Chapter 19.
Have you been to Antarctica? I bet it's hotter than you.

Her smile fell as soon as she saw the person sitting next to Rishit.
Her purse dropped to the ground and her lips parted. Her breath hitched and eyes widened significantly.
She couldn't believe what her eyes were witnessing, she refused to.
Helen dropped the Pizza she was eating and stood up, looking at Lima with determination. Her lips tilted a little upwards, forming a smirk.
Helen was the first to talk. "Hello, little sister. Long time no see."
Lima Fox could feel the blood gushing into her brains trying to think of any plausible reason why her vexing elder sister was sitting casually, eating Pizza in her house. "What are you doing here?"
Helen nodded at the four dazed designers who were just staring at the sisters with open mouths. "I am a friend of theirs."
Lima scoffed, stepping into the house. She slammed the door shut behind her. "Well too bad you aren't my friend. Get out."
Helen picked up her half eaten Pizza. "I am eating."
"I don't care."
"You are still a bitch."
"And you still go to places you aren't invited."
"Rishit invited me."
Lima was still fuming over that, she glared at Rishit who instantly looked away. She would deal with him later. "This isn't his house."
"It isn't just yours either." Helen retorted. "I have a share in it too."
"You lost everything you owned here the second you ran away."
"I didn't run away."
"Yes you did, you pathetic coward." Lima picked up her fallen purse. "Get out Helen, don't make me repeat it."
Helen didn't budge. After all, she did have same stubborn blood in her veins. She sat down, leaning back and eating her Pizza, completely ignoring Lima's threats. "We just started eating, you can join if you want."
Lima's nose flared as she glowered at her elder sister, her jaw was clenched and she just wanted to punch something, preferably Helen's make up clad face.
"You are home!" Benny grinned, not sensing the tense situation. "I cooked for you."
Lima barely heard him, her eyes zeroed on Rishit who was fiddling with his fingers. He didn't have the slightest indication that Helen was Lima's sister. The last time he had asked Lima, she had said she didn't have any siblings and Helen never once mentioned of having a sister herself. He wondered what had happened between the two siblings and why they hated each other so much, enough to ignore their existence.
He was still trying to wrap his mind around the fact that he had inadvertently invited the Woman in Black's sister and now he would have to pay for it.
Helen passed a Pizza slice to Rishit. "Rish! Go on eat, I bought your favorite Pizza."
With a tight smile he took the slice, he could sense Lima's eyes burning a hole on the side of his face. He took a small bite and a little sauce remained on the corner of his lips.
Helen noticed it instantly. She leaned over wiping the sauce with her thumb. "You had sauce." She answered to Rishit's surprised disorganized gaze.
Lima had seen enough, she was fuming. She wanted to kill someone, anyone. Oh she was thirsty for blood.
"Rishit!" she bellowed.
Rishit coughed, dropping the slice. "Ye-yes?"
"Follow me." she ordered, going into the kitchen.
Benny followed her. Rishit rubbed his neck, knowing that he was about to regret ever being born.
Lima looked at Benny with a frown. "What are you doing here? Didn't you leave already?"
Benny seemed hurt by her bluntness. "I am staying another week. I cooked your favorite." He pointed at the steaming rice and chicken.
Lima waved him off. "I am in no mood to eat. You can feed it to them." She motioned at the designers.
Benny flinched. "But-but I cooked for you."
Lima narrowed her eyes at Benny, she was in no mood to play polite. "Did I ask you to?"
Benny looked down and Rishit felt sorry for him, despite his hatred towards him.
Lima saw his miserable crestfallen face and sighed, she leaned on the counter, rubbing her forehead. "I'll have it later."
Benny looked up, his face significantly brightened. "Really?"
Lima nodded. "Yes, now can you get out?"
Benny grinned, walking out, happy and hopeful.
Lima turned to face Rishit, her eyes instantly hardened. "How do you know her?"
Rishit forced a laugh. "She's a friend."
"Just a friend?"
Rishit paused to answer that and that was enough for Lima to get buried in her own fury. Her tiny fists balled and her eyes narrowed. "Let's go."
"Where?" Rishit furrowed his eyebrows.
"In the city, I want to eat Domino's."
Rishit pointed outside. "That's what Helen got."
Lima's cussed mentally. "Then I want Papa John's."
Rishit opened and closed his mouth. "Now?"
Lima folded her arms hostilely. "Yes now. Why?"
Rishit rubbed his neck. "Well wouldn't that be rude?"
"You called someone into my home without asking me. I don't think you understand what rude means."
Rishit pressed his lips together. Damn, how was I to know that they were sisters?
"You owe me." Lima spoke.
"Owe you?"
Lima nodded, she clearly remembered how at the very start, Rishit had eaten her Pizza by mistake and had voiced that he now owed her a Pizza. "Don't you remember?"
Rishit's eyes widened as the memory came back to him. "But." He sighed. "You want to pull that card now?"
"You owe me." Lima shrugged. "Shouldn't have eaten my Pizza in the first place."
Rishit huffed out a breath, his shoulder slumping in defeat. "Fine. Let me grab my jacket."
"No need. We'll buy one if we need it." Lima replied, walking out of the kitchen and out of the house, four pairs of surprised eyes followed her.
"Where is she going?" Alesha asked.
She saw Rishit quietly walking behind her. "Where are you going?"
Rishit closed his eyes before turning to face his friends. Oh God, what do I answer to them now? "We want –uh Pizza."
Alesha looked at the boxes of Pizza on the table. "Did you both go blind?"
Rishit smiled apologetically. "Papa John's."
Helen scoffed at the predictable behavior of her sister. "She hasn't changed a bit." She observed. "Still wants to have what she can't have."
"And you still try to steal it like some pitiful sly fox." Lima barked back from the door. "Let's go, Lemon Cheesecake."
Rishit blushed slightly at the name, squirming under the gaze of his surprised friends. "Coming, Woman in black." he waved to his friends walking out.
Helen continued to gaze at the empty space with a look of wonder. "Are they dating?"
Viaan coked on the air, his lips twisted. "Are you crazy? How can you even think that? Eww. Just yikes!"
"They seem close." Helen noted.
"Nah, she just loves to annoy him." Viaan explained. "He's a nice guy, kind. So he doesn't complain."
Helen smiled. "Yeah I know, he's awesome."
"Yeah." Viaan paused. "By the way, are you really her sister?"
Helen smiled at him. "Yeps. Hard to believe right?"
Viaan nodded. "Yeah, I didn't know she had any sister or that you had any."
Helen shrugged a shoulder. "We don't talk about it."
Alesha leaned, her eyes filled with curiosity. "What happened between you two?"
"It's long story."
"We have time." Alesha probed.
Helen licked her lower lip. "Nah you'll be bored. It's too long."
Alesha lightly bumped her shoulder against Helen's. "Come on, we are all friends here and we have hours to spend."
Helen's eyes hardened. "I don't want to talk about it. Get the hint."
Alesha flinched back, slightly shocked at the rude comment. "I just- was curious."
"Curiosity is what kills." Helen informed brusquely.
Rishit was also playing with curiosity. "So you want to tell me more?"
Lima stared ahead as she drove. "I want a Pizza with more pepperoni and Olives."
Rishit gritted his teeth. "I meant about Helen. Her last name's not Fox."
"I take after my mother's last name." Lima answered.
Rishit nodded in understanding. "So Helen after your father's?"
"I don't know."
"Her last name is Jenkins." He said helpfully.
"Good for her."
Rishit rolled his eyes. "I am buying you Pizza at least you can answer me honestly."
"You are buying me Pizza because you ate mine. It's called paying back not a favor." Lima countered with a blank face.
Rishit folded his arms. "So you won't tell me?"
Lima didn't reply.
"Are you giving me the silent treatment right now?"
Lima refused to acknowledge him.
Rishit scoffed. "Wow, you look ugly today."
Lima glared, turning her flared eyes to him. "Excuse me?"
Rishit smirked. "That got you talking."
"Shut up or I'll punch the accelerator."
Rishit smacked his lips tight. He remembered the last time she had driven like a mad woman and it had been traumatizing for him. She had no knowledge about the existence of safety rules at all.
After a while Lima parked the car in front of Papa John's and got out.
"This isn't the parking lot." He informed her, looking at how she had parked right in front of the shop, literally in front of the door.
"It is now." Lima Fox stated, throwing the keys at Rishit and walking inside the shop.
Rishit grabbed the keys and sighed, shaking his head at Lima. That woman, will be the reason I suffer from blood pressure at such a young age. He got into the driver's seat and parked it in the right place.
Lima was sitting in the corner table, her nails tapping on the table. "Took you long enough." She noted as Rishit sat down in front of her.
Rishit glowered. "You need to learn manners."
"Again, you are the one who called a random person into my house without even asking me first."
Rishit sighed. "Will you stop with that? Will you ever let it go?"
"Nope." Lima popped the 'p'.
Rishit mentally groaned. "Did you order?'
"Yep."
"What?"
"Pizza."
Rishit rolled his eyes. "Which one?"
"The good one."
Rishit was starting to get annoyed by the replies. "Can you answer properly?"
"How to you do that?"
"Which flavor of Pizza?"
"The tasty one."
What infuriated Rishit even more was how the expression on Lima's face remained impassive. "Are you an angel?"
Lima smiled slightly. "Why? Because I look like one?"
Rishit smirked. "Nope, because so was Satan and you two have a lot in common."
Lima's smile fell. She narrowed her eyes. "I thought you fell from heaven, right on your face."
Rishit chuckled, his shoulders shaking. "Have you been to Antarctica? I bet it's hotter than you."
Lima gave a tight lipped smile. "Have you seen a Pigsty? It looks prettier than you."
Rishit pointed at her face. "I think you need some more makeup, oh no, I think you need plastic surgery."
Lima gasped. "I thought shit comes only out of assholes, apparently it comes out of your mouth too."
Rishit's face turned somber. "Too far."
Lima pouted. "Should have stopped before the shit?"
Rishit took the large box of Pizza and drinks. "Yes."
Lima grabbed the piece with most olives.
Rishit noticed that half of the Pizza was without Olives. "How did you know I don't like Olives?"
Lima didn't glance at him. "I know everything about you."
"It's because I had removed the Olives last time." He remembered.
"If you know, why ask?"
Rishit shook his head at the crazy woman. Talking to her was a task in itself, a task he clearly enjoyed.
Before they knew three hours had already passed, spent in constant bickering, ridiculous taunts and loud chuckles.
Suddenly Rishit's phone rang and saw the caller ID it was Olivia. He picked up the call.
"How's the date?"
Rishit coughed at the unexpected greeting. He glanced at Lima who luckily wasn't focused on him and was looking at her nails. "Shut up! Where are you?"
Olivia chuckled. "Relax, I am in the room, alone. Are you with her?"
"Yeah."
"Can Helen stay?"
Rishit choked on air. "Say what now?"
Olivia exhaled. "It's pretty late and Helen wants to stay. Viaan and Alesha are planning a night over, you know the kind we used to have? Popcorn, horror movies, fat blankets and dim lights."
Rishit closed his eyes. "Olivia, I don't think that's a good idea."
"Please?" He could hear the pout in her voice. "It's been so long since I saw a horror movie. Plus Viaan wants to see it because Alesha hates them and keeps grabbing on to his hands. He's such a dork. Why can't he just confess already?"
Rishit chuckled. "I understand that but I don't think it's possible."
"Ask her." Olivia prompted.
"Why me?"
"Because she listens to you."
"That's not true!" Rishit's voice went up a notch and Lima raised her eyebrows in question. He shook his head, lowering his tone. "Ask her yourself."
"Come on." Olivia pleaded. "Please."
"No."
"I'll buy you that stupid game you wanted."
"It's not stupid. And I already bought it." Rishit replied.
Olivia huffed. "Well then, I'll get you a brand new designing kit."
"Mine is fine."
"Okay don't ask her. I'll tell everyone you like Lima."
Rishit's back straightened. "What? Don't you dare and that's not true."
Olivia smirked. "So it's fine if I tell, right?"
Rishit gritted his teeth in fury. "One second." He put the phone down turning to a curious Lima. "Can Helen stay?"
Lima's physically recoiled. "Excuse me?"
Rishit took a deep breath. "They are planning a night over, and the others really want her to stay."
"In my house!?"
"It's just for a night." Rishit clarified, trying to make Lima sympathize.
"In my house?" Lima's was half yelling by now. "And what about me?"
"We'll be in our room. We won't disturb you." Rishit assured.
Lima scoffed. "We?"
If he thinks that she will let him be anywhere near Helen, he is sadly very mistaken.
Rishit pressed his lips together. "Um they."
"They can be wherever they want." She pointed at Rishit and then herself. "We are going to a hotel."
Rishit's jaw fell. "Huh?"
"I won't stay under the same roof as that useless domineering slut." Lima elucidated. "And since I won't be going back, neither are you."
Rishit's voice turned shrill. "Why me? I can go back by a cab."
"Then she doesn't stay. I hate her, in case I haven't made that clear already. And you do not defy me, have you learnt nothing yet?"
Rishit closed his eyes and nodded. He put the phone back to his ear. "You heard her, she doesn't stay."
"What I heard was you two are staying in a hotel. Have fun. Kay, bye!" and then the cheerful Olivia cut the call.
Rishit stared at the cut call with a dumbfounded expression. Lima stood up, grabbing her purse. "Come on, we gotta find a nice room. A nice bed and a bath tub."
Rishit's face turned even more speechless. "Huh?" was all he could mutter. How did spending the day with Helen turn into spending the night in a hotel with Lima?
He quietly followed Lima. It was only after he sat in the car did he realize her words. "A room? A? One? As in singular?"
Lima laughed. "Took you long enough to figure it out."
"Two rooms." Rishit demanded, putting up two fingers in front of Lima.
"One room. One bed." Lima answered, slapping his fingers away.
"Two rooms." Rishit repeated, gritting his teeth.
Lima sighed. "One room, two beds." She finally bargained.
"One room, two beds, not joined." Rishit corrected.
Lima rolled her eyes. "What are you? A virgin?"
"We are not having sex!" Rishit vowed, glaring at Lima.
Lima turned the car to the left. "Yeah you are right, you won't be able to handle me."
Rishit was torn between wanting to reply to that and continuing the insane conversation or shutting up and letting it die. He chose the latter.
Lima parked the car in front of a 5 star hotel. She threw the keys to the Valet.
"Scratch my car and I'll scratch your face."
The valet bowed in fright, nodding.
Rishit whistled as she saw the interiors. It was beautiful. Trust Lima to spend extravagantly for just one night tiny miles away from her own huge castle.
"Your best room."
"With two beds." Rishit added.
The male receptionist looked at the two with an inquisitive gaze. "Two beds?" he repeated. It was rather odd for a couple to come here and ask for two separate beds, most that came wanted one big bed.
Lima sighed. "Yeah, he's gay."
The male receptionist nodded in understanding and Rishit glared at her. "Am not."
Lima gave Rishit a tight smile. "Then do you want one bed?"
Rishit swallowed and looked at the male receptionist. "Yes, I am gay. Sooo gay." Rishit whispered passionately, winking at him.
The receptionist leaned away, smiling awkwardly. "That's uh nice." He typed something on the computer. "I'll need your identification cards please."
They gave him their IDs and signed two papers.
"It's Room 505." He pointed to the number on the key card. "In the B wing." He pointed to the right. "Please go to your right. Do you have any luggage?"
Lima shook her head, taking the key. "Thanks. Your drinks menu is there in the room?"
"Yes ma'am. The Wi-fi is free. Breakfast is included, it will start at 7 am till 10 am. Swimming pool is on the first floor. Dial 111 for reception, 112 for in-room dining, and 113 for housekeeping." The male receptionist smiled at the two. "Please enjoy your stay."
"Sure." Lima nodded.
Rishit smiled. "Thank you very much."
The receptionist cleared his throat uncomfortably. He bowed. "Our pleasure."
Lima and Rishit walked into their room and Lima instantly walked into the bathroom. She took out the bathrobe and smiled at it. "I am guessing you'll sleep topless."
Rishit scowled at her mischievous gaze. "No. I can sleep in this."
Lima shrugged. "Too bad, I was hoping to see you naked."
Rishit sat on his single bed and it bounced. "Nice room."
Lima nodded. "Yeah, and just so you know. You still owe me a Pizza."
"What? How?"
"I paid for it." Lima reminded him.
Rishit took out his wallet. "How much was it?"
"Save it. You just remember you owe me Pizza."
Rishit breathed out heavily, closing his wallet. "You just want that control over me."
Lima winked at him, walking into the bathroom. "I am changing, the door's open."
The invitation lay open and for a second, Rishit was tempted to walk into the open bathroom. But he held himself back, closing his eyes, he collapsed on the soft bed. Mentally praying that this night would be as mundane as ever.
