When the moon was shining bright,
And stars too were twinkling at height,
To her family, she bid good-bye
To her new family, she was ready to fly.

Seeing their little bird leaving,
They couldn't hide their feelings
And tears came down trickling.
Good-byes are always a tough dealing!

Hugging eachother tightly,
The family refused to let go.
Seeing such pure and unbound love,
Even others couldn't stop their tears' flow.

Among those others,
Were another father and daughter.
Holding each other's hands,
With teary eyes, a silent smile they offered.

Tonight one daughter was parting from her family,
Tomorrow she might also have to do.
Thinking this, their hearts were tearing apart
But still, there was nothing they could do.

Marriage separates a daughter from her family,
And someday, same would happen to them too.
But till then, they'll form countless memories
Which would surely grant a smiles few.
