Lima opened her eyes lazily, still feeling groggy from her jagged and gloomy sleep. She stared at the ceiling a few seconds before the events from yesterday came jarring back in her mind, all at once.

She sat on the bed in swift motion, her neck craning around to find Rishit, but her bedroom was empty, stinking with silence. A sharp pang of guilt hit her heart, swallowing past her fears and irrational imagination she jumped off the bed.

She ran downstairs, two steps at a time. She threw open the door to Viaan's room, the hinges almost flying off the door.

Viaan promptly fell off the bed with a sharp frightened child-like yelp. "Jesus! Fuck! WHAT THE HELL?"

Lima ignored him, her eyes roaming the small bedroom, even looking under the beds. "Where's Rishit?"

"Oh let me check my pockets!"

"Viaan!"

"Wouldn't you know the answer to that better? You were with him last night." Viaan grunted, standing up and dusting his backside.

Lima trembled from dread. He'd left her, he'd run away again. She had made him go away.

Viaan's eyebrows furrowed at the shivering woman in front of him so early in the morning. "Lima?"

There was an ache in her throat, she couldn't speak, she couldn't breathe, she needed to let it out, she needed to swallow. She ran towards the adjoined bathroom and threw up ungraciously.

Viaan followed her, squinting his nose as he saw her puke her guts out. "Ow, damn, what did you eat?"

Lima put a hand over the wall, supporting herself as her stomach turned itself inside out. Viaan didn't step forward, he didn't know how to react, plus he was very disgusted. After a few seconds when there was nothing left in Lima to throw up, she washed her mouth and walked past Viaan, not even sparing him a glance.

"Whoa, not so fast." Viaan ran after her, stopping her from leaving the bedroom. "What the hell is going on Lima? You weren't speaking a word last night, Rishit was away, his phone is still off. What the hell happened on your date?"

"Ms. Fox." Lima impulsively corrected.

Viaan rolled his eyes. "Oh cut that crap. I am probably in the top five people who know you well, don't play that employer card now. Rishit is my friend and so are you. I have the right to know what happened."

Lima sighed and closed her eyes, exhaustion gripping her hard. She so wished, this was all just a nightmare. And soon she'd wake up, in Rishit's arms, safe, happy and still having a first date to go on. "He left. He left me again."

Viaan blinked. "Rish?"

"Yep."

The wheels in Viaan's brain turned and turned and turned, he took an unsteady step back. "Oh no, I think I know why."

Lima's face snapped to face him. How could he possibly know why? Did he know about Jenny? Had Rishit told him about her? He certainly didn't know about Rishit being hired as a contract killer. So what exactly could he know? Intrigued and baffled, Lima asked. "Why? What do you know?"

Viaan swallowed hard, the words getting difficult to move past the guilt-ridden bulge in his throat. "I – uh – I told him. I told him about –" Viaan fumbled with the words, not sure how to answer.

"Jesus, spit it out!"

"I told him about your mother dying, how there were rumors that you killed her." The second the words were out Viaan wished he could turn back time.

Lima stilled, her shoulders straightening. She couldn't believe her ears, of all the things she had expected him to say – this didn't even make it in top 500. "You said what?"

Viaan took a shaky step back and sat on the bed, his eyes resigned and regretful. "I am sorry, I didn't know he would run away."

Lima closed her eyes, her back automatically moving to take support from the door behind her. After a few seconds when she opened her eyes, they were filled with wrath and fury. "You think I killed my mother? You think I drowned her in the lake? You think I am a murderer? Do you even know the story about it?"

Viaan shook his head vigorously. "No, no! Trust me, I don't think you killed her! I believe you, Lima. They were just rumors, the newspaper said -"

"And Rishit hadn't seen that article?" He had done his research on her, it seemed weird that he might have missed such a crucial incrimination of her life. That article was the one that earned her the title of the witch – a daughter that killed her own mother – surely must be an emotionless witch.

Viaan shrugged a shoulder. "No, he hadn't. Even I was a little surprised by it."

Lima's eyes narrowed. "So you decided to tell him."

"I thought he knew!"

The fact that maybe Rishit ran away because he thought Lima had drowned her own mother was way worse than the stupid fight about Jenny. Her insecurities instantly doubled, her overthinking tactic ran wild with theories that made her want to kill someone.

"Lima?"

"Just leave it.

"I am sorry."

Lima shrugged. "What's done is done. And for your information, I wasn't even there my mother decided to kill herself, that fucking bitch. I was sitting quietly in the garden, when I saw her jump into the lake and never come back up. I didn't drown her."

"I know. I know. Gosh, I am sorry."

Lima ignored Viaan's pity hug. "I have something I need to do."

Lima walked upstairs, sluggishly, ignoring the worried looks passed by Olivia and Alesha. She took a warm shower, washed her hair and face hoping that it would also wash away the memories of yesterday.

After 15 minutes, Lima was ready. Dressed in a black dress, a fiery red handbag and matching blood red heels.

"Where are you going?" Olivia questioned.

"Got an ass to kick." Lima replied, walking out of the door, she froze as she saw the denim jacket – dusty and beaten – still on the ground.

"Thought you might want to pick it up." Mr. Pence spoke up from the corner, he was doing some gardening.

"You thought wrong." Lima snapped back.

"Most of us throw stuff away not because it becomes useless to us but because we think we don't need it, and when we do, we won't find it."

"Mr. Pence, I appreciate -"

"Oh pick up the damn jacket, Lima!"

Lima flinched at the sharp tone of Mr. Pence, it was rare for him to shout and lose his calm. Scowling, she bent and picked up the jacket, dusting off the dirt. "Happy now?"

"Very much."

Stifling a smile, Lima threw the jacket on the back seat of the car and got in, starting the car. With a deep breath, she started off towards the building where she would find Noah.

Lima parked the car and got out, rolling her stiff shoulders, her red handbag clutched tightly in her hands.

"Lima."

Lima froze at the familiar sound, her nose flaring and eyes narrowing. She slowly turned around. "Helen. Why are you here?"

"I heard about you and Rishit."

Lima ignored the jab of pain and possessiveness in her gut. Had he gone to Helen last night? Had he spend the night there? "Good for you."

"If you are worried about-"

"I am not."

"I can see you burning with jealousy, Lima."

"Maybe that's the fiery urge to slap you, Helen."

"Don't be so crass now."

"Don't tell me what to do."

"Can you for once shut up and listen to me?"

"Can you for once try and be a sister you should have been?"

Helen flinched at the sharp taunt. "Rishit stayed in a hotel last night."

The relief that flooded through her whole body was shocking to even her.

"I can see your body practically sagging with satisfaction." Helen smirked.

Lima rolled her eyes. "I thought he ran away."

"I don't think he's going anywhere."

"Well, that would be a first."

Helen looked at her green heels, swallowing hard at the jibe. Lima sighed, mentally shaking her head. "Sorry about that."

"No, I deserved it." Helen cleared he r throat, rubbing her elbows, a sign that she was now anxious and super nervous. "I have something to show you."

"What?"

"Let's get some Pasta."

Lima scowled at that. "Pasta? You have got Pasta to show me? I have seen it plenty of times."

"Would you just come with me?"

"Would you stop screaming at me?"

"Would you listen to me?"

"Would you stop telling me what to do?"

Despite the constant bickering, it was after a very long time that Lima felt like she had a sister. Someone to fight aimlessly with, without a reason.

After all, isn't family the people you most fight with?

The distraught sisters entered a small Italian place and took a table to the end with three chairs.

Helen stood up, gazing at the counter. "I'll order."

Lima shrugged, she wasn't going to pay for the sister who left her as kids anyway. "I want the thing that costs the most."

Helen stifled a smile but nodded and walked away with her purse.

Lima opened her mobile to drop a quick message to Rishit – 'Hey, can we talk? Please?'

She waited for a few minutes but there was no reply, just as she was about to call him, she heard a throat clearing next to her. And when Lima looked up, she was not at all prepared to see what she saw.

Her throat clogged effortlessly, disrupting her breathing. Her eyes widened as big as saucers and her heart skipped beats.

"Dad?"

The old bald man, dressed in pants and shirt, smiled softly. A smile she hadn't seen in so many years, a face she hadn't seen grow old, a parental figure she dearly missed.

She could almost feel her heart weep with confusion and too many emotions mixed with it.

"Hi Kiddo."

Lima choked, fighting the huge ball of tears but she refused to show how affected she was. "What are you doing here?"

"I—I wanted to talk to you."

"Aren't you 15 years too late?"

Lima could see how weak her father looked, he had wrinkles now and his eyes seemed to have shrunk. She couldn't help but feel concerned for him. "You should sit."

Her father nodded and sat on the third chair, Lima was quick to gather that her sister had played her. Helen came back with three bowls of hoot Pasta, she smiled at her father and her sister.

To Lima, it felt awkward, weird. She hadn't done this - eaten with her real family in so many years, she was finding it difficult to swallow, and her stomach was still churning anxiously. "Why are you here?"

Helen was the one to answer. "He's been wanting to see you for a while now. But he thought that you wouldn't want to meet him."

"Well he wasn't wrong."

"Lima!" Helen condemned.

"It's fine." Her father, Brad interrupted. "I understand your reluctance, Lima. And I am so sorry for leaving but I hope you can see things from my perspective too. I wasn't happy with your mother. Lauren was a lot to take, she had issues that she didn't want to resolve and things just weren't working out for us. We were both unhappy and I couldn't – I just couldn't stay in there anymore."

"I am not angry that you left mother, I am pissed that you left me." Lima responded. "You choose Helen and not me."

"About that-" But before Helen could explain, Brad held Lima's hand and Lima froze, feeling the touch of her father's gentle hold after so long. "I didn't choose anyone, Lima. You are both my daughters, my lifelines. You have no idea how much I missed you."

Brad continued, "I left you and I am sorry, I have regretted it every single day after that but I was being selfish and a complete coward. Please forgive me."

Brad lightly brushed her knuckles and Lima swallowed hard, her other hand turning into a fist.

"Dad didn't stop talking about you." Helen added. "He attended your graduation, he drove past the castle so many times, he reread the Dr. Seuss books so many times. Every year on your birthday he'd cut a cake and eat it himself."

The last sentence made Lima's heart weep like a lost baby. "You still left me."

"And I am back here now." Brad prompted, his eyes begging for mercy silently. "We both are, here to stay. We are still family, Lima. Give us a chance."

Lima sighed, unsure of what to do. How could she forget the pain of so many years and simply forgive in a jiffy? "I – I need some time."

"That's fine too." Brad nodded in understanding. "You take your time, Lima. We are not going anywhere." He grabbed a spoon and started eating the Pasta. "Now what's that I hear about you creating murder video games? Isn't that a bit inappropriate?"

After 2 hours when Lima finally stepped out of the shop, she felt lighter, she felt happier. She still had bridges to mend with her father and her sister but she knew she could do it, especially when the bridge was being build both the sides.

Helen waved a goodbye and Brad patted Lima's shoulder softly. "Maybe you could come to the castle for lunch sometime."

Brad looked positively surprised but elated by the unexpected offer. "We would love that. Maybe next Sunday?"

Pleased with that response, Lima nodded and waved them as she turned and walked back to her car. She sniffled a bit, still reeling from the beautiful meeting she just had with the family she thought she hated with her entire heart. Apparently she didn't hate them.

As she neared her car in the parking lot, she froze. "Rishit?"

Rishit turned, shocked at seeing Lima there. "Oh. Hi?"

Lima closed the distance with fast steps. "What are you doing here?"

Rishit looked highly unconfutable and nervous. Lima raised her eyebrows in question. "Are you here to meet Noah?"

Rishit's silence was an answer enough. Lima sighed and shook her head. "Why?"

Rishit's cheeks reddened and that made Lima even more curious. Finally, Rishit showed the left hand that was hidden behind his back, he was holding a golf club. Lima blinked thrice before bursting out in laughter.

"Oh God, were you – were you planning to hit Noah with this?"

Rishit's cheeks flushed even more and Lima almost fell on the floor, laughing so loud and her body shaking as she clutched on the nearby car for support. "I can't believe this! Gosh!"

Lima wheezed out. "What were you thinking?"

Rishit huffed. "I wasn't. I was pissed at him and I just wanted to hurt him."

Lima wiped a tear of her cheek. "I already have a plan for that."

Rishit's jaw dropped in surprise. "You do?"

"Of course, I do. Do you really think that I would let someone get away with trying to destroy my life and trying to kill me?" Lima scoffed, throwing her wavy black hair back. "He won't even know what hit him, I am going to crush him."

"Is that why you are here?"

Lima nodded in response. "I also met Helen."

"Oh." Rishit didn't seem that surprised by that piece of information and Lima guessed that he must already know something about it.

"She told me that she met you yesterday. Where?"

"I slept in a hotel. Alone."

"Well, that wasn't the question but I appreciate you clarifying it." Lima mentally fist-pumped.

"At a bar, I needed a drink and she happened to be there. I told her I loved you."

"Huh?" Lima choked on the air at that sentence.

Rishit smirked and nodded, very proudly. "I told her that I loved you and that I'd take care of you forever."

Lima gulped, the butterflies in her stomach finally waking up. "Forever?"

"And then some more."

"That's a long time."

"You are crazy enough so we won't get bored."

Lima smiled a little. "I – uh, I am sorry I was a bit too rude yesterday."

Rishit shrugged a little. "I deserved it. It wasn't really about Jenny, it was also about the fact that I betrayed you. You never really had a chance to get it all out and yesterday gave you that opportunity. You were scared that I might break your trust or hurt you and your self-defense tactic is fight and get away from people."

Rishit was right, it wasn't all about him sleeping with Jenny, she was scared that she was just prepping her heart for a heartbreak later. "We still need to work on our trust issues. We have so much to learn."

Rishit brushed a strand of hair from her face. "Yes, we do. We can get through this, Lima. Together. All couples fight." His finger brushed over his ear and Lima's breath instantly hitched, the small touch setting her body on fire.

Brad noticed the small action and his hand froze, he could feel her arousal and that just resulted in his arousal. He licked his bottom lip and Lima swooned at the action.

"We are in the parking lot, Lima." Rishit warned, he could see Lima's nipples hardening under the dress.

"And what's your point?"

"My point is, nobody using the staircase here." Rishit grabbed Lima's wrist, pulling her towards the staircase. Lima quickly glanced around, making sure nobody was there. The thought of doing it here where anyone could walk-in and see you two was just so exciting.

Rishit shut the fire exit door behind him and within seconds had Lima's face in his hands as he angled it and kissed her hard, his lips smooth and moving softly against hers. Lima was quick to response too, her arms snaking around his neck as she pulled her closer.

Her lips parted and Rishit's tongue quickly swept in, moving around to caress hers. To be able to kiss him so deeply after having thought he had left was so liberating and made the whole scene much more passionate and intense.

Rishit pushed Lima back against the wall, his mouth dropping kisses all over her neck and chest as his hands pulled the dress up. Lima moaned lightly as she felt his lips suck her collarbone.

"You look fucking hot in red heels." Rishit muttered.

"Maybe you should fuck me in just those then."

Rishit groaned with approval. "After we get home."

Lima unbuttoned his jeans and pulled down the boxers, biting her lower lip as she saw the thick and hard erection brushing against her thigh skin.

Rishit's fingers pushed her panties to the side and a finger played with her throbbing clit. Lima's eyes closed as she moaned even more, moving against his finger, desperate for a release.

"What if someone comes?" Rishit's finger entered her core and his mouth closed over the clothed nipple.

Lima fought back a scream of pleasure. "Then they'll get to enjoy a free show."

Rishit chuckled softly. "I didn't know you were an exhibitionist."

"I'll take you however I can and wherever I can, Lemon Cheesecake." Lima replied truthfully.

"Same for me, Woman in Black." And finally Rishit entered her, filling her up so completely, so full.

Lima tightened around him instantly. "Maybe you should stay in forever."

"That'd be fun but not very practical."

Lima started to move, moving her hips slowly. "I prefer fun over practical."

"I prefer rough over slow." And he pulled back completely, slamming into her again and again and again, until they were both a sweating mess and screaming each other's names.

They barely heard the door burst open and a security guard look at them in utter shock. "Hey! Hey! You two! What the hell do you think you are doing?"

"Fuck!" Rishit grunted, instead of freezing and slowing down, he started to thrust faster, rolling his hips. He pulled down the dress so the lower bodies were now hidden.

Lima was gasping as she could feel her body getting closer to jump over the edge. "The – he is coming towards us."

Rishit kissed her mouth roughly. "Then you are just going to have to come sooner than later."

"Stop!" the guard yelled. "Get out, what are you rowdy teenagers? Stop, I said stop! No, don't it faster! What the fuck, manh?"

Lima closed her eyes, drowning the guard's screams and focusing on the tightening in her belly and the heat in her core. Her body was pulsing with desire.

Rishit grunted as he slammed one last time, Lima stiffened and with a loud grunt she let go, coming around his hardness that was quick to respond and pour itself into her. Rishit's head rested on her neck as they both came together. Lima could hear her own blood gushing in her ears, the orgasm was intense, earth-shattering, in fact.

They heard the footsteps stop close by, Rishit awkwardly cleared his throat, not pulling out. "We are sorry."

"No, you are not." The guard grunted, clearly angry and flustered. "Get out of here now!"
