync. It was rough and a little bit rushed but it was still amazing and I could feel all my confusion and worry melt away and I knew I could stay there forever but I knew there was only about a minute to get to class before the late bell rings. "We're going to be late" I informed him as I pulled my lips away.

Daniel cupped both my cheeks, pressed his forehead to mine and whispered "Who cares" before pulling me in for a more gentle and passionate kiss.

Hey there guys! OHH I miss writing and you guys sooo much but I've been so busy. I hope you guys like this chapter even though its short I'll try to make the next on longer. Promise!
