We are wandering through Vale towards the docks as people around us are putting up banners and decorations for the Vytal Festival.

Weiss: The Vytal Festival! Oh this is absolutely wonderful.

Ruby: I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much Weiss. It's kinda weirding me out...

Weiss: How could you not smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances, parades, a tournament! Oh the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breath taking.

Yang: You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring.

Y/n: Yeah Weiss don't think of the time and effort people put into something like this, just think of the fun stuff everyone gets to do and leave it at that.

We were slowly coming up to the docks. I could tell from the smell of raw fish and sea water.

Yang: See Y/n gets it.

Weiss: Quiet you.

Yang: Remind me again why we're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks?

Ruby: Ugh they smell like fish.

Y/n: Hmm I wonder why?

Weiss: I've heard that students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today. And as a representative of Beacon I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom.

We start walking closer to the dock entrance.

Blake: She wants to spy on them so she'll have the upper hand in the tournament.

Weiss: You can't prove that.

Y/n: You asked me if I knew anything about everyone that is competing in the tournament. Which I didn't... well not everyone.

Ruby: Woah.

We all look over to where Ruby was looking to see a robbed shop. We all start walking over to it and stop by the detective that is writing in his note pad.

Ruby: What happened?

Detective 1: Robbery. Second dust shop to be hit this week. This place is turning into a jungle.

Yang: That's terrible.

Detective 2: They left all the money again.

This definitely confused the girls but I know who it was and where they are going to be.

Ruby: Huh?

Detective 1: Yeah just doesn't make a lick of sense. Who needs that much dust?

Detective 2: I don't know an army?

Detective 1: You thinking the White Fang?

Detective 2: I'm thinking we don't get paid enough.

Weiss: Hmph! The White Fang what an awful bunch of degenerates.

Blake: What's your problem?

Weiss: My problem? I simply don't care for the criminally insane.

Blake: The White Fang is hardly a bunch of psychopaths. They are a collection of misguided faunus.

Weiss: Misguided? They want to wipe humanity off the face of the planet!

Y/n: Hey can you please cut this out you two.

Weiss: Are you going to defend them too, since they're your kind. I'm pretty sure you would've joined them too if you were born here.

I was shocked and the rest of the team was too that Weiss would say that to me.

Y/n: You really think I would join those murders. I have been called many things back home but murderer was not one!

I start storming off.

Y/n: I'll see you guys back at the dorm!

Ruby's Pov

I was about to go after him but Yang grabbed me.

Yang: I think it's best to leave him be for the moment.

Mini timeskip Y/n's Pov

I find myself at a gun range. I might as well take out my frustration out on something. I head over to a booth and pull my sniper rifle and looked down range at my target. I fired at it till I ran out of ammo for it. I bring the target up to see what I did. There was a tight group of five in the chest, head, and groin. I was about to leave when I saw a wolf faunus girl inspecting her rifle and looked like she was having trouble. I head over to her.

(Imagine her with wolf ears)

Y/n: Hey everything alright.

The girl jumped at the sound of my voice but quickly composed myself.

Girl: Yeah I just can't figure why it won't fire.

Y/n: Maybe I can help. I know my way around a rifle.

Girl: Thanks.

She hands me her rifle and start inspecting the most common areas for a problem. I check if there is a round in the barrel which there wasn't so I load one in and aim down sights at the target. I tried to fire but the trigger wouldn't budge, I look for a safety and sure enough it was on. I turn off the safety a try again and it fires.

Y/n: You didn't have round in the chamber and you had the safety on.

I hand it back to her.

Girl: Thanks I'm Jessie by the way.

Y/n: Names Y/n I'll see you around.

I was about to leave when I noticed the bad stance she had.

Y/n: Woah do you want to throw your shoulder out?

Jessie: Uhh no.

Y/n: Here let me help you.

I start moving her body around to make her have a more stable stance.

Y/n: There now fire.

She does so and she had very little recoil like I did.

Jessie: Thanks again maybe we can go out sometime.

Y/n: Sounds fun but I'm already taken.

Jessie: (stammering) I-I mean a-as j-just friends. I know you already have Ru-.

She just shut her mouth immediately and run out with her rifle. I was about to go after her but then I noticed the time and curfue will start. So I start heading back to Beacon.

Timeskip

I was nearing the dorm and about to open it when.

Blake: Maybe we were tired of being pushed around!

Blake soon rushed out the dorm and past me as I just stand at the doorway.

Y/n: You really know how to tear a team apart don't you Weiss.

Weiss: She-

Y/n: No shut it you have done enough. 

Ruby: Do you know where she's going?

Y/n: No and by the time we get to where she stops, she won't be on Beacon grounds.

Ruby: So she's gone.

Y/n: Don't worry we'll find her.

Timeskip

After two days of hoping Blake to come back on her own as well as Weiss trying to apologize to me. We start to search for Blake. We were roaming the streets of Vale looking for Blake. Ruby, Yang, and I are calling for her.

Ruby: Blaake!

Yang: Blake!

Y/n: We have tuna!

Ruby: Blake! Where are you?!

Yang: Blake!

Ruby: Weiss you're not helping.

Weiss: Oh, you know who might be able to help? The police.

I started glaring daggers at her which she visible shrunk back at.

Weiss: It was just a suggestion.

Ruby: Yeah a bad one.

Yang: Weiss I think we should hear her side of the story before we jump to any conclusions.

Weiss: I think when we hear it you'll all realize I was right.

Y/n: Yeah like your ever right about someone.

Penny: And I think Weiss's hair looks wonderful today.

The sudden voice of Penny startled everyone except for me since I heard her footsteps coming behind us. We all turned towards her.

Ruby: Argh! Penny where did you come from?

Penny: Hey guys. How is he?

She was pointing at me.

Y/n: I'm Y/n, Ruby's boyfriend. You are?

Penny: I'm Penny it's a pleasure to meet you. So what are you up to?

Y/n: We're looking for our friend Blake.

Penny: Oh you mean the faunus girl!

Ruby: Wait. How did you know that?

Penny: Uh, the cat ears?

Yang: What cat ears? She wears a... bow...

Realization finally hits them that she never takes off her bow no matter what. And it would be perfect to hide her ears.

Ruby: She does like tuna a lot.

Penny: So where is she?

Y/n: We don't know.

Ruby: Yeah she's been missing since Friday.

Penny puts Ruby into a hug.

Penny: That's terrible! Well don't worry Ruby, my friend! I won't rest until we find your teammate.

Ruby: That's really nice of you Penny, but we're-we're okay. Really. Right guys?

She looked over to where I was and where Weiss and Yang were to see that they left us as a tumbleweed passes by.

Penny: Sure is windy today.

Y/n: Yeah but how did that tumbleweed go that way while our cloaks are blowing in the opposite direction.

They ignore the question and start walking again as I follow.

Penny: So Blake is your friend?

Y/n: Yes Penny.

Penny: But you're mad at her?

Ruby: Yes! W-well, we're not, (she gestured towards me and herself) Weiss is.

Penny: Is she friends with Blake?

Ruby: Well that's kind of up in the air right now.

Penny: But why?

Ruby: Well you see, Blake might not be who we thought she was.

Penny: Is she a man?

I start chuckling from her question.

Y/n: No if she was though he would be one feminine looking man.

Ruby: I don't know what she is. She didn't exactly talk to us before she decided to run off.

Penny: I don't have a lot of friends, but if I did, I would want them to talk to me about things.

Ruby: Me too.

Timeskip third person

We see Blake on top of a building near the docks stacking out a huge dust shipment as Sun comes back.

Sun: Did I miss anything?

Blake: (looking up as Sun drops down to her right) Not really. They've offloaded the crates from the boat. Now they're just sitting there.

Sun: Cool. (holds out one of the green apples in his arms) I stole you some food!

Blake: (giving Sun a questioning look) Do you always break the law without giving a second thought?

Sun: (defensively countering:) Hey, weren't you in a cult or something?

Blake delivers an angry glare at him.

Sun: Okay, too soon!

Just as he says this, the winds blows all around them, and they look up to see a Bullhead's searchlights flashing around for a landing spot, descending in the middle of the cargo containers and extending a ramp for a black hooded individual with a metallic fanged mask to come out of.

Blake: Oh no...

Sun: Is that them?

Blake: Yes... It's them.

White Fang Soldier: (to the other White Fang members coming from the aircraft, motioning with his rifle) All right, grab the tow cables!

Sun: You really didn't think they were behind it, did you?

Blake: No. I think deep down I knew. I just didn't want to be right.

Roman: Hey! What's the holdup!?

The soldiers look up at Roman gesturing widely and coming down the ramp.

Roman: We're not exactly the most inconspicuous bunch of thieves at the moment, so why don't you animals try to pick up the pace?

Blake: This isn't right. The White Fang would never work with a Human. Especially not one like that.

She stands up and unsheathes the katana of Gambol Shroud before walking off the edge of the roof.

Sun: Hey, what are you doing?!

Blake falls to the ground in a crouch, then continues on to hide behind one of the containers, peeking around the corner to see Roman berate a White Fang member holding a coil of rope.

Roman: No, you idiot! This isn't a leash! (as he's looking around, Blake suddenly appears behind him with her blade at his throat) What the- Oh, for f- (rolls his eyes when he's cut off by Blake mid-swear)

Blake: Nobody move!

The White Fang soldiers ready their guns and equip their swords in response.

Roman: Whoa! Take it easy there, little lady.

As the White Fang closes in on her, Blake uses her free hand to go for her bow and remove it, causing the ribbon to fall away as her Faunus ears are shown to the world.

Blake: Brothers of the White Fang! Why are you aiding this scum?

The White Fang members lower their weapons a little at this development, unsure of what to do, when Roman laughs.

Roman: Oh, kid, didn't you get the memo?

Blake: What are you talking about?

Roman: The White Fang and I are going in on a joint business venture together!

Blake: Tell me what it is or I'll put an end to your little operation.

Suddenly, the air is filled with more turbines blowing the wind wildly around the holdup.

Roman: I wouldn't exactly call it a little operation...

Two more Bullheads are hovering above the heist, and as Blake watches in horror, Roman smiles and manages to fire his cane at Blake's feet, resulting in a large explosion.

Y/n's Pov

We hear a explosion behind us as smoke reaches for the sky.

Ruby: Oh no.

Y/n: We should hurry over there.

Mimi timeskip

We get to the top of a building as we see the destruction that has happened and we see Roman and White Fang members scattered across the docks. Ruby decided to ruin our element of surprise as I was about to shoot Roman's cane out of his hand.

Ruby: Hey!

Roman: Oh hello red, blue! Isn't it past your bedtime?

Penny: Ruby, Y/n? Are these people your friends?

Ruby looks back to Penny for a second.

Ruby: Penny get back.

Roman shoots at Ruby. I quickly push her out of the way. I try to duck underneath the shot but it hits me square on the forehead and sends me back resulting in hitting my head on the hard ground knocking me out.

Timeskip

I slowly open my eyes to see Blake and Sun across to me. I turn my head to see Ruby was above me. I realized I was in her lap. She must have realized I woke up because of me moving my head.

Ruby: Was it comfortable there?

I sit up.

Y/n: It was.

Sun: Hey my name's Sun.

Y/n: Y/n.

We all notice Weiss and Yang walking up to us. Ruby got up to try and confront her but Weiss walked past her.

Ruby: Look Weiss it's not what you think she explained the whole thing you see she doesn't actually wear a bow she has kitty ears and their actually kinda cute like Y/n's wolf ears.

Weiss stops in front of Blake. I hope it still is the same as the show.

Blake: Weiss, I want you to know that I'm No longer associated with the White Fang. Back when I was-

Weiss: Stop. Do you have any idea how long we've been searching for you? Twelve hours. That means I've had twelve hours to think about this. And in that twelve hours I've decided... I don't care.

Blake: You don't care?

Weiss: You said you're not one of them anymore, right?

Blake: No, I-I haven't been since I was younger-

Weiss: Ah-bah-bah-bah-bah! I don't want to hear it. All I want to know is that the next time something this big comes up... you'll come to your teammates. And not some... Someone else.

Blake: Of course.

Ruby: Yeah! Team RWBY is back together!

Weiss: I'm still not quite sure about how I feel about you!

Ruby: Hey, wait a minute... Where's Penny?

Y/n: Oh she's fine I just saw her leave.
