I looked down at Lilac, a bit shocked. She gripped onto me tightly, crying softly in my arms. I was a little speechless, unsure of what to say. But I knew I couldn't hold onto her like this forever, even if I really wanted to. I let out a small sigh, and gently tried to push her away, but she wouldn't let go.

"I'm really sorry, Lilac.....I don't want to leave. I don't want to leave you especially. But, you won't be alone. You'll have the others here. Kanato, Magane, Kokichi, and Crona too. You guys can all look after each other, and you can escape together." I said. I gently grabbed Lilac's chin and tilted it up, so she could look up at me.

"Do you think you an do one last favor for me, Lilac? Do you think you can send me off with a smile?" I asked. A few more tears streamed down her cheeks, but after a moment she wiped them away, and put on a sad smile. I felt a few tears stream down my own cheeks. This was the last time I was gonna see her smile.

"Thank you, Lilac." I said. Kanato walked over to us, and gently placed a hand on Lilac's shoulder. He didn't have to say anything for her to understand. She gave in and gently released me, backing away, still attempting to keep up that smile she had on. Everyone else couldn't even bare to look at me. I wiped my eyes and sighed.

"Okay, I'm bored, can we please get on with it already?" Monokuma asked impatiently. I nodded.

"Yes. I am ready for whatever punishment you present to me." I stated. "Finally! Then I guess its punishment time! Let's give it everything we've got!" he stated. He took out his rubber hammer, and the giant red button once again appeared. I silently gave one last wish within my heart before he slammed his hammer down onto the button. It was a useless wish that would never come true, but I wished for it anyway.

I wish I could see Ulric again, just one more time....

Then I could hear the hammer slam down onto the button. I could hear a trap door open above me, and something cold and metal latched around my throat. I gasped out, suddenly feeling anxious from the tightness. The others stared at me wide eyed, waiting anxiously for what came next. I decided to say one last thing. 

"Goodbye...."

Then I let out a choked sound as I was suddenly yanked out of the room, and away from everyone....

Lilac's P.O.V.

Instinctively, I reached out for Violet, but she was already gone through the trap door. "No....she's gone." Magane said. "Not quite. In case you've forgotten, you can see her execution in the next room, as usual." Monokuma replied. We all looked at each other, and reluctantly went into the other room. None of us wanted to watch Violet die, but it somehow felt wrong to just leave her be. 

So we went into the room, and watched from behind the caged fences. My eyes widened. Violet was strapped down onto an electric chair, right in the middle of the room.

"What in the....this can't be real. He wouldn't do this to her, would he?" Magane said. ".....Monokuma has no heart. He cares not how much pain we are in. The whole point of this entire killing game is to feel despair." Kanato stated. I hugged Kanato tightly, watching wide eyed at Violet. Despite her condition, she kept a calm expression on her face. We watched for a moment, waiting to see what would come next. And then....

Violet's scream pierced the room. 

I turned my head away, unable to watch anymore. My grip on Kanato's shirt tightened, and he wrapped an arm around my shoulder so he could hold me closer. It was only a few moments before Violet's screams stopped.....and I knew she was gone.

My sister was gone. 

Tears streamed down my cheeks as I cried softly, unable to accept what had just happened. At this point, Kanato dropped his beloved Teddy, and hugged me tighter. I just continued to cry into his chest, wishing that this entire thing was all just some sort of nightmare. Magane had fallen onto her knees and cried into her hands, swearing under her breath how all of this was unfair. Crona just sat down and cried into his knees. And Kokichi....wasn't able to say a word.

Kanato gently stroked my hair, but he didn't give me any words of comfort. No kind promises. No hope. Because the truth was.....nobody knew what was to come next. 

There were only five of us left. 

Just what hope was left to hold onto?

Monokuma later went to his own quarters, which were hidden from the other students of the academy. Complete with a king sized bed and many TV screens, from where he can watch from the security cameras. 

"Geez, Kokichi sure had some balls to betray me. I guess I can't use him anymore. Not that it matters. There's only a small handful of those brats left anyway. Shouldn't be much longer before they all die. I just wonder who I'll pick next for the next killing game once they're all dead." Monokuma thought aloud, taking a sip of his tea. Soon he heard a knock at his door.

"Hmm? About time!" he snapped, the door slowly opened, and Monokuma greeted his guest with a wide, evil grin. 

"So, I assume everything is going to plan?"

Oh man, did things get messed up in this chapter! It seemed so emotional! So tragic! So dark! So incredibly hopeless!

How are these kids ever gonna survive? Or will they survive at all? Oh, and what was with that cut scene with Monokuma (ahem, myself)? Who was he talking to? Do we truly know everything to is to know about this academy? Well, we'll just have to see in the next chapter. And of course, let's not forget the lives we have lost today. Poor Ulric and Violet, the loves interests of this story. Let us take a moment to remember them, shall we?

Who's to say what comes next in this tragic tale?! You guys think there's any hope left? Well, we'll see next time.....in our final chapter. That's right, this story is coming to a close. So let's hope for a happy ending for our survivors! Or a bad ending. Who knows?
