The four decided to head down to the gym on the first floor. Luckily, we didn't see anymore Buffoons, or saw Medusa anywhere. However, we had a feeling that the moment we found Crona, there would be a battle. So the best place for a battle to take place would be the gym. Once we arrived, we all looked to each other and nodded. 

"Hey! Crona! You said you wanted to become a kishin or whatever?! Then come out here and collect our souls! We're waiting!" Kokichi shouted. For a moment, there was silence. However, it didn't take long for Crona to show himself. The gym lights turned off, momentarily blinding us. Then we saw the stage light turn on....and Crona stood under it. 

"There you are, Crona." I said. The gym lights turned on again, and Crona tilted his head.

"Huh? What are you all doing here? I thought you had all died in the spike pit. How are you alive?" Crona said, eyes widened. "Sorry, but we're not so easy to kill." Magane stated, placing her hands on her hips. I stepped forward, with Lilac by my side. "Crona, listen, you don't have to follow that woman's orders. It doesn't matter if she's a powerful witch, or if shes even your mother. She doesn't care about you. I'm sure she only wants you to get stronger so she can use you. Do you not realize that?" I said.

"What are you talking about? It doesn't matter if Lady Medusa is using me or not. I don't have a choice, I have to kill who ever she wants to be dead. If I don't, she won't be happy with me." Crona replied. "And what does she do when shes not happy? Crona....does she hurt you?" I asked. Crona's eyes widened, again struck with that same look of fear.

"Crona, what kind of mother hurts her own child, much less uses them to become a monster like this? Crona....I understand what you're going through. My own mother also used me, and harmed me. It was painful, and I could only take so much....so I killed her. You don't have to do what she says. If she tries to hurt you, we can stand with you. We can face her together. You aren't alone." I stated.

"Shut up! You don't understand a thing! So just be quiet! Stop putting thoughts in my head!" Crona snapped. He grabbed at his head, groaning and screaming as he pulled at his hair. 

"Why didn't you just die....it would've been so much easier then....why did you have to come back like this?!" Crona suddenly cried, lean backwards as he arched his back, arms dangling. A dark aura started to surround his body. Almost pitch black. Suddenly that aura took shape in his hand....until it became a black sword.

"Crona!" Magane cried. Suddenly, Crona stood up, then slumped over. He barely lifted his head to glare at us.

We all winced at the bright light of the pink aura that surrounded Crona's body. "What the heck is he doing?" Magane said. "I'm gonna guess he's preparing to attack." Kokichi said. Lilac's eyes narrowed. She stood in front of us, then her body blackened completely. In just a moment, her wings opened, revealing her true form.

"Lilac, be careful! We don't know how powerful he is!" I said. 

"Oh? So you think you can stand against me? That's kinda bothersome....but I don't have a choice. You have to die now." Crona stated. He raised his sword. 

"Screaming Resonance!" Crona screamed. Suddenly the pink aura engulfed his sword. The sword became three times the size, and now glowed a dark pink aura. In one swift movement, Crona swung the sword, which sent a large, pink wavelength to come straight towards Lilac. She didn't so much as flinch as she used one of her tails to strike at it, causing the blast to explode. We winced as the force of the attack crashed against us.

None of us were knocked off our feet, but it was still more powerful than I had anticipated. "Holy crap, that was a strong attack!" Kokichi said. We waited for the smoke to clear. Lilac remained where she was, unphased. Crona just stared at her in shock. "I don't understand. How could you have blocked that attack so easily?" he asked.

He let out a sigh. "Oh well, no matter. Maybe I just need to attack differently...." suddenly Crona rushed forward at incredibly speed, and lunged his sword forward. Lilac effortlessly avoided it, moving her head to the side. Crona didn't stop there though. He continued to repeatedly thrust the blade towards her head at lightning speed, but she just ducked and evaded every attack. 

"Why don't you stand still? I can't kill you if you keep moving like that. Stop it!" Crona said. And Lilac did. The next time Crona thrusted his sword forward...she caught the blade with both her hands. Crona narrowed his eyes at her. 

"Ragnarok." Suddenly the mouth appeared, and grinned widely. Then....he let out an unearthly ear pitching scream.

"PIYAAAAAAAAA!!!" Lilac screeched as the vibrations struck her body, and she stumbled back. In a matter of seconds, Crona suddenly cut his own arm, and let his black blood fly into the air. "Bloody Needle!" he cried. Suddenly, each drop of blood had sharpened into a spear, making me gasp. "He can weaponize his own blood?!" I thought.

The spears went straight for Lilac. But she recovered from her earlier troubles, and her own shadow moved forward, then it engulfed her into a black dome, blocking off the spears. Crona's eyes widened. "What the...." he moved forward and tried to stab at the dome, but his sword couldn't pierce the shadow. 

"Don't just hide! Get out of there!" he snapped. Suddenly, part of the shadow slithered away from the dome and came close to Crona's ankles. The shadow wrapped itself around both of them tightly. Crona looked down and gasped, but he was far too late. The shadow pulled under, causing him to fall over onto his back. 

As he fell, Lilac emerged from her shadow, and spread her wings. Then with one powerful flap, she flew up to the air, with Crona dangling upside down from her shadow.

"No! This isn't fair! Put me down! I don't like this!" Crona cried. He sounded panicked, and attempted to break free, but to no avail. He froze however when Lilac looked down at him with her red eyes. She gave a soft growl before using her shadow to hoist him upright. The shadow spread from his ankles, and created a giant restraint around Crona's body. He struggled to break free from it, and looked at Lilac with wide eyes. 

"No! Let me go! Let me go! Let me go!" he screamed. But Lilac did no such thing. Instead, she flew closer to him. He trembled violently as he stared at her. He looked absolutely petrified. However, rather than attack him....Lilac came closer to him and hugged him. He froze, eyes wide. 

Lilac didn't release him for a moment, causing Crona to look at her strangely. "I-I don't understand. What....what's happening?" he stuttered, looking to the three of us for an explanation. 

"She thinks your her friend, Crona. We all do. We said we'd escape from here together, didn't we? Well, we're not leaving without you." I stated. Crona's eyes widened, looking at us in pure shock. 

"What? No, you can't take me. I....I hurt you guys, didn't I? I can't leave Lady Medusa. I can't...." he murmured, trailing off. "Didn't you leave Medusa before....with your friend? Maka was her name, right?" Kokichi said. That's when Crona's eyes changed....back to the way we saw them before. Those black eyes full of kindness.

"She helped you become a better person. She became your friend, and you let her into your life. Please....let us help you get away from this place, Crona. We'll leave together." Magane stated. 

For a long moment, Crona didn't move. He was in complete disbelief. He could only stare up at the ceiling as his own thoughts clouded him. I can't say for sure what ran through his head. However, whatever it was....it broke through to him. Crona's eyes began to tear up, and tears streamed down his cheeks. Lilac slowly fluttered down to the ground, still keeping Crona tight in her embrace. The restraint that bounded Crona's thin body disappeared. 

Once they were both back onto the ground, Lilac suddenly transformed into her normal form. Crona suddenly wrapped his arms around Lilac, and began to cry into her shoulder, letting out soft sobs. The three of us walked closer to the two, and I could hear Crona mutter "I'm sorry" under his breath. Lilac simply smiled and hugged him, rubbing his back in comfort.

Soon he finally pulled away from her embrace, wiped his eyes, and turned to face the rest of us.

"I'm so sorry...." was all he could manage to say.

"An apology is not needed. Right now, we just need to focus on finding that glowing woman Lilac was talking about." I said. "....she's called the Creator," we looked to Crona surprised, but he continued to explain, "she's the ultimate ruler of the In Between, this realm we're trapped in. My mother captured her, and forced her to use her power so that she could create this academy, and transport all of us here." he said.

"You're kidding. So that's how we got here..." Magane said. "Yes....and I know exactly where she is. I can lead you guys to her." Crona said. We looked at him in surprised. "What? You can?" I said. "Yes. It's possible she can transport us all home. That's the only way we'll get out of here. But she's very weak right now....I can't say for certain she can take us home." Crona replied, rubbing his arm nervously. Ragnarok popped out from behind Crona.

"Well at least its a chance! Let's get the hell outta here!" Ragnarok stated. "Ragnarok? I didn't realize how quiet you've been." Magane said. "I don't like being near that snake lady. And snapping Crona of out her control didn't work." Ragnarok replied. Crona frowned, and looked away.

"In any case, let's not waste anymore time. We need to go." I stated.

"Oh no, you're not going anywhere~" 

Crona tensed up, eyes wide. We all looked to the gym entrance. As suspected, Medusa stood at the entrance, standing tall and proud. She bore a very unhappy expression, glaring at Crona in particular. "I'm disappointed in you, Crona. I didn't realize you could be moved by words so easily." she said. Crona was dead silent, unable to look at her. Magane glared at her.

"You shut your damn mouth! You're the one that's controlling your own son! You should be ashamed!" she snapped. "Say what you like, but I'll do whatever I want with my child. Now, Crona," Crona flinched upon hearing his name, "step away from those kids. And come over here to me." she said.

"Why should he return to you? All he gets is abuse from you! We aren't letting you hurt our friend! So back off!" Kokichi snapped. 

"I'm sorry, but this is a family business. So you shouldn't stick your nose into our business." Medusa stated. Crona was trembling violently at this point, and kept his gaze to the ground. "Come on, Crona. You've always been such an obedient child. Don't disappoint me now." Medusa said with a smile. 

"Fuck off you snack bitch-" Kokichi was cut off however when suddenly black arrows spread out, slithering along the walls as if they were snakes. Then one wrapped around Kokichi's arms and legs, trapping him. "Kokichi!" Magane said. Kokichi attempted to pull at the restraints, but the more he pulled, the tighter they squeezed, causing him to cry out in pain. Lilac stepped up, looking ready to transform again. However, Crona placed a hand on her shoulder.

"....I'm coming, Lady Medusa." 

We looked to Crona in surprised as he walked away from us and towards Medusa. "Crona wait!" I called. But he ignored us, and slowly walked towards her. Medusa smiled. "That's a good boy, Crona." she said. However, he suddenly did something that surprised us all....Ragnarok disappeared from his back, and took his sword form in Crona's hand. Medusa looked at him puzzled.

"Crona, what is the meaning of-"

"Screaming Resonance!" Crona screamed as he raised his sword. His whole body once again began to glow a dark pink aura. Raganarok's sword form got three times bigger, and Crona brought down his sword across Medusa. Her eyes widened, and we all stared at him in shock. Before we knew it....Medusa's body split in half, and disappeared. Her black arrows disappeared from the walls, and Kokichi was released.

"What the....that's it? Uh, there wasn't more....gore? No guts, no blood..." Kokichi said.

"My mother's physical form died a long time ago. She only roams the world as an empty spirit. That's why she remained in Monokuma's body for so long. Without a physical form, she can't last for long." Crona replied. 

".....I'm sorry you had to do that to your own mother." I said. "No. It had to be done. Now, let's hurry to the Creator. We aren't safe yet. Monokuma is still programmed to keep the killing game going. He'll find us and kill us if we don't hurry." Crona explained. We all nodded.

"Lead the way then." Kokichi said. I looked to Lilac, and smiled. "You ready to go home?" he asked. Lilac smiled wide and nodded. With that said, we all followed Crona down the hallway. He led us back to the fourth floor, to my surprise, and into one of the empty classrooms in there. Without saying a word he went to one of the lockers that was in the back of he room, and opened it.

"In here." he said. We peeked inside. Turns out there was a secret entrance inside the locker, leading to a tunnel. It was narrow though, so we'd have to go in a straight line. Crona led the way once more, with the rest of us following. It was tight and narrow, but we didn't complain. Eventually, we finally came to the end of the tunnel.

We each came out of the tunnel, one by one. Soon, we finally came upon a large, steel door with a lock on it. 

"Whoa. Is this it?" Kokichi asked. 

"Yes. This is where we keep the Creator. We have to hurry. Her power is drained regularly." Crona replied. He went to the lock, and began to mess with it. It was a number lock, so all he had to do was type in the code. Once he did, the door opened a crack, and he looked to us.

"Let's go, hurry!" he said. Each of us ran into the dark room, with Lilac in the back. I noticed she was kinda tired, and was slowing down. Probably from the fight she had with Crona. "Come on, Lilac, we're almost there!" I said. Lilac smiled and nodded. She began to ran towards the rest of us, smiling as she did-

*BANG*

My eyes widened as it all happened at once. The bullet flying through the air, and crashing into the door. Lilac collapsing onto the floor, letting out a soft gasp. A scream rung out in the air. It took me a second to realize it was me who was screaming. Screaming Lilac's name in pain.

"LILAAAAAAAAC!!!" 

Crona looked past Lilac, seeing Monokuma at the secret entrance, gun in hand. "You guys aren't leaving just yet. This is just the beginning of the game! There is no end!" he shouted, his eyes glowing red. In one flash of a movement though, Crona lunged forward and swung his sword across Monokuma. In just moments, he was in two pieces, laying on the ground.

I ran to Lilac, holding her in my arms. She was still alive, barely breathing....but she was losing a lot of blood. "Lilac..." I murmured. "It's not too late. Get her inside the room!" Crona stated. I nodded and carried her inside. Crona followed suit, and closed the door behind him. Magane and Kokichi looked at Lilac in shock.

"No! No no no no, Lilac, oh god..." Magane murmured. "What happened to her?!" Kokichi said. "Monokuma....that son of a bitch followed us, and he shot her." I growled. I had never felt such a strong mix of emotions. Of anger and sadness. It was so extreme, words couldn't even begin to describe it. 

"You all came...." 

That's when I finally noticed the bright light in the center of the room. Sitting in the middle of the room, with chains bounded to her wrists....was the Creator. She was a bit bigger than us, I'd guess maybe 7 or 8 ft tall. However it was difficult to tell with her sitting on her knees. Crona didn't hesitate to use his sword to break the chains, setting the Creator free. 

"Thank you...all of you..." the Creator said. Her voice was soft, like silk. 

"W-What happens now?" Magane asked. "That is up to you to decide. I don't have much power left....but I can take all of you home. Back to your rightful dimensions." the Creators said. "Yes, to our own dimensions...." I murmured. I looked to Lilac in my hands. From my understanding....she didn't have much of a home. She lived in a dark, miserable world. What good would it do for her to return to a place like that?

I didn't even have much of a happy world....probably the closest thing I had to happiness over there were my brothers. And even then, we never got along. I never treated them right....so I was always alone. Whether it be in the graveyard, or in our cold basement. 

"Heh, yeah, home....back to our miserable lives..." Kokichi muttered. "We barely have anything to go back to...so what's the point?" Magane said. "Where else can we go though? Whether we had good lives or not, they were our homes. We don't have anywhere else to go, do we?" Crona said. 

Lilac gave a small cough, catching everyone's attention. I looked down at her. "Lilac, hang in there. We'll get you home soon." I stated. She looked up at me weakly, looking absolutely exhausted. She weakly raised her hand, and pointed to the Creator. I didn't understand what she wanted, until the Creator held out her arms.

"I believe she wishes to speak to me. May I?" the Creator said. I looked down at Lilac, and back to the Creator. After a moment of hesitation I gently laid Lilac in the Creator's lap. Lilac gently cupped the Creator's cheek and lowered her head down.

Lilac was whispering to her, but I couldn't make out what she was saying. After a moment, Lilac finally looked to me, giving me a soft smile. A smile that struck my heart. A smile that said....goodbye.

Before I could even say anything to her, Lilac's hand fell, and went limp. Her eyes stared up at the ceiling, but there was no longer any life in them. Magane gasped, covering her mouth and tears streaming down her cheeks. 

"Lilac...no..." Tears streamed down Crona's cheeks as well, and he turned away as he began to cry softly. Kokichi glared at the ground, fists clenched and eyes teary. "Dammit all...." he muttered. I clenched down onto my teeth, feeling tears stream down my own cheeks. 

"Lilac..." I murmured. Suddenly loud banging interrupted everything, and we all gasped. The banging continued, and dents were made in the door. "What the hell is that?!" Kokichi said. "It must be Monokuma. He can make more robots of himself, can't he?" Magane said. "We don't have much more time then." Crona said.

"....I understand. I'll grant your request, Lilac." we all looked to the Creator, puzzled.

"What? What request? What did she say to you?" I asked. The Creator gently put Lilac's body onto the floor. Then she stood up, and held her hands to the air. Suddenly her body began to glow brighter, and brighter. I could barely make out anything in the room.

"Wait-"

"Relax. You shall all have a happy ending."

That was the last thing I heard before I was completely blinded, and eventually...everything was white....

Well, that brings our final chapter to a close. But I'm sure you're wondering what happened. What was Lilac's final wish? What is to come of our survivors now? Speaking of, let's give a loud congratulations to everyone who has survived this horrible killing game!

Sadly, we must big farewell to Lilac Tsukune. Bless her pure spirit.
