"Whelp, that about wraps up all the rules of the Fun Zone! Have fun kids!" Monokuma chimed before disappearing. The large Buffoon chuckled before turning and walking away, heading down the hallway. When it was out of sight, Kanato sighed.

"Ugh, I suppose there was nothing on this floor that was of any use. This is starting to feel like a pattern. Someone is murdered, we solve the case, as we are welcomed to a new another floor. The whole ordeal seems pointless." he stated.

"Indeed. I am quite disappointed with what we've discovered. There didn't seem to be anything that could help us escape." Near said. "Well, I mean my group and I did find another staircase leading up, but it was blocked off." Crona said.

"And how is that supposed to help?! There's no point in bringing that up if we can't even go up it!" Mello snapped. Crona flinched, looking away shyly.

"I-I was just trying to help....its not something we can just ignore, right?" Crona said. "But how would we get into it? It's against school rules to go into areas that haven't been unlocked to us, right?" Amaimon said. 

"So in other words, we're fucked." Junko spat. 

"No, I'm sure we'll figure out a way out of here. I already said we're not going to die here, didn't I? There must be a means of escape." Near said. "Yeah, you said the same fucking thing when Zack and Rena were here, and look what happened to them! They both got ripped, and who knows which one of us is next!" Junko snapped. Crona flinched again, shaking slightly as he rubbed his arm nervously.

"Junko...." I said, gesturing to Crona with my head. I imagine he doesn't like to bring up anything about Rena.

"Huh? Aww, is poor wittle Crona still cwying over his crazy girlfriend? Well suck it up, bucko! This isn't some childish game! People die in this place! So deal with it, like the rest of us!" Junko stated. That only made Crona shake more, turning his head away. Lilac gave him a concerned expression and he placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Come on now, that wasn't necessary." I stated. "She's not wrong though," Amaimon stated, "People do die in this place. We can't just expect that we'll all survive in here. In fact, if you ask me, we have every right to be scared of each other. Who knows who will become the next murderer?" Everyone's eyes widened, caught off guard by the demon's words. 

"Damn, I gotta say as a liar, I haven't heard anyone get down to the cold, hard truth like you have. Bravo!" Kokichi said, giving a small clap. 

"That's enough, Amaimon. Don't say those things. No one else is gonna die! We're all gonna get out of here!" Rin stated. Amaimon looked to his half brother curiously, head tilted. "Hmm? Is that so? And you can guarantee that, little brother?" he said.

"I can! Because I'm not gonna let anyone else die no matter what! I'll put down my own life before anyone else!" Rin stated, placing a hand on his chest and eyes flared with determination.

"Nee-heehee, I guess we'll have to see, won't we?" Kokichi chuckled, wearing a wide grin. I didn't like the atmosphere right now. Everyone was scared and suspicious of each other, and I hated it. It only caused me to look away, feeling helpless. What can I do? How can I take away this tension? Is there anything I can even do?

"Oi! I'm getting bored of this," everyone looked to Magane, who looked at us with a pout and hands on her hips, "Ya know, if we have this whole Fun Zone at our disposal, why don't we take advantage of that? I dunno about you, but that karaoke room seemed like fun. Why don't we have some fun?" Junko lit up and wrapped an arm around Magane's shoulder.

"Hell yeah! I like this girl's thinking! I'm up for some singing! Who's game?" she said. Rin smiled, giving a nod. "You know, that's not a bad idea." he said.

"How is singing with karaoke supposed to help with anything? There isn't anything of use in that room." Near said.

"Look man, things have been kinda stressful lately. Four of our friends have died and its bumming a lot of us now. This may not be an instant solution, but I think we need just a bit of time to distract ourselves. Clear our heads, ya know? And what better way then having a bit of fun?" Rin explained.

"Huh, I never really thought of that. Sounds good to me." Ulric replied. "Hmph, sounds pointless if you ask me. However, I don't believe being alone is a wise idea either, so I suppose I shall watch." Kanato stated, hugging his teddy.

"....whatever. I don't care." Mello stated. "Fine. Doesn't seem boring at least." Amaimon said. "Eh, why not? I might sing a few songs. Or make fun of how terrible all of you are." Kokichi stated. Amaimon just shrugged.

"Lilac? You on board?" Rin asked. Lilac smiled widely and nodded. She looked to Crona, shaking him gently, causing him to snap out of his depressing state and let out a sigh. "I suppose it doesn't sound so bad..." he said. Ragnarok suddenly popped out. "What?! I don't wanna hear a bunch of losers singing horribly! Why don't we go eat something?!" he demanded.

"You ate all our breakfast! How the hell are you still hungry?!" Ulric said. "Near, you gonna come with?" Magane asked. Near narrowed his eyes, seeming hesitant, but eventually he sighed. "I'll watch I suppose." he said. 

"Violet? What about you?" Ulric asked. I looked at him unsure before turning my head away. "I don't know." I murmured. I didn't feel too sure about joining them. I still wasn't sure if I could trust anyone here. After what has happened....how am I supposed to trust anyone here? Granted, Johannes wanted to see his sister and Rena was sick with a strange disease, but that doesn't change the fact that they did kill our friends.....

A hand on my shoulder caused me to look up, seeing Ulric look down at me. "Come on, it might be fun." he said. While my mind was telling me to just decline the invite, something about the way Ulric looked at me with reassurance told me otherwise. The final straw was when Lilac grabbed onto my arm, and she gave me a pleading expression with those big eyes of hers.

The karaoke room was bigger then I had expected. It had more then just a karaoke stand at the far side of the room. It also had a large TV on the wall and even a snack machine nearby. The room itself was completely black, but there were bright pink swirls painted on the wall with glow in the dark paint, giving the room a vibrant aura. There were also two large couches facing each other, with a small table in between them. I would assume that's where most people sit while someone is singing.

"Wow, this is a lot more flashy then I was expecting." Kokichi said. "No kidding! It's pretty cool actually!" Rin said.

"Come on! Come on! I wanna start singing already!" Magane stated. She hopped over to where the couches were and grabbed a microphone off the small table. Then she didn't hesitate to switch on the large TV, where the menu screen popped up. Near and Kanato sat at one of the couches, both looking a bit displeased. I figured this kinda thing wouldn't be in their interest. 

"Hell yeah! Let's do this duet style!" Junko stated, picking up another microphone and stood beside Magane. 

"What are you going to sing first?" Amaimon asked, leaning against the wall. "We'll have to see. There's a ton of songs on this thing. I can't decide!" Magane said. Kokichi plopped on the couch across from Kanato and Near, leaning back and placing his hands behind his neck. "Just don't do some lame girly song or whatever. I don't need to hear that crap." he stated.

"Barf!" Junko and Magane said in unison, sticking out their tongues and wrinkling their noses. Magane kept going through the selections before Junko perked up. "Wait wait wait! That one!" she stated, pointing at the screen. Magane glanced at it and smiled.

"Mz. Hyde by Halestorm! Yes! Perfect! Perfect!" she stated. "I heard of that one. Isn't that an American song? Some sort of alternative rock song right?" Rin said. 

"You bet it is! And I gotta tell ya, it perfectly describes who I am! Let's do it girl!" Junko stated. "Definitely! Here we go!" Magane stated. She pressed play, and the girls began to sing.

The two girls sang so powerfully, nailing every lyric to the bone. Singing together definitely added to the song, and I even found myself nodding my head to the beat. When the song had ceased, everyone looked at them surprised. Lilac immediately began to clap, wearing a wide smile.

"Arigato! Glad you liked it, Lilac." Magane said. "I'm surprised. That actually wasn't terrible. I mean that too, no joke." Kokichi replied. Junko smirked, looking around the room.

"Okay, who's next?" she said. Everyone looked around at each other until Rin shrugged. "Guess I'll go next. Why not?" he said. He stood up and walked to the screen, taking Junko's microphone and searching through the songs. It only took a moment or two for him to find a song.

"Alright, you guys might like this one. Core Pride by Uverworld!" he stated. With that stated he pressed play and began to sing.

I liked how the saxophone played in this song. It was very catchy. And the way Rin managed to catch up to every lyric of the song was incredible, considering the fast paced speed it was at. I was honestly surprised with how good Rin had sounded. When the song ended Rin looked to us. Again, Lilac began to clap, but this time a few others clapped too; Ulric, Amaimon, Junko, Magane, and Crona.

"Not too bad. Nice one, little brother." Amaimon said. Mello looked at Rin, as if wanting to say something, but instead looked away. Ulric nodded. "Yeah, I gotta say, that wasn't what I was expecting." he stated.

"Huh? What's that supposed to mean?" Rin said. Ulric shrugged. "No offense, but I didn't think you'd sing well. That's all." he said, making Rin's jaw drop. "What?! You thought I was gonna suck or something?!" he snapped. 

Magane giggled. "Well...." she said, and that made Rin perk up. "Wait, did everyone think I was gonna suck?!" he snapped. The silence answered Rin's question. "Grrr! You jerks!" he snapped. That made the majority of the group laugh, finding his expression amusing. Even I couldn't help but giggle.

"Hey, at least you didn't stink right? You actually sang pretty good." Ulric said. Rin shot a small glare at him. "Yeah, well I'd like to hear how well you sing, wolfy." he stated, tossing the microphone at him. Ulric easily caught it, a smirk spreading across his face.

"Fine with me."

This continued on for a while. Everyone took turns singing different songs, with most of everyone singing pretty well. I was introduced to a lot of songs I didn't even know. And I was surprised by everyone's participation. The only three that didn't sing yet were Kanato, Near, and Mello. Well, four if you include me. Although I noticed how Mello's eyes kept glancing at the song selections, or how he'd look at the microphone before turning his head away. 

By now, Kokichi had just finished his second song, 'Killer in the Mirror' by Set It Off. Most of us clapped for him, and he chuckled. "Alright, who wants to come up next?" he asked.

"Hmm, who hasn't sung yet?" Magane said. I looked over at Mello, who again whipped his head away from the screen and looked down instead.

"....Mello? Why don't you sing a song?" I asked. That brought all the attention to Mello, who looked more then surprised. "What?" he said. Near, who had mostly ignored us the whole time, suddenly glanced over at his rival with new interest. "Hey yeah, why don't you give it a shot?" Ulric asked. Mello looked away, crossing his arms.

"I'll pass." he stated. "Aw come on! One song won't kill ya! Just try it." Rin said. "Not interested." Mello stated, more sternly this time.

"Pleeeeeeaaaaasssse?!" Junko, Magane, and Kokichi whined in unison. Mello winced. "Eeesh, fine, fine! I'll do it! Just shut the hell up, got it?!" he snapped. Kokichi held out his microphone, which Mello snatched from his hands. Then began to search through the songs. It took him a moment to find one, causing him to furrow his brows. However he perked up when he spotted a song and selected it.

"I'm only gonna do one, got it? So don't even think about asking for anymore." Mello stated. With that Mello started to sing. This time it was a song that I recognize. I think it was called 'Breaking the Silence' by Breaking Benjamin.

We all watched as the slowly came to an end, and Mello finally lowered the microphone. I noticed Near hadn't taken his eyes off Mello the whole time. He seemed shocked, just like the rest of us. Mello looked around the room, a slightly irritated expression on his face forming as we just stared at him.

"What are you looking at?"  he said.

"Mello....that was awesome!" Rin stated. Mello blinked in surprise. "Man, I didn't see that coming! You're really good!" Ulric stated. "Damn straight he's good! Best performance so far!" Junko stated.

"Okay, fess up. You've definitely practiced or something in the past, right? Cause there's no way that was your first time singing!" Kokichi stated. Mello just shrugged. "I don't know what you're talking about." he stated. Lilac looked over at me, giving me a slight pout. I tilted my head.

"Hmm? What's wrong Lilac?" I said. She pointed to me suddenly, making me blink in confusion. I looked to her for a further explanation, but she suddenly grabbed my wrist and pulled me to the front of the room. I yelped before she made me halt in front of the TV.

"Huh?" I said. Lilac grabbed the microphone from Mello and suddenly shoved it in my hands. I looked to Lilac, then the microphone, then my eyes widened. 

"What?! No wait- y-you can't be serious! I-I can't sing!" I stated. "Oh come now, you gotta do a song! I wanna see you sing!" Magane stated. "D-Demo, I-I can't sing...." I said. 

"Come on now, I'm sure you can do at least one song." Kokichi said. "Yeah, I bet you'll do great." Rin said. "Go on. Give it a shot." Ulric said. I looked around at everyone nervously before looking to Lilac, who nodded for me to continue. I let out a sigh before looking to the screen and looking for a song. When I find one I recognize, I select it. It was called 'X-Encounter' by Maon Kurosaki. I let out a nervous breath before I began singing.

Before I knew it, the song swept me away, and I completely forgot that I even had an audience. I just closed my eyes and let my mouth move along with the music. I remember I felt so entranced when I first heard this song at home. I wanted to learn how to sing it, so I practiced until I got it down. Guess all that practice paid off.

When I was finished, I let out a small sigh, then immediately jumped when I heard clapping behind me. I turned around, surprised to see almost everyone was giving me applause. Magane even let out a whistle. "Nice one, Violet!" she called. I blushed brightly, then looked away.

"I-I don't know. I mean, I guess I was alright." I murmured. "You liar! You said you couldn't sing! That was great!" Kokichi stated. "Yeah, no kidding! You trying to hide your potential too, like Mello?" Junko said. Mello rolled his eyes at her comment, but I noticed his lips were twitching, as if trying not to smile.

I couldn't help but smile myself.

Lilac and I yawned as we walked down the hallway. It was definitely nighttime by now, and after three hours of singing and a nice dinner with the rest of the group, we were definitely wiped. Lilac could barely lift one foot after the other. I almost thought I would have to carry her. When we came upon our bedroom door, I opened it for Lilac.

"Come on sleepyhead." I said. Lilac gave me a small nod before going into the room. 

"Hey Violet!" I perked up, looking down the hall to see Kokichi walking this way, with his hands behind his back. I couldn't help but feel alert, so I closed the door slightly, in case he tried to bolt inside after Lilac. "Hey Kokichi. Did you need something?" I asked.

"....I see you're still suspicious of me, considering how you're immediately blocking any path for me to get to Lilac." Kokichi said. I looked at him surprised before narrowing my eyes. 

"Yeesh, you really do give scary glares though. Don't worry, I'm not here to hurt anyone. I just wanna have a friendly talk." Kokichi said with an innocent smile. "A friendly talk? About what, exactly?" I asked. "Let me ask you something; what is your opinion on lies?" Kokichi asked. I blinked, surprised by his question.

"Lies?"

"Mhmm, that's what I said." 

I placed a hand on my chin, thinking over his question. I never really thought of that before. I wouldn't imagine a lot of people have. "Well....I don't really see lies as a good thing. They cause people to hide things and ruin trust within relationships. In a way, they're kinda scary." I said. Kokichi nodded, placing his hands behind his neck and turning to the side.

"Huh, that so? I see. Well, if you don't like lies that much," suddenly he flashed a wicked smile towards me, "then why would you lie to us?"

"Huh?" I said. "You lied to us, didn't you?" Kokichi said. "I...I-I don't understand what you're talking about." I admitted.

"From the very beginning, remember? We all asked each other if we had ever murdered in our home worlds before. Honestly, I was surprised so many people were willing to say that they did. However....you didn't admit you murdered, did you?" Kokichi said. My eyes slowly widened. What....what is he talking about? He can't be talking about....that night, can he?

"Oh and, just a little bit of advice," he said, holding up a tablet, "don't leave your stuff lying around." He handed it over to me. I slowly took it, only further confused.

"What is..." I said.

"Oh this? I'm surprised you don't recognize it. It's the tablets we were given at the beginning of the killing game....the ones with our motive videos. Remember?" Kokichi said. That's when I finslly realized what he meant. He knew. He knew about what I did. From this video...

"D-Did you-" 

"Oh, yeah, I might've taken a peek at your video. But that's your fault for leaving it out in the dining hall." Kokichi stated. ".....what do you plan to do with this info?" I asked. Kokichi blinked before putting on a friendly smile. "Relax, I'm not gonna snitch. Even I have limits." he said. 

"Then what's the point of all this?!" I demanded harshly. "Consider this....a warning. If the others find out what you really did, and what you really are, you'll definitely be looked at differently. Maybe someone will even target you." Kokichi said. He looked to out bedroom door. "Maybe even your sister will-"

I suddenly lunged forward and grabbed Kokichi's scar, feeling my eyes flare red. "If you even think about touching my sister, I'll kill you." I stated. I was almost ready to transform then and there. Kokichi merely blinked before chuckling.

"Nee-heehee, now that's an interesting reaction." he said. I gasped, realizing what I was doing, and immediately released him.

"K-Kokichi....I-I didn't mean to-"

"No point in lying to me now," Kokichi said, turning and waving back, "Goodnight!"

I could only stand there, my head swirling with confused and scared thoughts. Just what....what was he planning?
