"Huh, so that was your motive? I wonder, since you didn't kill anyone, are these two brothers of yours still alive?" Kokichi thought aloud. Kanato looked away, fists clenched. Lilac continued to look at him with a blank expression. I honestly couldn't tell how she felt now that she knew more about Kanato.

"Any who, lets move onto the next one. Magane, may I read your folder?" Kokichi asked, setting Kanato's tablet aside. "Why bother asking? I'm sure you'd read it either way." Magane said. "I told you, this whole thing won't mean anything if you don't reveal us your secrets willingly." Kokichi replied. 

"Fine, whatever." Magane said. Kokichi smiled and took out another folder, opening it up. 

"Magane Chikujoin. Hmm....odd. Apparently you were a villain in a manga series, but I guess someone named Altair brought you back to life and into the real world. But since then, you've caused some serious damage, haven't you? You even managed to kill some people, including your own creator. I guess that's it all it says though. Lame." Kokichi read aloud. 

"A character from a manga?" I murmured. 

"Tsudaiyo. There were many other characters just like me, being brought to life from their stories. Video games, manga, anime, and other things. This girl named Altair had brought us all back from those stories to recreate our own story." Magane explained. She said it so easily too. I guess all that Kokichi read was the truth.

"Alright, then let's take a peek at your motive video." Kokichi said, taking it out. He turned it on and the video played, revealing Monokuma on the screen.

"Magane Chikujoin. It's a pleasure to have someone as wicked as yourself on this killing game. However, I suppose its time to twist that little mind of yours with a good motive to kill. Now, normally I do something more personal then just a reward. However, from what I understand, you are a girl that likes to earn a bit of cash. If you can kill someone in this place and get away with it, I'll award you with $10 million. Sound good? Then get to work, babe!" with that said, the video shut off. 

"Huh, that's it?" Kokichi said. Magane shrugged.

"I won't lie, I like a bit of cash. I was rich back in my world. Course, I stole any money I had back then." Magane said. "What? What exactly did you do? Kill a millionaire and took his riches?" Ragnarok said, chuckling slightly. Magane blinked, then looked away sheepishly and whistled, making all our jaws drop.

"You killed a millionaire and took his riches?!" Ulric said. "I was simply trying to get comfy quickly." Magane replied.

"Okay, this whole thing was boring. I'm moving onto the next guy. So, Ulric," Kokichi said with a smile, "how bout it? Feel like sharing your deepest secrets with us?" Ulric narrowed his eyes, but he looked away. Kokichi smiled wider, and waited patiently for Ulric's reply. However, Ulric didn't respond. I could see him body shake slightly.

"Ulric, I can't continue without your permission." Kokichi said.

".....fine." Ulric said.

"Great!" Kokichi quickly took out Ulric's file and opened it up.

"Ulric. No last name I guess. Huh, apparently he's a fairy tale villain that was brought to life. Specifically from Little Red Riding Hood. Oh, I see, your the Big Bad Wolf, aren't ya?" Kokichi said, looking to Ulric with a raised brow. However, Ulric didn't respond. The boy merely chuckled and kept reading. "Anyway, you and two other fairy tale villains were brought to life to collect negative energy from humans so you could revive your Master, Emperor Nogo. To do so, you hurt a lot of people to do so. Including this group of superhero girls who fought you all the time. Aww, and they were just middle schoolers. That isn't cool, Ulric." Kokichi said.

Ulric continued to remain silent. The look on his face showed shame and guilt all across it. None of this was making him better.

"Alright, now I'm very curious of what motive video you have, seeing your reaction to it earlier," Kokichi knelt down and grabbed the tablet Ulric had dropped. By this point Ulric backed away from all of us, and leaned against the wall, as if to try and support himself. Kokichi turned on the tablet and the video turned on, showing Monokuma once again on the screen.

"Ulric, the Big Bad Wolf yourself. Good to see you. Well, let's just get right into your motive, shall we?" Suddenly, a girl was shown on the screen. She wore a white and blue school uniform, and had bright pink hair in twirled pigtails. "I think you recognize this little cuties, don't ya? Remind me, this is one of your enemies right? She's a part of that weird superhero team you fight. Now, what's that team called.....the Glitter Force. Yeesh, you came from a weird world." 

"But anyway, I think eventually you became friends with that group, didn't ya? This girl in particular. So, it would be a shame if anything happened to her~" Suddenly, the picture of the girl disappeared from the screen. And a loud ear pitching scream rang out, making all of us jump. It was definitely a girl's scream, most likely that same girl. The moment the scream rang out, Ulric flinched, and covered his ears tightly. His eyes shut tightly as he sunk down to the floor, sitting against the wall. I looked to him in concern.

"Ulric...."

"Oh wait, something already did happen to her. But hey, maybe you could be the hero for once. If you kill somebody and get away with it, I'll spare her. Sound like a deal? Let's just see what happens, alright?" with that said, the video shut off. The moment it did, Kokichi laughed.

"Nee-heehee, oh man, so you were actually friends with your enemy? Wow. And now she's probably dead. That too bad~" he said, tossing the tablet into the crate. I went to Ulric, and knelt down beside him, placing a hand on his shoulder. However he wouldn't look at me.

"Ulric? Are you okay?" I asked.

".....her name was Emily," he slowly removed his hands from his ears, but one hand instead grabbed at his head, "she changed me....she changed me into a better person. And after all I had put her through, and finally making amends, she has to suffer through that damn bear's torment....all because of me..." Ulric muttered. A shadow cast over his eyes, but I saw a single tear slide down his cheek.

My eyes widened. I didn't even stop to think before I wrapped my arms around him, hugging him tightly. I didn't know what else to do. I couldn't tell him she was alright, and any hopeful speeches would be wasted right now. All I could think to say was....

"I'm sorry...." A moment passed before he gently pushed me away, wiped his eyes, and gave me a reassuring smile.

"Sorry...I'm fine now." he said.

"Alrighty then, let's move on then. Crona, how bout you?" Kokichi asked. Crona looked away, rubbing his arm slightly. "I suppose." he said. Kokichi nodded, taking out his folder and reading it.

"Crona Gorgon. The child of Medusa Gorgon, a witch. Suffered much abuse, torment, and neglect while his mother trained him to become a powerful creature called a Kishin. She even melted a weapon called the Demon Sword and made it into black blood for Crona to wield. But I guess this whole 'experiment' was a failure, cause later you're own mom tried to kill ya. Yikes, someone had mommy issues." Kokichi said. Crona's eyes seemed to have a sad look to them.

"I-It wasn't my best time....but, I made a great friend. Someone who means a lot to me, and made me better." Crona said, smiling.

"Huh. I wonder what your motive video could be- what the?" Kokichi took out Crona's tablet....but it was badly cracked. There was even a hole in the middle.

"Aww geez, someone busted it! Crona, do you still have your other tablet? We can look at that one." Kokichi said. "Uh, I-I would....if I hadn't already accidentally broken it..." Crona murmured. Kokichi facepalmed, and let out a long sigh.

"Seriously? Dammit. Oh well, guess we're moving on. I guess all that's left is the twins. Violet and Lilac." I froze. It was already our turn?! No, it couldn't be. I looked to Lilac. She seemed unphased, and didn't seem to mind. "Violet, Lilac, you guys mind if I take a peek?" Kokichi asked, pulling out two more folders. Lilac only replied with a small shrug. Then Kokichi's gaze moved to me. 

"What about you, Violet?" I looked away, unsure of how to respond. How could I just let him read my secrets. No doubt that event is gonna be in those files. It was on my motive video after all. I really prefer if he didn't do this. After all, I lied from the very beginning, about not killing anyone before. If they find out....it won't be pretty.

"I-I..." I murmured. "Come on Violet, say something. I need an answer." Kokichi said.

"Violet," I looked to Magane, who smiled at me, "We're all you're friends here. Well okay, Kokichi is just kinda a bastard, but the rest of us here are your friends. Whatever secrets you're trying to hide, that's not gonna change anything." she stated. I looked at her surprised. "Magane...." I murmured. "She's right. Besides, it is not like we have any right to judge, after all we have done." Kanato stated. 

Crona and Lilac both gave me reassuring expressions with friendly smiles. I felt a hand on my shoulder, and looked behind me, seeing Ulric smiling at me. He nodded, his way of saying it would be okay. After a bit of hesitation, I sighed and looked to Kokichi.

"....go ahead then." I said. With that said, Kokichi happily opened both folders and read the information concerning Lilac and myself.

"Lilac and Violet Tsukune. Both of you seem to be seventeen years old. Let's see, you both are Shadow Meisters, creatures that can control the shadows of other people, items, and creatures. Can form them into weapons or other things if needed. Oooh, this part is interesting~ I guess you guys had some issues with your parents, who were also Shadow Meisters. I guess you guys suffered some serious abuse and neglect from them." I clenched my fists as he read, flash backs appearing from my mind. Horrible flash backs of those terrible times. My body began to shake. Lilac looked at me concerned and gently held my hand.

"Seems like one night, Lilac accidentally broke a vase, and it sent your parents over the limit. Yeesh, they were ready to kill ya for it. But....good, reliable Violet saved the day, by killing they're own parents." Crona and Magane both gave silent gasps, attempting to avoid being noticeably shocked. However, I could tell easily. 

"And you were only 13 when that happened. So I guess you guys went into hiding since then, avoiding the police since then. The whole experience seemed to have deeply traumatized Lilac to be silent for many years to come. Aww, you poor thing~" Kokichi said, looking up at my sister. She didn't respond, but rather just returned his wicked smile with a blank expression.

"Are we done now?" Magane asked.

"No, we still gotta watch their videos." Kokichi said, taking out our tablets. He turned mine on first, and the video played.

"Heyo, Monokuma here! Nice to see ya, Violet Tsukune! Great to have ya here in this exciting killing game! I imagine you must be terrified of this whole thing! Especially since not only are you in danger, but your precious sister as well! Well anyway, that's not the point of this video, so let's move along shall we? Tell me, are your pants on fire? Cause man have you said a huge lie!"

"I'm talking about yesterday, dummy! Everyone admitted whether they've commit murder or not....but you lied. You said you haven't killed before, riiiiight~? I know all about that little event that happened when you and Lilac were just wittle girls. You two were so precious....so how could you have done something so horrible? You sly bitch, we're you just pretending to be kind to them this whole time? Not only that, but you traumatized your own sister into silence, even after all these years. I wonder what the terror on Lilac's face looked like? Let's just see, shall we?"

Monokuma disappeared from the screen....and the real video took place.

Lilac, huddled in the corner, not wanting to hurt our parents. Both mother and father were in their true forms, skin black as night and hair white as snow. Their red eyes glowed brightly as they advanced towards Lilac, who was covered in bruises and small scratches. I could see it in her eyes though. She refused to fight her own parents, even when shadows started to come closer towards her. I couldn't let them hurt her.

From behind, I attacked my own parents, with their own shadows for that matter. While their back were turned to me, I rose their shadows and formed them into spears....that stabbed right through their heads. Lilac's eyes widened as their blood dripped onto the floor, and their bodies fell onto the floor with a thud. My sister stared up at me, while I bore my true form. I couldn't manage to find any words back then. Not even a single apology. 

Magane, Crona, Kanato, Ulric, everyone....watched in pure shock and horror at the scene before them. Even Kokichi was a bit taken aback from what he saw, but he quickly recovered and smiled, turning the tablet off.

"My my my, that was quite the video. I can't blame ya though. It's only fair you wanna keep a secret like that. Or one of us would feel scared and kill ya off immediately." Kokichi said.

I said nothing. Kokichi looked to Lilac's tablet, and turned it on. "I wonder what Lilac's motive video was then." he said as Monokuma appeared onto the screen.

"Ugh, geez, finally the last damn video, for uh....Lilac Tsukune. Listen, I'm getting kinda tired. I just got done with sixteen motive videos. I'm done. You're motive is gonna be the same as your sister's. Whatever motive she has is gonna be the same. That simple. Later." then the video shut off. Kokichi snickered.

"Hmph, lazy bear." he muttered.

"Are you saying you'd rather she have a loved one threatened? Or have a dark secret? Or even a life threat?" Ulric snapped. "Well yeah, duh, otherwise its no fun." Kokichi replied. "Fuck you, asshole! What was the real point of this? Was it to really to get us to trust each other, or exploit our most vulnerable secrets and worries for your entertainment?!" Ulric growled.

"Why don't we say it was both reasons?" Kokichi replied. Ulric growled. "You god damn little...grrrgh! Fuck this! I getting out of here, before I strangle a certain rat." he said before stomping out of the door, cursing under his breath. I frowned as he left, feeling a bit sad. This whole thing did seem rather unhelpful. It just brought everyone down. Was that Kokichi's plan though?

*the next morning*

Needless to say, I didn't sleep well. I was tossing and turning the entire night, thinking about yesterday. My head hurt from all the stress. All this disappointment, unhappiness, and despair....it was becoming unbearable. Honestly, I'm not sure how much more I can take....

Lilac and I silently walked towards the cafeteria, and went inside. "Morning guys." I said. Everyone looked up, and gave their greetings....except Kokichi, who wasn't present with us.

"Where's Kokichi?" I asked. "Hmm, oh, he said he wanted to go look at more of those folders and motive videos. The ones of the people who are dead now. That sick punk...." Ulric muttered. I frowned. "I know he's not the easiest to deal with. But being angry with him isn't going to help anything. So we gotta do our best to get along." I said. 

"Yeah? Why don't you tell him that?" Ulric muttered. "Should we leave him alone? Nothing good has ever come out of anyone being alone." Crona said. 

"Maybe Crona is right. We should check on him." Magane said. "Hmph, frankly I don't care if he's dead or not. All he's ever been is a pain in the neck. Why should we bother him?" Kanato stated, stabbing at his food with a fork. "Come on guys, let's go see him. I wanna see if he's okay." I said. I don't care how much of a jerk he is. I don't want anyone else to die.

So we all went all the way up to the fifth floor, again leaving most of us panting from the many flight of stairs. "I swear....that bastard better be dead....or I'm killing him....for making us climb up here." Ulric panted out. We went straight to the Our True Selves room, but when we looked inside, he wasn't in there. 

"Huh, he's not here?" I said. "I don't doubt he's in the theater room. He really liked it yesterday. Maybe he decided to watch a movie." Magane said. "Then let's go check it out." Ragnarok stated. We did exactly that. We all walked down the hallway, and Ulric opened the door for us to go inside. Upon arriving, we didn't see anything at first.

"Huh, maybe he's not in here after all." Crona said. "Let's check another floor." Kanato said. Everyone began to turn to walk away. I did the same....but I caught something from the corner of my eye. And it made my heart drop to my stomach instantly.

A single stain of dark red near one of the chairs. 

I immediately ran towards the front of the room. "Huh, Violet wait-" I didn't listen to Ulric. I kept running. And when I turned the corner....I saw it....
