Me and Ruby wake up and got ready so we can talk about last night's events with the headmaster. I notice two boxes on my chair.

Y/n: Ruby remind me to get these boxes when we're done.

Ruby: Ok Y/n.

I make a portal to Ozpin's office and we walk through and we see Ironwood, Glynda, and of course Ozpin.

Ozpin: Ah there you two are.

Ruby: Sorry someone wanted to sleep a little more.

Y/n: I was tired and it's been a while since I was in my own bed.

Ozpin: Thank you for coming Y/n and Ruby, how are you?

Y/n: My sense of smell is back.

Ruby: I'd feel better if my bad guy catching record wasn't 0 for 3.

No one laughed and I faceplamed at this.

Ruby: Ok so that's the tone we're going for got it.

Ironwood: Ruby, Y/n, I feel it's appropriate to let you know that I think what you did last night is exactly what being a huntress and huntsman is all about. You recognized a threat, you took action, and did the very best you could.

Y/n and Ruby: Thank you sir.

Ozpin: Now the general here has already informed us of the events transpired last night. But now that you've rested we were wondering if you had anything to add. 

Glynda: Was anyone else with her? Did she look familiar to you at all?

Ruby: I don't know. She was wearing a mask. And she never said anything to me, but she fought with glass. I don't think that was her semblance though. Her clothing lit up whenever she attacked.

Glynda: Save for the glass, that sounds like the woman I fought the Night we met Ruby and Y/n.

Ironwood: Embedding dust into clothing is an age-old technique. It could have been anyone.

Ruby: Wait, you think this girl is connected to Torchwick and the White Fang?

Ozpin: Its possible. But we still lack the required evidence to link the two together.

Ruby: Actually I think Y/n said he heard her say something about a hideout or something in the southeast.

Ozpin: Is this correct Y/n?

Y/n: Y-yeah I heard her mumble something all I could make out was southeast, hideout, outside, and kingdom.

Ozpin: Interesting.

Glynda: I thought you said the intruder never-

Ozpin: Thank you for your cooperation Ruby and Y/n. Ruby why don't you go spend some time with your team? Y/n we have more things to discuss.

Y/n: If it's about the future or anything like the intruder's name Ruby here knows my answer. Sorry I can't say. It would change the timeline drastically and I won't know what will happen next.

Ironwood: I should have you arrested for aiding a criminal.

Y/n: Really Irondick.

Ruby: Y/n language.

Y/n: English. And you can't really arrest me for knowing the future. Now if you excuse me, me and my girlfriend here should be heading to our team's dorm. They're probably worried sick since we never returned last night.

Ozpin: Ok I understand your reasoning Y/n just let us know if anything minor will come up.

Y/n: Ok Ozpin.

Me and Ruby enter the elevator.

Ruby: BUTTONS!

I chuckle and we start heading down floor by floor. Once we finally reach the bottom we start heading to the dorm.

Y/n: So how mad do you think Yang will be with me.

Ruby: Umm I don't know I never really been out all night so maybe ticked.

Y/n: Good to know.

We make it to our dorm and Ruby opens it and was instant tackled by Yang when she saw her.

Yang: Where have you been? We were worried sick about you.

Y/n: Did you guys not read the note I left on Ruby's bed.

Weiss: What note?

I go and grab the note and gave it to Yang.

Y/n: That note.

Yang grabs me and readies a fist and had red eyes with a slight blush on her face.

Yang: Did you two do the thing in your world?

Y/n: No jeez you think I would do that with her at my house when my mom is home?

Yang lets go of me and her eyes went back to normal.

Yang: Good now why didn't you make a portal straight back here.

Me and Ruby start explaining what happened last night and the conversation with Ozpin.

Weiss: That was a risky move.

Blake: No I think she played it well.

Y/n: I'm with Blake on this, she was smart using my faunus abilities to make it sound like I heard something.

Ruby: I hope so.

Yang: I'm sure everything will be alright Ruby. Oh I know what will cheer you up.

Yang grabbed a cylindrical package. 

Ruby: What's that?

Yang: I don't know yet. Dad sent it to us. I thought we could open it together.

Ruby: Something from home.

Ruby uses her semblance and gets on Yang's back trying to reach the package. The a black cylinder pops out. I instantly knew what it was. Then it popped up into Zwei. Everyone closed in on it then Zwei barked. Blake went on to Ruby's bed.

Ruby: Zwei.

Blake: He sent a dog?!

Weiss: In the mail?!

Ruby was laughing and playing with Zwei.

Yang: He does stuff like this all the time.

Blake: Your father or your dog?

Ruby: I missed you.

Y/n: I think both.

Weiss: Are you telling me that this mangy, drooling, mutt, is going to wive with us forevah? Oh yes he is yes he is. Oh he is adorable.

Blake: Please keep it away from my belongings.

Glynda on intercom: Will all first year students please report to the amphitheater.

Weiss: Well we can't exactly leave him here while we're gone for a week.

Ruby: Oh yeah Y/n you have those packages back at your world.

Y/n: Oh yeah let me get them.

I make a portal and grab the two boxes and came back. When I get back Yang finished reading the letter.

Ruby: So what what do you have Y/n?

Y/n: Oh there's a letter. "Deer Y/n, I'm sorry I couldn't give you your gift from me on your birthday. So I hope you came by at some point to check on me so you could get this. Love Mom."

I open the gifts and the first one was a PS4 and the second one was a VR headset and controllers with the game Beat saber.

Y/n: Oh fuck yeah.

Yang: Language.

Y/n: Hablas Espanol.

RWBY: Umm, what?

Y/n: I said you speak Spanish.

Yang: So what did you get?

Y/n: I got a PS4 and a VR headset and controllers with the game Beat saber.

Yang: PS4? 

Weiss: VR?

Ruby: Beat saber?

Y/n: Ok PS4 is a game console from my world, VR stands for Virtual reality, and Beat saber is a VR game where you listen to music while slashing targets that come at you the harder the difficulty the faster and closer together the targets are, and the level itself, so it's great for someone like me, Ruby, Weiss, or Blake to make faster strikes from playing it.

Ruby: So it's basically it's a training game.

Y/n: Somewhat if anything it is a workout game. When we get back we can play it and train a little. Let's head to the amphitheater now.

Everyone left except me and Ruby. She was looking at Zwei thinking.

Y/n: I know what you're think and I'm all for it.

Ruby: Really. 

Y/n: Yes now come on let's go.

Timeskip to amphitheater.

Ozpin: Today we stand together, united. Mistral, Atlas, Vacuo, Vale. The four kingdoms of Remnant. On this day nearly eighty years ago, the largest war in recorded history came to an end. 

Y/n: *quietly* Probably not as bad as World war 2.

Ozpin: It was a war of ignorance, of greed, and of oppression. A war that was about much more than where borders fell or who traded with whom. But about the very idea of individualism itself. We fought for countless reasons, one of which being the destruction of all forms of art and self expression. And as you all are well aware that was something many could not stand for. As a result, those who opposed this tyranny began naming their children after one of the core aspects of art itself. Color. It was their way to demonstrate that not only would they refuse to tolerate this oppression, and it was a trend that is held to this very day. We encourage individuality, expression, and unity. Through diversity. As I have said, today we stand together, united. But this bond cannot exist without effort. Which is why today while the rest of the world celebrates peace, huntsmen and huntresses will work to uphold it. As first year students, you will be tasked with shadowing a professional huntsman or huntress, on a mission. Some of you may be taken out of the kingdom for several days. Others may work within the walls for the rest of the week. But no matter which path you choose, remember to be safe, remember your training, and remember to do your very best.

He walks off stage.

Ruby: What did you mean probably not as bad as World war 2 Y/n?

Y/n: Can you imagine a bomb so powerful that when dropped it could level an entire city vapourize anyone in the blast and leave behind shadows of the people killed on walls. 

Weiss: Oh my god.

Y/n: The country I lived in didn't make not one but two and dropped them in two cities in country called Japan. Now enough with the the history lesson lets check search and destroy mission.

Ruby: Yeah, all we have to do is shadow a huntsman working in the southeast.

Yang: We'll follow them around by day and give them the slip at night.

We head to a nearby console.

Ruby: There we go. Quadrant five needs grimm cleared out.

Blake: Well, it's in the southeast.

Ruby puts the team name in and it rejects it.

Y/n: I'm surprised that it would decline a five man team.

Blake: Any other ideas?

Ruby: We mail ourselves there.

Ozpin: Well that's one option. Unfortunately we determined that the amount of grimm was too extreme for first year students. It seems that particular region is rather popular. In fact I have the sneaking suspicion that the five of you will make your way there no matter which job you choose.

Ruby: Whatever makes you say that?

Ozpin: I'm still curious as to how you all found yourselves at the docks last semester I'm interested to know how you really learned about a hideout in the southeast.And I certainly wonder why witnesses reported seeing robots and rose petals in a dance club sometime ago.

Y/n: I'm still curious about that last one myself.

Ozpin: I doubt I'll ever find the exact answers I'm looking for. So how about this. Instead of waiting for you all to break the rules, why don't we just bend them.

We wait a few seconds then the mission we wanted was highlighted and was accepted by team RWBY.

Ruby: We won't let you down. Thank you professor.

Ozpin: Do not thank me for this. Teamwork and persistence have carried you far, but you must understand, the things that await you beyond the protection of the kingdom will not care. Stay close to your huntsman at all times. And do exactly as he says. He will be leading you on this mission. And he can have you sent back to Beacon, if he finds your skills unsatisfactory. Good luck. 

Yang: That wasn't exactly uplifting.

Y/n: To me not a lot of the things he tells you is, but everything he says to Ruby is uplifting.

Blake: But it's the truth.

Ruby: It's gonna be tough but I know we can do it.

???: Hey team CFVY is back.

We head over to team CFVY.

Blake: Velvet? Are you okay?

Velvet: I'm fine, I had Yatsuhashi to look out for me.

Weiss: Your mission was supposed to end a week ago. What happened?

Velvet: N-nothing happened. It was just, there were just so many. Oh but don't worry, you first years are just shadowing so you should be fine. I should go, be safe okay?

Y/n: If Cardin and his team pick on you before we get back I'll put them back in their place.

Velvet I will Y/n.

She walks off.

Ruby: We can do this. We've never backed down before and we're not going to start now. Besides it won't only be us out there. We'll be fighting alongside a genuine huntsman.

We make it to the bullhead and everyone except me were in a state of disappointment or shock.

Oobleck: Why hello students. Who's ready to fight for their lives?

Weiss: Professor Oobleck?

Oobleck: Yes I'm afraid those bags won't be necessary students. Seeing as you've opted to shadow a huntsman on what is now essentially a reconnaissance mission. I can assure you we will not be establishing a single base of operations. Rather we will traversing several miles of hazardous wasteland, and making camp in any defendable locations we may stumble upon. I've packed all our essentials myself provided the air course and readied the airship.

He zoomed up to Weiss' face.

Oobleck: It's Dr. Oobleck. I didn't earn that PhD for fun thank you very much.

He zoomed backed.

Oobleck: Come now children, according to my schedule we are already three minutes behind, schedule.

He zoomed to the bullhead.

Ruby: Well alright then looks like we're going to save the world with, Dr. Oobleck okay yeah when you say it out loud it sounds worse.

Y/n: At least you don't have a username that means idiot in another language.

Nora: Save the world??? You're going on world saving missions without us?? I'm hurt and sad. Maybe a little hungry? That last one's not your fault, though, Ren.

Jaune: Sounds exciting, where are you going?

Y/n and Ruby: Just outside the kingdom.

Nora: Hey so are we.

Pyrrha: Ren and Nora wanted to shadow the sheriff of a nearby village.

Ren: We set out tomorrow.

Neptune: Then you can party with us tonight. We're shadowing a crime specialist. All inner city detective stuff. We get junior badges.

Y/n: You sure that's a good idea. From what I heard from Blake, you steal food Sun.

Sun: Hey I'll have you know I haven't stolen anything in a while.

Blake: Define a while.

Sun: Umm, five minutes.

I start laughing at his answer.

Sun: Anyway we normally go to the city with you guys, which means stuff's always exploding and junk. So we thought this might be a better way to check out the kingdom when it's, you know normal.

Y/n: When we first saw each other the city wasn't exploding and junk. You were running from cops because you stowed away on a boat.

Ruby: Well-

Oobleck: Four minutes students!

Ruby: Wish us luck.

We get on the bullhead and I instantly start grabbing Ruby when we take off. After a while of flying and silence, Yang breaks the tension.

Yang: I guess I just never saw you as much of a fighter.

Oobleck: I admit I fancy myself more of an intellectual but I can assure you as a huntsman I've had my fair share of tussles.

Ruby: Like the mushroom?

Blake: Those are truffles.

Ruby: Like the sprout? 

Yang: Those are brussels. 

Oobleck: Besides, given my expertise in the field of history, as well as my dabblings in the art of archeological surveys, our dear headmaster saw it fit to assign me to this particular assignment.

Weiss: What does history have to do with this?

Oobleck: My what a preposterous question you silly girl.

Y/n: There's a saying were I come from, "those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it."

Oobleck: Excellently said, history is the backbone of our very society and the liver. And probably the kidneys if I were to wager.

Weiss: And that means?

Oobleck: The southeast quadrant outside of Vale is home to wild forests and deep caves. But, it is also the location to one of the kingdoms greatest failures.

Ruby: Mountain Glenn.

Yang: That's right, it was an expansion of Vale. But in the end it was overrun by grimm and fenced off from the rest of the city.

Oobleck: Correct. And now it stands abandoned as a dark reminder.

Blake: And a likely place for a hideout.

Oobleck: Precisely.

We make it there so we jump out one by one I land next to Ruby with my scissors sheathed, my sniper on my back with its silencer, and my assault rifle drawn.

Oobleck: You still may be students, but as of this moment your first mission as huntsman and huntresses has begun. From this point forward you need to do exactly as I say. Do you understand? Ruby! I thought I told you to leave all your bags back at school.

Ruby: But you hadn't told us to you yet so I didn't.

Oobleck: She's not wrong. Very well Ruby leave your bag here we can pick it up upon our return.

Ruby: But I-

Oobleck: Young lady what in the world could you possibly have in that bag that could be so important for you to bring it-

Zwei pops his head out of the bag. I just have a grin this entire exchange.

Ruby: Get back in the bag.

Zwei barks.

Oobleck: We're here to investigate an abandoned urban jungle teeming with death and hostility  and you brought a dog?

Ruby: I-uhh...

Oobleck: Genius. 

Oobleck zooms past Ruby picking up Zwei and causes Ruby to fall into our arms.

Oobleck: Canines are historical known for their perceptive nose and heightened sense of sound. Making them excellent companions for hunts such as ours.

Y/n: You do know I could do that as well doctor.

Oobleck: But you have to fight and keep an eye on your team. With this canine he can solely focus on helping us locate what we're looking for.

Ruby: I'm a genius.

Blake: So, what are your orders doctor?

Oobleck: Ah! Yes! Straight to the chase, I like it.

He drops Zwei.

Oobleck: As you have been informed the southeast area has been marked as a recent hotspot for grimm activity. Now there are several possible explanation for this behavior. One of which being, grimm.

Ruby: Uh what?

Y/n: He's talking about the grimm about a 100 yards behind us.

Oobleck: Precisely.

Everyone readies their weapons and aimed it at the grimm.

Oobleck: Stop. There are a number of reasons why grimm would congregate in this particular area. The most likely of which would be their attraction to negativity. Sadness, envy, loneliness, hatred, all qualities that are likely held by our hidden group harbouring ill intent.

Ruby: So what now?

Oobleck: We wait, we track, if this specimen leads us to its pack may subsequently lead us to our prey.

Yang: How long do we wait?

Y/n: About five seconds.

Oobleck: Preposterous it could take-. And there's the whole pack.

Weiss: What?

Oobleck: And now they've seen us.

Weiss: What?

Oobleck: AND NOW THEY'VE SEEN US!

Ruby: I take it tracking is out of the question.

Oobleck: An accurate assumption, yes.

Yang: What's the plan then?

Oobleck: Show me what you're capable of.

Ruby: Cover your ears Zwei.

We charge at our own groups. I ready my assault rifle and let the bullets fly in full auto killing one. Before I could reload the other three closed the distance so I put my rifle on my back and shot one in the head with my prosthetic killing it and grabbed my scissor blades. I blocked one of their swipes while I dodged one from the other I quickly slice at one of their heads and impaling it in the neck killing it. I bring the blades together forming the scissors I jump over the swipe of the last Beowolf and run around it and jump on its back. I put my scissors around its neck and quickly decapitate it. I look around seeing everyone finishing off their groups. 

Ruby: Piece of cake.

Oobleck: Do not celebrate yet, for I am certain this is the first bout of many. Shall we continue?

We continue going through the ruined city slowly getting tired. Oobleck slowly asked everyone except me and Ruby so far. I was Ruby while she used her scythe for the most practical use. Hang a turkey on the end teasing Zwei with sometimes teasing me with it.

Y/n: *Thought* Darn my wolf cravings.

Oobleck walks up to us.

Ruby: Sorry. Are we ready to keep going?

Oobleck: No I believe that will have to do for today. It's going to be dark soon.

He tosses his bag to Yang.

Oobleck: You four set up in that building. Oh and please do make sure that there are no more of those creatures. Your leader and I going to secure the perimeter. Come, Ruby.

We start walking to the building he told us to go to. And we set everything up.

Blake: Y/n do you mind lighting the camp fire?

Y/n: Of course I don't mind.

Yang: I can't believe we didn't find anything.

Blake: We've always been fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right place at the right time. I guess we can't always have luck on our side.

Y/n: We're in the right place we just need to patient.

Weiss: That's not what I meant. Earlier, about, upholding the legacy. There's more to it than that.

Yang: Yeah, no me too. I mean, I don't know.

Blake: I don't know either. I know what I want to do but, I figured I'd always take things one step at a time.

Yang: Well, it doesn't matter, we know why we're here. Right?

Then Oobleck zoomed in startling me.

Oobleck: Ah wonderful. A textbook campfire.

Ruby: Fire. Sssooo... Warm.

Oobleck: Very good eat your dinners and hurry to bed. We have a lot of ground to cover tomorrow and we'll need you to take turns keeping watch over our temporary abode, any volunteers for first watch?

Ruby: (raise hand) Yo.

Oobleck zoomed away most likely to find a place to sleep.

Yang: Hey did Oobleck ask you wanted to be a huntress? I mean what did you tell him?

Ruby: No he didn't weird. Oh well goodnight guys. 

Y/n: Now that I think about it he never did ask me.

We all get our sleeping bags out and eat. I try falling asleep but couldn't I kept thinking about that question. Even though I was never asked I feel like I should answer it too. I was in deep thought till it was broken by Yang, Blake, and Weiss.

-WBY: Y/n.

Y/n: Huh, what is it?

Weiss: Why did you every want to do this, become a huntsman?

Y/n: I was actually just thinking about that.

Yang: So what is it?

Y/n: Well back home I would always play video games. When I'd play I always wanted to the hero in them, the one to kill or knockout the enemies and save lives. When I was in school I would always help my friends and other students no matter the problem I would help them, so that's why I wanted to do this.

After that I stayed up for long enough to see Ruby get up so I follow.

Ruby: Zwei, this is a wasteland. You literally could've done that anywhere.

WFM1: What was that?

WFM2: What was what?

WFM1: I thought I heard a beowolf or something.

WFM2: Let's just finish our patrol and get back to base.

WFM1: This place gives me the creeps.

I follow behind Ruby completely silent.

Ruby: Did they go in yet? One bark means yes. 

He barks once.

Ruby: Oh this is it. This is it.

Y/n: Yes it is.

Ruby: Ahhh. Y/n, what the heck? You scared me.

Y/n: Sorry Rubes.

I kiss her cheek. She pulls her scroll out.

Ruby: Oh man. We have to tell the others.

We start walking back. Then the ground cracked and fell from under us. I stab the ground with my scissors and grabbed Ruby. She threw Zwei up.

Y/n: Well this not good. Zwei go get the others. 

Ruby: Can you pull us up?

Y/n: I can-

Then my prosthetic came off and we fall. We both land on our backs. We get up and a door opens and two White Fang members came out.

Y/n: Ruby my sniper.

I toss her my sniper she quickly shot both WFMs with lightning dust I had in it tazing and knocking them out.

Y/n: Well I don't know what happens next.

Ruby: This wasn't suppose to happen?

Y/n: You falling yes, them getting knocked out no. If I had both arms I would have a plan but I don't.

Ruby: What was your plan?

Y/n: I would dress in one of their uniforms and make it look like I caught you.

Ruby: Ok that sounds good but you're right you need both arms. Let's just go scout around maybe we can find their base.

We start moving through the abandoned underground city looking around. 

Timeskip

We get on a roof of a place and found the train. I couldn't find anything as a temporary arm so I let Ruby hold on to both of my guns. Ruby was looking through the scope of the sniper looking at the train and all the WFMs and saw Roman Torchwick.

Ruby: Alright there's mechs, weapons and dust all on that train and Roman is down there.

Y/n: You do know that I knew that right?

Ruby: Oh right.

We hear explosions I look and see everyone.

Y/n: Come on let's join back up with everyone.

We go down the building when we started running to them I heard Roman.

Roman: Somebody shoot them.

While we were running  I started smelling blood I just thought it was either the injured WFMs from Yang or the dried blood throughout the underground city. We stopped in front of a group of WFMs before they were blown up by Yang.

Yang: Ruby!

Weiss: Are you ok?

Y/n: We're fine. We're lucky I had my sniper on me.

They hand Ruby Crescent Rose and handed me my hand and W/n.

Ruby: Listen when we were scouting the train it has all sorts of weapons and robots on it. Androids, mechs they're all loaded up on the train cars.

Oobleck: That's ridiculous! These tunnels are sealed. The tracks lead to a dead end.

Roman over intercom: Get to your places we are leaving now.

Y/n: Sounds like they want to go somewhere.

Ruby: We need backup. Let me call Jaune.

Y/n: Ok two things, one we don't have a signal, two why Jaune of all people.

Weiss: So what do we do?

Oobleck: I believe we have only one option.

Ruby: We're stopping that train.

We get on the train.

WFM1: I think they're on the-

Oobleck knocks him out.

Oobleck: Hurry children. We must get to the front of this train.

Weiss: Professor?

Oobleck: Doctor.

Weiss: What's that?

Y/n: I know what it is and we better start moving.

Yang: Why, what is it?

Oobleck: That, my dear appears to be a bomb.

Ruby: We got baddies.

Oobleck: I didn't expect them to go-

The bomb activates.

Oobleck: -easy on us. Time to go. Blake detach the caboose. It will kill us all.

We all jump on the next car.

Blake: It decoupled itself.

Yang: I guess he really doesn't want us on this train.

The last car explodes.

Oobleck: That's not good.

Ruby: Neither is this.

Blake: Another bomb?

Oobleck runs past us and opens another hatch.

Oobleck: They all have bombs.

The one we're on starts and decouples itself. We run and jump across.

Yang: This doesn't make sense!

WFM1: Get the humans!

We managed to take out all of the WFMs with ease.

Oobleck: He's leading grimm to the city.

Weiss: What?

Oobleck: It's the cars. They detach and explode, creating openings for the grimm.

Blake: That's insane.

Oobleck: We have to hurry. You three. Go below and try to stop those bombs. 

Ruby: What about us?

Oobleck: We're going to stop this train.

Y/n: Ruby already said that.

Me, Ruby, Zwei, and Oobleck are running across the top of the train.

Oobleck: Up ahead.

We see two paladins running towards us. 

Oobleck: We got a problem!

Oobleck drinks from his weapon/thermos and turned it into weapon mode. Zwei barks and jumps and lets Oobleck hit him with his weapon sending him into the mech like a fireball. Knocking it off. Oobleck then single handedly knocks off another one.

Timeskip because I'm lazy and I'm nearing 5000 word.

Oobleck: Ruby, Y/n you go on ahead.

Ruby: But-

Oobleck: Don't worry Ruby it's time I teach them a lesson.

We start to move forward but Zwei doesn't come.

Ruby: Go.

Zwei quickly runs to join Oobleck. We make it to the front of the train and the rest come up from inside the train. We notice the end of the tunnel and Weiss put and Ice dome around us. Then everything went white. 

I wake up to pain in my back and leg I look around and see team RWBY and a lot of grimm surrounding us. 

Y/n: Weiss put everyone in another ice dome leave me out of it though.

Yang: Are you insane?

Y/n: No I have a plan.

Ruby: Weiss do it.

Weiss: You sure Ruby he could die?

Ruby: I'm sure.

I hand them my weapons and they get in the new ice dome.

Y/n: Alright you stupid grimm come and get me.

They charge at me. When they get close to me I let my body erupt into a explosive ball of fire, incinerating all the grimm that charged at me and melted the ice dome.

Y/n: It should... Be... Easier now.

Timeskip 

I wake up to see the last of the grimm being killed off.

Y/n: Great job guys.

Ruby: Y/n you're awake.

She tackles me into a hug.

Y/n: I guess I over did it.

Ruby: You were great I didn't think you could do that much with your semblance.

Y/n: I didn't either.

Yang: Was this another test for you to try things with your semblance?

Y/n: Maybe but it was either have this take longer without it or at least try.

Weiss: You could have died you dunce.

Y/n: Let's get back to Beacon.

Timeskip to Beacon.

Y/n: I still smell blood. So one of us is bleeding. The scent smells like- Ruby it's you.

Ruby: I feel-

I grab her arm.

Ruby: Ow.

Y/n: Looks like a bullet wound.

Timeskip After a quick trip to the infirmary and to the dorm.

I was in dorm room with Ruby. Yang went to the cafeteria to get a bag of cookies for her. Weiss and Blake I don't know where they are.As u check Ruby for any signs that she may not be healing, you kiss her arm, in the spot where the wound once was. As Ruby giggles, you move your lips up her arm, to her neck, then onto her lips. The sound and feel of each others heartbeats, rhythmic and intense, invigorate you both. You continue to kiss for what feels like a blissful eternity, and you feel as tho you and Ruby have become intertwined. The world around you both seems to melt away, until suddenly you hear the sound of hurried stomping closing in on your position. You then hear what sounds like Yang shouting for Ruby. As you quickly depart your lips from Ruby's, you and Ruby rush to compose yourselves as Yang bursts through the door, hugging Ruby tightly.

Ruby: Need... air.

Yang: Sorry Ruby. I brought you cookies.

As you attempt to tiptoe out before be if noticed, the floor squeaks, and Yang thrusts her hand to war your face. As you flinch and squeal in response, Yang says "Oh, y/n. Sorry about tha.... wait a minute...". As she forms her thoughts her eyes dart back and forth between you and Ruby. "Whats going on here?" questions Yang. "I was waiting for Ruby to wake up and I fell asleep on her. It was a little embarassing, so I was trying to sneak out". Hearing what you said, you realize how little sense it makes, yet Yang believes you, and you both leave Ruby to regain her strength.

A/n Okay that took almost a fucking week to right. I wanted to keep the whole mission together in one chapter and so I hope you all enjoyed this 5500 word long chapter. And thank you everyone for the 1000 reads. Also I apologize for the accidental early publish the last bit was from my friend again. And I can't copy and paste it on here so I had to do it on the app on my phone which did the early publish.
