A/n This part will be canon to my story now on to the story.

It's been a week since the field trip to the forest and I've been curious about dust. So I started experimenting with it. The starting results were good some explosive ice, I instantly thought 'this will be fun'. I keep combining dust till I got a combination that wouldn't fire so I take it out and set it to the side and kept combining dust till I ran out. I went back to the dorm with my notebook that has the steps I used to make each one and the vial of dust that wouldn't work. I was about to open the door till Ruby opens it and jumps up to hug me which made me drop the dust and cause a explosion sending us to the wall knocking us out.

The next morning.

I wake up in Ruby's bed as usual I look at my scroll and see its Saturday the day for our date. I head to the bathroom to brush my teeth after I finish I look in the mirror to see Ruby which caused me to scream and that made Yang burst through the door.

Yang: What's wrong, sis?

Y/n/Ruby: We have a big problem. Could you wake everyone real quick?

She does and Ruby aka Y/n sees herself and was about to scream but I covered his mouth.

Y/n/Ruby: Okay now that everyone is awake me and 'Y/n' have a problem.

Weiss: What are you talking about you dolt? If its something that's not important I'm going back to sleep.

Y/n/Ruby: Umm me and Ruby swapped bodies.

Weiss: Goodnight.

Y/n/Ruby: I can prove it. Weiss your father told your mother that he only married her for the Schnee name on your birthday.

Her eyes went wide when 'Ruby' said this. I walk over to Blake a whisper in her ear her biggest secret her eyes also went wide.

Blake and Weiss: Yep that's Y/n.

Y/n/Ruby: Okay you remember the explosion from yesterday.

-WBY: Yeah.

Y/n/Ruby: I think that is what caused it. I was experimenting with dust yesterday combining it I had 1 combination that wouldn't fire and when Ruby hugged me I dropped it it was the only 1 I added gunpowder to. Luckily I have my steps written in my... Notebook, where's my notebook?

Yang: Right here.

Y/n/Ruby: Oh thank god, that would have been bad if we lost this.

Ruby/Y/n: So what do we do? 

Y/n/Ruby: Me and you will get ready for our date. While Yang, Blake, and Weiss go get more dust. I'll make a list of the amount I'll need.

I hand them a list that says 3 times the amount I need to make just 1. They start heading to Vale while me and Ruby get ready.

Y/n/Ruby: So should I take a shower first or should you?

Ruby/Y/n: You can take the first 1 let me get the clothes I was going to wear.

She hands me her clothing and I get in the shower. I finish showering and come out wearing a red dress similar to the one she would wear to the dance. I look to see her just staring in her/my pants.

Y/n/Ruby: At least I have enough self control to not stare.

This caused her to jump and stare at me blushing.

Ruby/Y/n: Sorry I got curious.

Y/n/Ruby: Hurry and I got my clothes ready for you beforehand.

She grabs my clothes and quickly takes a shower. She comes out dressed in my blue jeans, and  my F/c collared shirt and my blue cloak.

We head to the bullhead and it took to Vale I instinctively hug Ruby/Y/n in which she returns I also started scratching behind her wolf ears which caused her tail to wag. We get off the bullhead and walk to the restaurant. We walk in and got our food and started talking. 

Ruby/Y/n: So what is the most embarrassing thing you've done? 

Y/n/Ruby: OH god why. Ok for you but tell anyone I will break up with you.

Ruby/Y/n: Ok I won't tell.

Y/n/Ruby: Alright It was my sister's wedding and I don't know what happens at weddings so we are in the main room were we're eating. I see my sister on the second floor with flowers about to throw them and I catch them.

Ruby/Y/n: Oh my god you didn't know what that ment.

Y/n/Ruby: I do now.

Ruby/Y/n: The only embarrassing thing I could think of is what happened today.

We continue talking and eating till it was time to leave so I payed with my money not Ruby's. After we leave we head to the bakery went to before and got the same thing as last time. The man could tell we were on a date since he told us 'it was on the house' again. We grab the cookies and went to the park and watched the sunset while eating our cookies I was feeling tired and I fell asleep leaning against me. 

Ruby/Y/n pov

I see Y/n/Ruby fall asleep on me so I pick them up bridal style and grabbed the few remaining cookies and started heading back to Beacon. We get back to our dorm to see the rest of the team back with the dust Y/n/Ruby need.

Ruby/Y/n: Y/n wake up.

Y/n/Ruby: *sleepy* 5 more minutes 

Ruby/Y/n: Wake up I don't want to drop myself.

Y/n/Ruby: Fine lets get this over with.

He gets out of my arms and grabs the dust and started making 3 of the vials.

Ruby/Y/n: Why do you have 3 of them.

Y/n/Ruby: In case we want to do this again. 

We both head to the hall I hug him and he drops the vial of dust on purpose. We wake up seeing each back in our own bodies.

A/n Sorry this ones shorter then my others I just had this idea yesterday while I was writing last chapter. Until next time
