We were looking for a geist grimm, well Ruby was luring it here. I was with Nora, Ren, and Jaune. I was wearing some armor that was given to us from one of villages we helped.

(You don't wear the cloak you wear your blue one still and the front of the helmet is off)

I can't remember the name of the leader of the village. I think it was something like Lord Salamander or Lord salad man. ( only Destiny players will get the joke.) When I look at it, I think of two things Pyrrha and for some reason Destiny. Ren and Nora were arguing about the name again.

Nora: I'm just sayin' there's more members of JNPR in this team than RWBY. It just makes sense to go with that one.

Ren: But "junior" isn't a color.

Nora: (groaning) How can I be more clear?

Nora puts out her hands and the letters JNRR pop into existence. She points to the first three. I'm still confused how they do that.

Nora: One, two, three. That's more than two.

She points to the R.

Ren: But we're helping Ruby and Y/n with their objective.

Ren holds out his hand and the letters RNJR pop into existence. Behind him, Jaune is crouched and watching something.

Ren: (pointing to the first R) Wouldn't that make her the leader?

Jaune: Guys!

Ren and Nora turn their heads toward him.

Jaune: We need to focus.

The letters pop out of existence.

Jaune: Also, JNRR is way cooler.

Nora: Exactly!

Y/n: I say RNJR. Also where am I in that?

We feel the ground slowly shake.

Jaune: It's here.

We look up to see Ruby bursting out of the forested cliff above us shooting back at it.

Ruby: BAD

Ruby breaks through a branch.

Ruby: LANDING

Bounces of another.

Ruby: Strategy.

She lands and the golem lands on the ground and starts swinging at her.

Y/n: Can we please get that off my girlfriend now.

Jaune: He's right, let's help her.

Nora and Ren jumped up on to a branch while stayed on ground level. I started shooting with my shotgun with ice dust trying to make it brittle. I could kill it or tell them how to beat it but I'll let them learn. Ren came sliding next to me after he tried attacking it.

Ren: My blades don't hurt it.

Ruby: How bout this?!

She jumps in front of it shooting a lightning round into it doing nothing. The golem then slams its arm down sending everyone back from the strong wind it made. Somehow Ruby caught me bridal style. While Jaune bounced and hit his groin on a rock.

Y/n: My hero.

I said that with a playful smirk.

Ruby: Your welcome.

She puts me down while I hear Jaune complaining.

Jaune: You'll be fine without a weapon... You're the strategist...

Nora: Thats it!

Nora runs at it with her weapon in hammer mode and smashed its arm just for it to sling it back but Ruby breaks it apart. A rock comes hurdling at me I jump over it and it hits Jaune in the face.

Y/n: Sorry Jaune.

He gives me a thumbs up to tell me its ok. When I turn my head back I see one more rock coming at me I instinctively put my gun in front of me to stop it. It did but my shotgun is now in two.

Y/n: Ok now I'm pissed!

I activate my semblance and let my anger fuel it further making my fire white.

Ruby's pov

I heard Y/n yell I look over to him to see him activate his semblance. His flames were white but I noticed a silver glow coming from his eyes.

Y/n's pov 

I put both hand out a send fire out like a beam of fire at its face. It put its arm in front of it to stop it but my fire melted right through it and the massive golem fell apart with a hole going straight through it.

Jaune: Another victory for team JNRR. Ren, Y/n, I think you're onto something... It's not sounding great anymore.

I deactivate my semblance and i notice my armor prefectly fine. I was exhausted.

Y/n: Good... Fire... Resis... tant.

Ruby: You ok Y/n.

Y/n: Fine... Just... Tired. Need... A breather.

A minute passed and I felt a bit better.

Y/n: Ok I'm good now. Now I know the angrier I get the stronger my semblance is.

Ruby: I saw your eyes glow silver. How did you yours work?

We started following the others back to the village.

Y/n: I don't know, I was mad at that grimm for breaking my grandfather's shotgun. If I can teach you how to activate your silver eyes I don't know. All I know is that they activate when you experience intense sadness or witness something tragic towards you. 

Ruby: Soooo umm... Hows Yang, Avery, and Presley?

Y/n: My nieces are doing good, Yang she seems happy around the girls but I can tell she's not. 

I saw Ruby's happy smile diminish.

Y/n: Don't worry she'll get better.

I saw her smile come back.

Ruby: So what about Blake and Weiss?

Y/n: Weiss she'll be getting ready for a charity concert soon. For Blake I don't know what she's doing.

Ruby: Didn't the show, showed you what she's doing now?

Y/n: It did, her story arc ended about a two or three weeks ago is my guess.

Ruby: So you don't know where she is?

Y/n: She's at her home but can't tell you what she's doing. It would ruin the surprise later.

Ruby: Ok.

We look ahead that the others have gotten farther ahead. 

Timeskip back to the village

Village leader: We truly can't thank you enough.

Ruby: Just doing our job, sir!

Village leader: That Geist had been plaguing our village for weeks. We were beginning to wonder if we'd have to relocate.

Y/n: That sounds like it would take time with a village this size.

Ruby: Well, we are on our way to Mistral... You could always come along with us if you don't feel safe.

Village leader: I take it you're not from these parts... Anima is a large continent... I'm afraid our people would never survive the long trek to Mistral. It may be safer in the kingdoms, but we prefer our way of life. I just wish we could pay you more.

Ren: Our previous arrangement is more than sufficient.

We all respectfully bow and we start walking to the blacksmith.

Ruby: So Y/n why did accept that armor anyway?

Y/n: Well I need to get up close and personal more I'm staying back too much. So if I'm closer I can help take the focus off of other people. I'm still quite skinny, hell I'm skinnier than Jaune and Ren, I don't have much upper body strength. With the armor I can at least take more hits if my aura goes down. Also the village leader there was very persuasive. Besides I don't want to lose another limb.

We make it to the blacksmith shop and we enter, the blacksmith sees us and went to the back. A few seconds later he returns with Jaune's new chestpiece.

Blacksmith: There you go, son. It's going to be heavier than what you're used to, but you'll thank me the next time you go up against a set of claws.

Jaune: Wow. That- eh. I don't know what to say.

Blacksmith: Don't gotta say anything! Just put it on! I'll get the rest.

He heads back into the back room.

Y/n: So you gonna put it on or not.

Jaune: Oh uh right.

He takes his old chestpiece off and sets it next to his new one.

Jaune: Guess I was gonna grow put of it eventually.

Ren: A sign of progress.

Jaune: Progress.

He turns around and reveals the bunny on his hoodie causing Ruby to start laughing.

Jaune: What is it?

Ruby: What is that?

She points at the bunny on his hoodie.

Jaune: What my hoodie? I've always had this.

Ruby: *Laughing* IT'S GOT A CUTE LITTLE BUNNY ON IT!

Y/n: Everyone has a inner child,*starts snickering too* some just don't grow out of it till later.

Jaune: It's Pumpkin Pete! Y'know from the cereal?

This just got me and Ruby to laugh more.

Ruby: What did you do?! Send in a box top for a prize?!

Jaune: Yeah fifty!

This just sends me and Ruby over the edge laughing making me fall and Ruby fell on top of me. It's still funny.

Ren: Well... I suppose we don't have to grow out of everything.

We hear the door open to the back room signaling that the blacksmith came back.

Blacksmith: Can't have a huntsman without his weapon.

Me and Ruby get up to see him presenting Jaune's upgraded weapon.

Blacksmith: Made all the modifications you asked for. That was some fine metal you brought me. Accents the white quite nicely. Where'd you get it from?

Jaune: From a friend.

We all get out to let Jaune get suited up. While we wait Ruby pulled me away from the group.

Ruby: When are we gonna tell them about you?

Y/n: We'll tell them soon.

We head back over to Ren and Nora.

Nora: What were you guys talking about?

Y/n: We were just talking about what we'll do after all this is done.

Ruby: Yeah.

Just then Jaune comes out of the shop with his new armor on and his weapons ready.

Blacksmith: He cleans up alright don't ya think?

Ren: He certainly does.

Nora: I still think a grenade launcher would've really brought the look together.

Y/n: Nora, if I gave you my weapons to use, would you be able to use them effectively.

Nora: No.

Ruby: Nothing's gonna stop team RNJR now.

Nora: Team JNRR.

Ren: Still not a color.

Jaune: It doesn't matter what we're called. As long as we're together.

Y/n: Well said Jaune.

I put my arm on his shoulder while he puts his weapon away.

Blacksmith: You kids sure you won't stick around? You've been real good to this town.

Ruby: Sorry but we got another mission.

Y/n: Yeah make it to Haven no matter what.

Ren: We've heard the next village over has a working airship.

Blacksmith: Hmm... no way to know for sure. Scroll signal was bad enough out here when Beacon Tower was still up. Haven't heard from Shion village in a while.

Ruby: Well there's only one way to find out.

We start walking and leave the village while we go over our supplies.

Jaune: Food?

Nora: Check.

Jaune: Water?

Nora: Check.

Jaune: How bout ammo?

Nora: Locked and loaded! Thank you Schnee Dust Company.

Jaune: Got the map?

Nora: Uhh... Ren's got it.

Y/n: No I have it.

I give Jaune the map.

Y/n: Do you guys want to hear a song while we walk?

Jaune: Sure man.

Nora: YES!

Ruby: That would be nice.

I look over to Ren to see him nod his head to me.

(Play song at the top)

Timeskip Y/n's nightmare

I was walking through the destroyed halls of Beacon wandering aimlessly. I then find myself at the colosseum seeing Penny getting torn apart infront of me. The world around me changed to the top of Beacon tower as I see Pyrrha getting killed in front of me. I get on my knees crying.

Y/n: I'm so sorry.

Penny/Pyrrha: Why did you let this happen to us?

Y/n: I'm so so sorry.

Penny/Pyrrha: Was it because you wanted to let things stay the same or was it the fact you didn't want to die again?

Y/n: I-

Penny/Pyrrha: What kind of friend are you if you let your friends die when you could have stopped it?

I turn around to face them but instead of just them it was every one of my friends I made here.

Everyone: Were we really friends or were we just character from your favorite show you wanted to be with?

I didn't know what to answer. They are my friends. This world is just as real as mine since my dad came from here. Then everything around me started going black I was just floating in a black nothingness. Then my grandfather started walking up to me.

Poppa: If you were really their friends you would have stopped it from happening. But it seems you're just a fan boy a person who wouldn't change a damn thing about their lives. You're just a burden to them nothing more than unnecessary weight to their problems. They are probably better off without you.

I look up to him tears streaming down my face as I do he pulls up his gun and puts it on my head. I just close my eyes still crying as he slowly pulled the trigger.

*BANG*

I wake up and look around and see everyone still asleep. Is it true am I just a burden to them nothing more than a problem? Maybe I should just go. I wipe my tears away and get up and I was about to make a portal when Ruby woke up, most likely from her nightmare as well.

Ruby: Y/n, where are you going?

I turn around to face her.

Ruby: Were you... crying?

Y/n: I'm just a burden to you guys. I don't even know why you're still with me after what I let happen. I don't even know why we are still friends after the Fall of Beacon.

Ruby gets up and puts me in a hug.

Ruby: You are not a burden Y/n. You told me you thought of everything that you could have done. But none would have the same results that would lead to this right now. We are still together because I love you, Y/n. Even after everything that happened I still love you no matter your choices.

I start returning the hug.

Y/n: Thanks Ruby.

I started crying into her shoulder.

Y/n: You're the only person keeping me going. I don't really have a family left to go to. I don't have a life back home and I barely have a life left here.

Ruby: You do have family left, you have your nieces. You do have a life here and after all this over we will have a better life together.

After she said that I lowered my head and started to kiss her passionately which she returned we were like that a minute before we separated.

Y/n: Thanks Petals.

We let go of each other Ruby was about to wake the others but I quickly stop her.

Ruby: What is it?

Y/n: I'm gonna check on Weiss see how she's doing.

Ruby: But won't it hurt possibly put you close to collapsing.

Y/n: Before it would but I've been going back and forth from you guys to my nieces early in the morning. Over time doing all that the pain slowly lessened to the point it doesn't hurt anymore.

Ruby: Ok but please be quick we need to get moving as soon as possible.

Y/n: I'll be back in 5 minutes. If I am not back go ahead and wake them and tell I was checking for any Grimm trying to get near the campsite.

Ruby: Ok. Oh and tell Weiss I said hey.

I make a portal to Weiss and go through. I look around and notice I was in her room and I hear her finish practicing.

Y/n: Hey.

She turns and sees me. She smiles then runs up to me and hugs me.

Y/n: Didn't know you missed me this much Weiss.

Weiss: Shut up.

She let's go.

Y/n: So are you ok?

Weiss: I should be asking you that. You had one leg last time I saw you.

Y/n: I knew what I was getting in to.

Weiss: So how have you been?

Y/n: I've been better.

Weiss: What happened?

Y/n: My family is dead.

Weiss: Even your nieces?

Y/n: No they did lose their mom so they are living on Remnant now with Ruby and Yang's dad. I should get going.

Weiss: Why you just got here?

Y/n: Me, Ruby, Jaune, Ren, and Nora are going to Mistral. Ruby is already up so we can start moving again after we eat bekfast. I told her to wake the others in 5 minutes if I'm still gone.

I get off her bed and make a portal back to Ruby.

Y/n: Oh and Ruby says hi.

The portal closes behind me as I go through it. I look and see Ruby about to wake the others.

Y/n: I'm back.

Ruby: Good now let's wake everyone up.

Timeskip to when we start nearing Shion

Ruby was reading the map while we were going down the trail.

Ruby: So the next town is... uh huh... uh huh... We're lost.

Jaune: We're not lost! The next town is Shion. My family used to visit it all the time.

Ruby: Oh yeah, don't you have like four sisters?

Jaune: Uh seven.

Nora: Y'know that actually explains a lot.

Jaune: Wait what do you mean-

Ruby: So what do you guys do there?

Jaune starts walking up to Ruby to grab part of the map.

Jaune: Oh all sorts of stuff. Over here is a great hiking trail, and over here is where we went camping all the time. I got my own tent cause I was special. Also so my sisters would stop braiding my hair.

Ruby: Didn't like the look?

Jaune: Yeah, they just kept doing pigtails, but personally, I think I'm more of a "warrior's wolftail" kind of guy.

Y/n: Isn't that just a ponytail?

Jaune: I stand by what I said.

Nora: Uh guys?

We look up to see the town of Shion in burning ruins. They drop the map but I quickly grab it. We all rush in look for anyone left.

Ruby: Search for survivors.

Ren: Over here.

We all run over to him to see a huntsman with a wound across his stomach. Ren puts a hand on his shoulder.

Ruby: A huntsman.

Jaune: What happened? Who killed all these people?

Huntsman: (coughs) Bandits. The whole tribe... Then, with all the panic...

He starts coughing again.

Y/n: Grimm.

Ruby: Alright we can get him to the next village and try and find a doctor there.

Y/n:Guys.

Jaune: Yeah. Ren, Y/n and I can take turns carrying him.

Y/n: Guys!

They turn around and looked at me.

Y/n: He's dead.

Nora: Should we bury him.

Ren just walks past us.

Ren: We should go. It's not safe here.

Nora: Ren...

I started hearing something but it was faint like it was muffled. Ruby comes up to me.

Ruby: It'll be-

Y/n: Shush. I hear something.

I started following the sound it was getting louder but slowly. We came across a house the sound was slowly getting clearer.

Y/n: I think I hear... crying.

Me, Ruby and Jaune walk in. I was following what sounds like crying to a corner what looks like a hatch but there was a wood beam on top of it.

Y/n: Hey help me move this.

We manage to move it and I the crying was louder when I opened the hatch. It revealed a baby girl with blue eyes and shoulder length h/c hair I picked her up and started bouncing and rocking her to calm her down. I felt something tickle my arm and I see a h/c wolf tail.

Ruby: She's so cute.

Jaune: She's lucky you heard her.

Y/n: Yeah I guess not everyone died. But she has no one.

Ruby: We could take her to the next town. Does she have a name?

Y/n: I don't see anything that would have a name on it for her.

I noticed she stopped crying and she was looking at Ruby with her arms out at her.

Y/n: Looks like she wants you Ruby.

Ruby: But I don't know what to do.

I give her to Ruby and helped her hold the baby.

Y/n: Just gentle hold her and slightly bounce her while you rock her.

She was doing good. The baby seemed to be happy and when she giggled from the bouncing I noticed little wolf ears pop up. Oh my god she's even cuter.

Jaune: I think you would make a great mother Ruby.

We all left the building but I pulled Ruby aside.

Ruby: What is it Y/n?

Y/n: Should we keep her? If we do I think we should tell them about me.

Ruby: I don't know. Let's think about it.

Y/n: Alright, I just don't know if someone will take the baby.

We join up with the rest and started walking to the next town.

Timeskip

We set up camp for the night. I was holding the baby I noticed she had her teeth so she can eat solid food. She looks like a year old too. Ruby started to walk over to her bag to get some food for her and the baby. She put her arms out for Ruby again but the next thing surprised everyone.

Baby: M-m-mama

Nora: Did she call Ruby mom?

Y/n: Well it seems the little one wants here mama.

I hand her to Ruby as she had a slight blush. Probably thinking of having a family with me. After I hand her over she points at me.

Baby: D-dada

Ruby: Maybe we should keep her.

Ren: It would be hard taking care of a child.

Jaune: When did this come up?

Y/n: Before we left the town. Are you sure about this?

Ruby: I am Y/n, she thinks we're her parents. I would feel horrible if we left her.

Y/n: I guess I should tell them the truth about me then.

Ruby: You sure.

Y/n: If you're sure about keeping the baby. I should tell them about me. Ok guys I'm not from Remnant.

Nora: You're a alien!

Y/n: No I am not.

I tell them everything about me, earth, this being a tv show there, and lastly me knowing future events.

Y/n: Any questions?

Jaune was just looking down on the ground. Nora was looking at me puzzled I think and Ren was looking at me with his normal face he does.

Jaune: Why? Why did you let them die? Why did you let Pyrrha kill herself going after her?

Y/n: I have tried to think of a plan to keep events to move the same but nothing would work.

Jaune: Then you didn't try hard enough! You could have saved Pyrrha! You could have saved Penny! But you decided to let everything play the same! I hope your happy with your decision!

Y/n: You think I'm happy. You think I have been happy with my decision. You think I am happy since the Fall of Beacon. No I haven't, I have been having nightmares the guilt of letting that happen! You think I still have a great family back home, no I lost them before our journey they are dead! Me and my world are shattered! The only one keeping my pieces together is Ruby! And those nightmares are breaking me more.

I started tearing up.

Y/n: So ask me again if I'm happy with everything in my life, all my decisions here!

When I finish I hear the baby crying. I walk over to her pick her up and started rocking her.

Y/n: It's ok*sniff* daddy and uncle Jaune aren't yelling anymore. Mommy and daddy are here.

She stopped crying and after that she did a cute little yawn.

Ruby: We should get some sleep.
