Kokichi  clenched down on his teeth, narrowing his eyes at Crona.

"Dammit Crona! Don't you see?! That damn witch is using you! You're her puppet! You have to stop!" he snapped. He started to march right towards him, but Crona's eyes widened. "Oh no, you're not getting any closer." he stated. Suddenly a green vine flew past Magane and I, and wrapped tightly around Kokichi's waist. He yelped, and attempted to break free.

"What the hell- let me go!" he shouted. Magane and I looked back....seeing another Buffoon. Except this one was bigger than the other one, and looked like a giant, monster-like rose. Of course, it had a clown face, just like the other one, which grinned widely and stuck his tongue out at us.

"Buffoon!" he cried. Suddenly two more vines were shot out, one tying me up, and the other tying up Magane. We both cried out, and shook as much as we could, but it was no use. We can't break free from these vines, and we don't even have anything to cut them with. I glared at Crona.

"I don't understand, what does Medusa even want?! What good does setting up a killing game do for her?!"  demanded.

"Oh, you don't know? It's to collect souls." Crona replied. Magane looked at him surprised. "Collecting souls?" she said. Crona nodded. "I need more and more souls to become a kishin. By capturing more people for this killing game, I can consume the souls of the victims until I become a kishin. And with the wide variety of species we can gather from many different worlds, the transformation will be that much quicker." Crona explained.

"What?! Hold on a sec....you captured us here, just so we could kill each other, and eat our souls after we die?! What the hell?! Why not just eliminate everyone once you kidnap them?!" Kokichi demanded. Crona gave a chuckle. "Lady Medusa believes this way is more entertaining....isn't that correct, m'am?" he said, suddenly looking to Monokuma. The bear chuckled....and his eyes suddenly began to glow yellow. My eyes widened.

"What the....is that witch possessing Monokuma's body?" Kanato said.

"I suppose there's no point in hiding myself any longer." suddenly a dark aura began to glow around Monokuma, and something began to take form beside him. Soon enough, the form finalized....and Medusa stood before us, grinning widely.

"I was getting stuffy in that robot anyways." she murmured. "And I was sick of being possessed by a damn witch." Monokuma grumbled. "You be nice, or I'll decide to disable you." Medusa said. I narrowed my eyes on her. That damn woman....she's responsible for all of this despair. For hurting everyone...

"Damn you...." I hissed. Medusa looked to me and smiled. "You poor boy. You must be incredibly angry. It's too bad you can't do a thing to stop me." she stated. "Fuck you, Medusa! We're not letting you get away with this!" Magane spat. The woman chuckled, crossing her arms across her chest.

"Oh, but you see, I already have~" That was when Monokuma walked over to the wall, and opened a hidden hatch on it, that revealed a narrow tunnel that went down into unknown darkness. Again, we struggled to break free from the vines, but they were too strong. "Why do you keep struggling? You know can't win. We're just gonna kill you. There's no point." Crona said. 

The Buffoon brought the vines closer to the vent, and the three of us stared at it with wide eyes. I felt so helpless. Was there really nothing else we could do? "Well, it was fun while it lasted," we looked to Crona, who grinned widely at us, "but I guess this is the end."

"Don't do this Crona....this isn't you. You're just being controlled. You don't have to do this." I stated. Crona's eyes widened, looking at me surprised. For a moment, he looked conflicted, looking at his mother and then back at his. For a moment, his expression held guilt, and his eyes were normal again. However, Medusa narrowed her eyes at her. "Crona? Has something gotten to you?" she hissed, almost as if daring him to argue against her.

But immediately, he trembled at the sound of her voice, and his eyes were stricken with fear.

He was terrified of this woman.

".....t-throw them in." Crona stuttered out. The Buffoon chuckled. "CRONA NO!!" I shouted. But it was too late. Before I knew it, Kokichi, Magane and I were shoved into the vent, and skidded all the way down. All I could see as we went lower and lower into the darkness was Crona's face, giving us that smile of madness.

The three of us screamed as we slid down the vent. A few times we attempted to stretch out our arms and legs so we could stop, but the metal was too slick to get any grip. "Yabai! Yabai! (This is bad! This is bad!)" Magane said. "Okay, what's our plan now?" Kokichi said as we kept sliding.

"I don't know!" I said. Up ahead, I could see light at the end of the tunnel. I had a really bad feeling about what awaited us down there. So I grabbed onto Kokichi's arm and Magane's arm. Then I spread my legs against the walls, attempting to make us come to a stop. The metal was very slick against my shoes, but I managed to barely have us come to a stop. Kokichi and Magane had to tuck in they're legs to keep from falling.

Turns out, we were just seconds away from falling into a giant spike pit, which was a 20 ft drop. There weren't any other entrances or windows of any type, so there was no chance of escape.

"Well that isn't good..." Kokichi said. "How the hell do we get out of this?" Magane said, staring at the spikes with wide eyes. "I...I don't know. I don't see another entrance. We might have to climb up the vent...." I said.

"Yeah, cause that's even remotely possible. We could barely stop from falling! How the heck are we gonna climb up the vent when its that slick?!" Kokichi said. "Well do you have a better idea?! If so, please say so! I'd love to hear it!" I snapped. He looked at me surprised. I blinked, surprised by my own harshness. "G-Gomenasai....I just..." I muttered. 

"No, its my bad. I get this isn't exactly the best situation." Kokichi said, sighing. I sighed as well. This was insane. How were we supposed to get out of this? Kokichi was right, we could barely stop from falling to our deaths, and we still had the potential of falling to such a fate. There weren't any other means of escape. I looked to Magane, about to ask her for advice, but I noticed she was staring into the pit.

"Magane, don't worry, we aren't going to fall. We'll get out of this-"

"No, I'm not scared. Look!" she barely managed to point to the floor without falling in. Kokichi and I looked to where she was pointing. It took a moment for me to see it....Lilac's flower. The same one she'd always wear in her hair. My eyes widened in fear, and immediately my mind was struck with the worst case scenario.

"Masaka....s-she can't be..." 

"Kanato....if her flower is here, she was here. Which means Crona might've brought her here too, just like he did with us. She...she could be..." Kokichi said.

"Chigau! (You're wrong!) She isn't dead! She can't be! It's impossible!" I snapped. But the truth was....it was entirely possible. Crona had gotten to her way before we could find her. It's very possible....that he and Medusa killed. I clenched down on my teeth, blinking away tears. She can't be gone....she just can't be...

"Now hold on, before we assume the worst, let's think about this. If Lilac was thrown down here, then why isn't her body down there? You know, all stabbed and bloody and such. Why is only her flower down there?" Magane said. My eyes widened. "Wait, she's right." I said. "Okay, but then uh, if that's the case, where is....?" Kokichi trailed off. 

That's when we heard the silent growl above us.

All of our eyes widened, and we slowly looked up at the ceiling. In the far corner of the room, in the shadows, I spotted a pair of red glowing eyes. They stared at us intently, never looking away. "Uh, d-does anyone else see the creepy pair of eyes in the corner of the ceiling?" Kokichi stuttered. Magane and I nodded. However, in just a matter of seconds....the creature flew out from its spot in the shadows, revealing itself....

"Lilac.....?" I murmured.

"No way, that can't be her, right? She's this cute, pink little girl. This...." Magane said. "Lilac is also a Shadow Meister, wasn't she? Just like her sister. You all saw Violet's creepy form before, right?" Kokichi said. I shivered, remembering glaring at her red eyes as she yelled at me. "Yes, I definitely remember...." I said. Magane smiled.

"Wait this means Lilac is here, alive! She can help us!" she said. Lilac blinked, and fluttered a little closer. The two black tails swung back and forth slowly. "Uh....is anyone else a little concerned that she doesn't recognize us?" Kokichi asked. "What do you mean?" I asked.

"Well, anyone notice how she's staring at us...." Kokichi said. I looked back to Lilac. It was true that she was acting strangely. She tilted her head to the side, looking at us curiously. She fluttered closer to us, slowly, almost cautiously. "Y-You don't think she sees us as a threat, do you?" Magane said.

"That...would be bad..." I said. One wrong move to anger Lilac, and she could attack. Kokichi chuckled nervously.

"Hehe, hey Lilac. Remember us? Your friends! How ya doin-"

Her high pitch screech made us flinch. Because she flinched, Magane lost a bit of her footing. She yelped as she began to slide and almost fall into the pit. Kokichi reached out and caught her wrist, but that caused him to lean forward and over the edge. I barely had the time to grab his other wrist, spread my legs out to the very corners of the frame to keep myself propped, and use my free hand to place onto one wall. Both of them were heavier than I anticipated, but I didn't dare let go as they dangled above the spikes.

"Yabai, yabai, yabai...." Magane said in a panicked tone. 

"Well gee, can things possibly get any worse?!" Kokichi snapped. Lilac growled slightly and fluttered closer to Kokichi, making him gulp. "I was wrong! Pissed off Shadow Meister is coming closer!" he cried. "Why doesn't she recognize us?!" Magane said, struggling to hold onto Kokichi's hand. 

"Violet said something about this before. About when she becomes angry, that she can become blind. Perhaps she got upset by Crona's betrayal, or Medusa's manipulation, and she took this form." I said. "Okay, but how do we snap her out of it?!" Kokichi said. Lilac fluttered a bit higher, and was now staring at me. My eyes widened as we locked gazes. Those red eyes of hers held deep suspicion.

"Dammit...how can I get her to recognize us? There must be something I can show her, or say to her. But what?" I thought. 

".....Lilac, please, you have to listen," Lilac tilted her head, so I seemingly have her attention, "I don't know what to do to open your eyes. To have you see that we are your friends. All I can say is that it's truly us! We want to escape this place with you! We still continue to hold onto hope, just like you do! Onegai, you have to see. It's me, Lilac! It's Kanato!" I shouted. My foot only slipped the tiniest bit, which was enough for me to almost slip entirely. My grip onto Kokichi's wrist was getting weaker, and I can feel them slipping from my grasp.

"No matter what, Lilac, you're always gonna be that sweet girl. The same girl that treated everyone with kindness, even me. The same girl who always wanted to be by my side, not matter how poorly I treated you. The same, innocent girl....with those large eyes, and that warm heart...and I'll always be just me." I said. I looked up at her.

"Lilac, open your eyes! Onegai!" I cried.

For a split moment....Lilac's eyes widened...

Then I felt my foot slip completely, and I began to lean forward. The three of us began to scream as we were about to fall further into the pit, towards the spikes.....but then suddenly darkness completely surrounded us. It all happened so fast. As if we were suddenly riding a roller coaster, we zoomed through the darkness. To where, I wasn't sure. But we were going somewhere. 

Before I knew it, the darkness disappeared and light over took my sight. That's when the three of us found ourselves in the hallway of the third floor, looking around in shock. "What the....we're back here?" I murmured.

"WE'RE ALIVE!!!" Magane and Kokichi cheered, jumping into the air. 

I looked behind me, jumping slightly to see Lilac standing behind us. Kokichi and Magane did the same. Lilac was still in her different form. But she was acting differently. Her eyes looked....happier. I couldn't tell exactly, but the way her cheeks were shaped showed she should be smiling. Suddenly she rushed forward and hugged me tightly. I froze before smiling.

"Lilac! You remember us!" I hugged her tightly, cautious not to crush her giant wings. It made me really happy to see she was herself again, and that she was alive.

"More than that, you saved us! Arigato!" Magane said. Kokichi nodded. "Yeah, no kidding. I thought we were dead meat for a moment. Although, I gotta ask...how long you gonna stay in that form?" he asked. Lilac giggled, then she suddenly glowed brightly, and in a matter of seconds she was back to normal. 

"Alright, well now we're all reunited, we need to get the hell outta here!" Magane said. "Yes, we should hurry, before Medusa finds us again." I said. However to my surprise, Lilac shook her head. The three of us looked at her with puzzled expressions. 

"Huh? What is that supposed to mean?" Kokichi asked. Lilac clenched her fists tightly, and gave us a determined expression.

"Crona. We can't leave him behind." she stated. "What?! You still wanna find him?! Why?! Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't he the guy that stabbed us in the back?!" Kokichi said. I frowned. 

"No....it wasn't his fault," Kokichi looked at me puzzled, but I explained, "I saw it on his face. He may be hypnotized or under some sort of spell, but that doesn't change the fact that he's afraid of Medusa. Medusa is using his fear to control him. We can't leave Crona behind to suffer like that. Otherwise, they might capture another group of people like us, and do another killing game." Kanato stated. Kokichi frowned.

"Then the despair would happen all over again...." he said.

"And Crona will be here to bare it, all by himself." Magane said. I nodded.

"We promised we'd get out of here. With everyone....that includes Crona."
