I'll aim my knife at the wall but somehow it will stab your eye.

"Olivia?" Rishit asked with questioning eyes at the packed bags. "What's going on?"

Olivia swallowed and wiped a tear off her cheek. "Nothing."

Rishit looked at the packed bags and furrowed his eyebrows. "What do you mean nothing? Why is your stuff packed?"

Olivia blew her nose on the napkin, making a loud blowing noise that made Rishit flinch and look at her with a little disgust.

"She fired me."

Viaan who had just come down, hearing their voices, gasped. Eyes wide and jaw dropped. "What?"

Olivia nodded, looking down. "I got fired."

Rishit smacked his lips not quite believing it, after everything they had been through, after all the hard work Olivia put into the design, after helping Olivia with her douche ex-boyfriend, how could Lima Fox be so utterly heartless?

How could she have no conscience?

How could she pretend to be nice to them and then later stab them in the back like a vicious witch?

Then again, maybe it was his fault to have expected something better and pleasant from this cold and cruel woman.

"Are-are you sure?" Viaan probed, walking towards her. He was still dressed in his night suit, it was just 8 in the morning.

"I called a cab." Olivia sighed, biting her lower lip. "I didn't, I didn't want to face you all. So I just thought I could slip out and avoid face the embarrassment."

Rishit scoffed. He had found her trying to sneak out when he was in the kitchen drinking water. He was quite surprised at the sight of Olivia dragging her suitcase trying to be very quiet. "So what? You were just going to leave without a word? How could you! And when did this happen?"

"I got to know last night. Was ordered to leave instantly."

Viaan rubbed his forehead, the situation made no sense to him. "Why? Why?"

Olivia shrugged a shoulder. "Something about professional boundaries and personal issues."

"What? But didn't you ask in detail? There has to be a sensible reason right? How can you just listen to whatever is being said? Hat boundaries? What issues?"

Oliva's nose flared. "I don't know." She screamed, glaring at Viaan. "I don't know why I was fired. I don't know anything."

Viaan blanched a bit but stood straight. "Then shouldn't you ask? Why are you such a pushover?" he shouted back right back.

Olivia's eyes widened and Viaan shut his lips, understanding his mistake. "I am sorry." He exhaled. "I didn't mean that."

Olivia's lower lips trembled. She had just finished crying and here she was, ready to bawl like a baby again. How could her body produce so much water for tears? She had no idea.

"No." she gritted out. "You are right. I am a pushover. The one with a cheating ex-boyfriend has to be right?"

"That's." Viaan rubbed his neck. "That's not what I meant. You know that. Come on Olivia, I am sorry."

"Oh, you said sorry and I should just forgive you? Won't that mean I am a pushover?"

"I just meant you should know why you are getting fired. You know, fight for your way."

Olivia fake chuckled. "Easy for you to say, you have always had your way. Papa, I want a bike. Papa, I want to work in a good company. Papa, I want be happy. Okay son, done, sealed, delivered."

Viaan fisted his hands, not at all appreciating the taunts and her mocking tone.

Rishit shook his head at the two, sighing to himself, he knew their next words would hurt just as much as a shot into their hearts. "Guys, don't fight now." He tried to calm them down. "Seriously, let's talk not scream."

But Viaan wasn't listening to him. "Just because I have a rich father doesn't mean I am happy okay?" he yelled at Olivia. "A rich family doesn't guarantee a happy one."

Olivia flinched at the tone. "Don't you fucking scream at me." She screeched right back. "You don't know what it's like to be terrified of getting fired. To work your ass off every minute of every day because you need to, to survive, to feed."

"And you don't know what's like to have self-respect, self-love. I bet if Jeffery came to you right now you would run into his arms, forgetting everything he did to you. Why? Because you don't value yourself."

Rishit closed his eyes and cursed under his breath. What a wonderful way to start the day!

"You are the one to say. How long have you been in love with -"

"What the hell is this uproar?" a loud thunderous shout echoed through the house, making all three designers step back and snap their mouths shut.

Lima tied the ribbon of her black lace robe, her eyes double in size and shooting daggers into theirs. They looked down instinctively.

"One of these day, I swear I'll put out your tongues." She cussed walking downstairs.

Benny opened his door, rubbing his eyes at the loud voices. He followed Lima down the steps.

"I can't even sleep properly in the morning since you guys have come here." She glared at them. Her eyes landed on the packed bags. "Can you all stop creating havoc here?"

She raised an eyebrow. "Who is running away?"

Rishit narrowed his eyes at her. "Don't act all innocent now."

"Excuse me?"

Rishit took a step forward, broadening his shoulders. "I can't believe you did this. After everything. You really are a witch."

Lima's jaw clenched. "Did you just call me a witch?" her speech was well paused, giving him time to correct his mistake.

Rishit raised his head in challenge. "I did."

Lima took a step closer to him. "Isn't your tongue moving too freely? Should I cut it in half or spilt it vertically?"

Rishit felt a shiver run down his spine but he stood his ground. "I am not scared of you."

"Then why didn't you sleep in my bedroom last night? Were you scared that you wouldn't be able to control yourself? Or were you scared I'd fuck you senselessly?"

There was loud shocked gasps all around the room, the biggest one from Benny.

Rishit looked around at the shaken faces and glared at Lima. She smirked, tilting her head. She knew exactly how to get on his nerves now. And she quite enjoyed it.

Rishit cleared his throat. "Why-why would I sleep in your bedroom?"

Lima pouted. "But a week back you enjoyed it. You even forced me to share the same blanket. Did you forget?"

There was another round of shocked gasps. Benny's hand rested on his open mouth.

Rishit twisted his lips at Lima. His tone lowered. "What are you doing?"

Lima blinked at him, feigning innocence. "I don't understand. Did you not want anyone to know how you are spending your nights in my bedroom? You even confessed that you slept topless and without pants."

The third round of gasps was even louder. Benny looked close enough to faint.

Rishit closed his eyes and sighed. How could he ever win with his woman who played with no rules and with only one goal in mind – to win?

He forced a smile. "You fired her."

This time Lima's face constricted into genuine surprise. "Fired who?"

"Olivia." He pointed at the packed luggage. "You really are heartless."

"I would suggest you think before you speak, Rishit." Lima looked at Olivia. "When did I fire you?"

Olivia shook her head. "You didn't."

Viaan and Rishit stared at her in bewilderment. "What?"

Olivia frowned at them. "When did I saw Ms. Fox fired me? Ms. Blaze fired me."

Lima turned her head to Rishit who cleared his throat awkwardly and avoided her gaze. "Aww lemon cheesecake." She smiled tautly. "I just love how confident you are when you spit out lies."

"I am sorry. I should have checked." Rishit apologized.

"Yes you should have." Lima snapped back. "And why has that slim slut fired you?" she asked Olivia refereeing to Ms. Blaze, their boss.

"She came to know about Jeffery coming here and causing trouble." Olivia said, twisting her fingers. "So she said I didn't know how to separate my personal and professional life and fired me for it." She looked down at her shoes. "I am so sorry for causing trouble."

Viaan furrowed his eyebrows. "You knew the reason."

Olivia glared at him. "So? I was ashamed to tell it."

He looked down.

"That's bullshit." Lima said, folding her arms. "I don't even know how she came to know that but she is in no position to fire you. Dial her number."

Olivia's head snapped up, her eyes surprised but so hopeful. "What?"

"Call her."

Olivia smiled and nodded energetically. She tapped on her phone and passed it to Lima.

Lima pressed the phone to her ears, looking at her nails. She frowned as she saw the black nail paint on her forefinger had vanished a little. "I need to paint my nails." She muttered. "Maybe red this time."

"Ah Catty." She said into the call, greeting Ms. Blaze.

Ms. Blaze instantly recognized that cold and haunting voice. She instantly woke up from her sleep, eyes wide and sitting up on the bed. "Ms. Fox." She greeted. "It's Catherine." She corrected.

"Eh." Lima shrugged. "Same thing. What's this about you firing my designer?"

"Yes Olivia. I am sorry for all the trouble she caused, that wench. Don't worry I'll give her nice scolding when she comes back. I'll not give her any projects till she learns better."

"Did I complain?"

Ms. Blaze blinked at the closet in front of her. "Huh?"

"Did I complain that Olivia caused me any trouble?"

Ms. Blaze scratched her head. "Um no. but her ex came and -"

"Did I say she's incompatible to work?"

Ms. Blaze licked his lips. "No."

"Then how dare you fire my employee, my designer without consulting me first?"

Ms. Blaze looked down at her cozy brown blanket, fuming with anger but not able to do anything to vent it out. "I should have asked you."

"That's right." Lima snapped. "Now I have unfired her. She'll be back once my project is done. Is that clear?"

She gripped her blanket tightly, wishing it was Lima's neck instead. "Yes Ms. Fox."

"Good. And Catty?"

Catherine Blaze didn't dare to correct her. "Yes Ms. Fox?"

"I'll be cutting 5% from the final payment. For all this trouble that you caused me."

Ms. Blaze smacked her lips together. What was she going to tell her bosses now? God Dammit! This Lima Fox was really a witch. "Yes Ms. Fox."

And then the call was cut.

Catherine Blaze looked at the phone with extreme hate and resentment. She gritted her teeth. "That witch!" she yelled throwing a pillow at the wall and kicking her legs under the blanket in fury.

Lima gave the phone back to Olivia. "There done. See so easy."

Olivia grinned. "Thank you, thank you so much."

Lima waved her off. "Go unpack."

Olivia stared carrying her bags back to her room.

"And Olivia."

She turned to head to look at Lima.

"The next time someone forces you to do something, don't give in so easily. If people start walking over you, how will you ever reach the top?"

Olivia smiled slightly and nodded. She bowed her head a little and walked back into her room.

"I'll help her." Viaan said, running to her.

"I'll also help her." Rishit said.

Lima stepped in front of him, blocking his way. With folded arms and a very pissed off expression she glowered at Rishit who was fumbling with the corner of his tee.

"A witch you said? Heartless also I believe."

Rishit forced out a laugh. "I was just kidding, you know? Just joking."

"Really? I don't remember laughing."

"You-you have a bad sense of humor."

"You should see my sense of direction then. I'll aim my knife at the wall but somehow it will stab your eye."

Rishit swallowed hard. "I apologize."

"Not accepted." She snapped, turning around. "Benny."

Benny straightened his back in response. "Yes?"

"Take me shopping, will you? Maybe we can share an ice cream later."

Benny grinned in utter delight. "Of course!" he quickly ran up to get ready. The significant jump in his feet not concealed.

Rishit scoffed. "What are you doing?"

Lima shrugged, casually walking into the kitchen. "What do you mean?"

Rishit followed her with hard steps. "Are you trying to make me jealous?"

Lima gasped, faking innocence. "Why in the world?" she breathed out. "Why would you be jealous?"

Rishit clenched his jaw. "Fine. Go share an ice cream."

"Oh I will."

"I hope your tooth aches."

Lima grinned, showing her well maintained teeth. "My teeth won't, my mouth and lips might." She winked at him in a provocative suggestion.

Rishit definitely didn't appreciate the idea of Benny and Lima kissing. But then again, she was right, why was he jealous? It made no sense especially considering the job he was supposed to do.

"The workers will come in a few days." Rishit informed, changing the topic.

"I know." Lima took a sip of her coffee, licking her lips.

Rishit's eyes focused on the movement, he gulped at the sight of her wet pink lips. His mind ran into directions he didn't appreciate and yet he couldn't seem to stop thinking.

Lima's mentally smiled as she saw the effect that little action had on him. Men, she thought, so predictable.

She took another sip, purposely letting a drop of coffee fall from the corner of lip.

"Oops." She whispered in a silky voice. Her thumb slowly wiped out the coffee drop, brushing against her bottom lip.

The air around them instantly electrified. Rishit's eyes widened at that seductive sight. He could barely breathe, his heart was drumming against his chest in a brazen manner. It suddenly felt too hot, his body was burning. And his lips felt tingly.

Oh the things he'd do to her.

Lima kept the mug back, walking past him, her steps similar to that of a woman in charge – dynamic, provocative and enticing.

"Wipe the drool, lemon cheesecake." She whispered. "And next time, wear better pants."

Rishit quickly wiped his mouth and then realized there wasn't any drool. He cursed at the woman and looked down at his pants. He sighed at the sight of the slight bulge.

"Great!" he said to himself. "One lick has me like this, I fear to know what will happen when we actually kiss." His eyes widened at the sentence. "If." He forcefully repeated. "If we kiss, which should never happen."

But he was at a great disadvantage, his poor mind would have to fight his heart and hormones after all.
