After Rena's execution, I couldn't help but isolate everyone from Lilac and myself. They saw my true form. They saw what I really was. And now they'll most likely be suspicious of us. Which could lead to other deadly thoughts to wander into their minds.....

"Lilac, I told you to brush your teeth! I'm not letting your teeth rot over night!" I said to Lilac, who was in our bathroom. She peeked her head out and pouted, puckering her lips. I only placed my hands firmly on my hips.

"You can look at me like that all you want. It's not gonna change anything." I stated. Finally Lilac nodded and went back into the bathroom. I sighed and sat down on the bed, waiting patiently for her to finish. I placed my hand on my forehead, surprised to discover the increasing pain I felt. Most likely a headache. Figures as much, considering all that has happened today....

I felt a light tap on my shoulder, and looked up, seeing Lilac look at me. I quickly put on a smile. "Hey, you done?" I said. Lilac frowned, looked down. I gave her a concerned expression.

"Hey, what's wrong? You okay?" I asked. Lilac didn't respond for a moment before pointing to the door. I haven't allowed her to leave this room since after the execution. I even brought her dinner here so she wouldn't be near the others. I couldn't afford any risks now. It was obvious I can't trust anyone here. 

"No Lilac, you're not going out there." I stated sternly. Lilac pointed again, as if that would make a difference.

"I said no. I'm not letting near those people. You especially don't get to be near Kanato, not after what he did to you!" I stated. Lilac dropped her arm in defeat, but then raised a finger to her chin, and I could see the mischievous glimmer in her eyes. "And don't you even think about sneaking out." I stated. 

Lilac shot a glare at me, but I was too tired to deal with her. I decided to just turn off the light. "Get into bed." I said. I could tell Lilac wanted to argue with me, but her expression softened when she saw my tired eyes, so she crawled under the covers and curled up into a ball, like she usually does. I laid beside her, gently wrapping an arm around her small form.

I started to rub her back softly, knowing this was a way to help her relax and fall asleep. It seemed to work, and I could feel her body ease as she sank into the mattress. My hands instinctively began to travel up her spine, and towards her neck....feeling the bite marks Kanato had made into her skin.

For a brief moment, I could feel my eyes glow red as a small rush of anger returned to me. That bastard. How dare he hurt my sister like this? He has a lot of nerve. I swear, I'm not gonna let Lilac near him ever again, no matter what....

Time skip

I yawned the next morning, carefully stretching my arms out before yawning. I winced when I heard a dinging sound in the school speakers.

"Morning, boys and girls! Today's a fresh new day! So let's give it all we got and get to killing!" Monokuma chimed before the speakers turned off. I sighed and sat up, looking beside me. Lilac was still fast asleep, breathing softly as she snoozed. I smiled, admiring her for a moment before carefully climbing out of bed, not wanting to wake her.

"Might as well get ready. I need to get breakfast for Lilac quickly." I thought. I went into the bathroom, deciding to take a shower and brush my hair and teeth. Although, when I went to brush my teeth, I noticed the toothpaste had disappeared. 

"Huh?" I glanced around the counter, but didn't see it anywhere.

"Now where did it go..." I thought aloud, bending down to look through all the cupboards. It took a few good frustrating minutes, but I finally managed to find it and resumed brushing my teeth. After I was done, I opened the bathroom and door and stepped out, brushing a stran dof hair behind my ear.

"Lilac, come on, you gotta wa-" I stopped dead though upon seeing an empty bed.

"What?!" I snapped my head to the door, seeing it was wide open. "What in the- Lilac! Dammit she did not just leave!" I said. I looked to the bathroom, another realization popped into my head. "The toothpaste...she was last to brush her teeth....so she hid it?! Ugh, she must've needed more time to sneak past me! Lilac I swear...!" I muttered.

I didn't think twice before bolting out of our room and hurrying down the hallway. I was in the bathroom for maybe twenty minutes, so how did she get past me so quickly?! Crap, did she go back to see the others?! I can't let her near them! I soon came upon the cafeteria, pushing the doors open.

"Lilac?!" I cried out. Immediately, all eyes were on me. It seemed like everyone was present....except for Lilac and Magane.

"Where is Lilac?" I said sternly, making sure everyone had heard me. "Yeesh, what's with the sudden attitude?" Junko muttered.

"Don't make me repeat myself." I stated. "It's fine. She's in the kitchen with Magane. She's not alone, so she can't hurt herself in anyway. Promise." Rin said. "Good, now I can take her back to our room." I stated, marching my way over towards the kitchen.

"What? Why would you do that?" Amaimon asked. I paused for a moment before turning to face everyone. "Well, it seems obvious that I can't trust anyone here. There have already been two murders, and from what I've seen, that trail isn't going to stop any time soon, especially with this specific crowd." I stated.

"Awww, now that's mean. How could you say such things? We would never hurt anyone~" Kokichi said, looking at me innocently with the big puppy eyes. But I sent a cold glare to him. "Oh yes, cause I can totally believe a liar such as yourself." I said.

"Neeheehee, that's true. I could be lying, couldn't I?" Kokichi said.

"Shut up, you're gonna make my head hurt," Rin stated, then looked over to me, "listen, I get it. It sucks that these murders happened. But you have to understand-"

"No! Don't! I don't want to hear it! You couldn't even begin to understand me or Lilac! So act like you know me!" I snapped. Rin looked at me surprised, seemingly taken aback. "You don't have to snap like that." Ulric stated. "I don't care right now! My main priority right now is to protect Lilac! So do not get in my way! None of you will ever understand!" I stated.

"There seems to be a number of things about you that are a mystery," Kanato suddenly perked up, raising a brow to me, "in fact, after seeing your anger yesterday, I wonder if you're even human." 

My eyes widened, and I pointed at him, feeling my anger return.

"You of all people don't get to be near Lilac! No matter what!" I snapped. My outburst startled the majority of the table, causing most of them to flinch, except for Near, who only narrowed his eyes at me. I opened my mouth to say more, but I suddenly felt a tap on my shoulder from behind. I whirled around, only to be greeted with a sweet aroma in the air.

I looked down, seeing that the source of the smell came from a steaming plate of cookies, which Lilac held out to me with a smile. I blinked, taken aback.

"Lilac?" I said. Magane popped out from behind her. "Ohiyo! (Good morning!) Lilac and I baked some instant cookies we found in the kitchen, and wanted to share them with everyone else." she said.

"Huh? You guys....made cookies?" I said. Lilac nodded and trotted over to the table, plopping in between Amaimon and Kanato. Everyone stared at the cookies with wide eyes, licking their lips. All except for Mello and Near, who seemed to have little to no interest.

"What the hell prompted you into making cookies first thing in the morning?" Mello said. Magane looked to him and placed her hands on her hips, giving a slight pout. 

"When is there ever a bad time to have cookies? Don't give me any attitude, or I won't let you have any." she stated. 

Kanato eyed the cookies for a moment before looking away and poking at his breakfast with his fork, as if resisting. Amaimon however didn't even both to hold himself back as he reached out for a cookie, but Rin gave him a glare. "Dude, don't just grab them like that. You could at least ask first." he muttered.

"Hmm? Why? I want one now." Amaimon said calmly, completely oblivious to Rin's point. Lilac grabbed a cookie from her plate, and held it out to Kanato with a friendly smile. However Kanato turned his head away, seemingly in disgust.

"Get that foul thing away from me." he stated. Lilac blinked, seeming disappointed. But then she shrugged and turned to Amaimon, opening her mouth and pointing to it. Amaimon blinked, seemingly puzzled. I was too actually. What did she want him to do?

However as if a light bulb lit up in is head, Amaimon perked up, then he opened his mouth. That was when Lilac popped a cookie into his mouth, making everyone stare at them wide eyed, especially Kanato, who's face immediately turned red.

"L-Lilac....!" I said. Amaimon happily ate the cookie whole and munched away, humming in satisfaction. Afterwards he swallowed, licking the crumbs off his lips.

"Huh, it didn't taste bad. Thanks." he said. The way he spoke was kinda monotone, but he didn't look away from Lilac either. My sister put on a wide smile, seemingly pleased. Kanato, who sat right beside her, was practically steaming. I thought he was gonna burst a blood vessel. He seemed....jealous? But I'm not sure why.

"How dare you give that fiend sweets but not me?!" Kanato spat. "Hey, news flash, she did offer you one first." Ulric stated. Kanato blinked, as if realizing his mistake, but then he huffed. 

"W-Well I change my mind." he stated. Lilac looked at him surprised, but that was quickly replaced with a smile. She grabbed another cookie from the table and held it out to Kanato. The vampire boy eyes widened, seemingly caught off guard. Lilac opened her mouth and pointed to it. Kanato's face seemed to get even more red, and for a moment he looked away. But eventually he did turn to face her, and opened his mouth just enough to bite into the cookie.

Lilac gently placed half the cookie in his mouth, and he bit into it with his fangs. I couldn't help but feel slight anxiety as I watched this scene. I didn't trust Lilac with that boy. She shouldn't be near him. 

Kanato munched on the cookie, his expression shifted to surprise, then he swallowed. "Huh....that was surprisingly not horrible." he said. Lilac smiled, then she reached out and grabbed another cookie, munching on it immediately. As she did she held out the rest of the cookie to Kanato, who looked away while taking it with his hand.

"Aaaaand suddenly I feel like I'm in some sort of stupid romance anime." Kokichi muttered with a bored expression.

"Laaaaame." Junko whined, leaning back in her chair. Magane sat at the table, then looked at me. "Oi, you gonna eat or what?" she said. I blinked, realizing why I came here in the first place. I turned my head away.

"Pass. Come on Lilac, we should head back to our room." I stated. Lilac firmly shook her head and continued to munch on the cookies with Amaimon, who was practically inhaling them. 

"Lilac." I said. She ignored me, enjoying where she was. "Violet," I looked to Magane, who patted a seat beside me, "Come on, sit with us. We don't bite." she stated. I narrowed my eyes at her before glancing at everyone else. Out of everyone, Rin, Ulric, and Crona held the most pleading. As if silently telling me we can trust them. I sighed in defeat, plopping down beside Magane.

"Fine...." I murmured. Crona looked at me surprised, then smiled. "Glad you could eat with us." he said. I looked at him before smiling. He seemed harmless at least. I wonder....if he's okay. After Rena's execution, I remember that he wouldn't stop crying....

"Can I eat something already?! I'm starving!" The sudden voice made everyone freeze. Crona looked especially alarmed, then he turned his head away. "What the hell was that?" Mello said, immediately looking around in full alert mode. Near raised a brow. "I don't believe we've heard that voice before." he stated. I noticed Crona was whispering something to himself, but again the voice broke out.

"What?! No I'm not gonna shut up anymore! You've kept me dormant for days! I want to eat!" said the voice. It was definitely a male voice, although it sounded a bit high pitched and squeaky, somewhat like a child.

"Shhh!" Crona hissed under his breath. Ulric looked to him and raised a brow. "Crona, was that you?" he asked.

Crona flinched as everyone brought their attention to him. He opened his mouth to say something, but....then something black emerged from Crona's back, making everyone look at him wide eyed.

"What the fuck is that thing?!" Junko exclaimed, immediately standing from her seat. Crona finally let out a sigh of defeat. "This....this is Ragnarok." he said. 

"What the hell is he?! Did he...come out from inside you?!" Rin said. "U-Um....yes..." Crona stuttered. "Okay okay, enough with the questions. I'm hungry!" Ragnarok stated. The little black...thing, suddenly opened his mouth which was actually large and had a large, red tongue. That made everyone stand up and back away a little.

"What the- that thing has a mouth?!" Mello said. Ragnarok began to sweep his tongue across the table, catching any food that was vulnerable to the table, including Lilac's cookies. "Holy shit, holy shit....." Rin muttered as all our food continued to be consumed.

"Ragnarok! Stop that! That food isn't yours!" Crona stated. Ragnarok finally swallowed all the food and licked his lips before closing his mouth. "Too bad, so sad! They should've eaten faster." he stated. 

"Ahem, Crona," Near stated, gaining his attention, "I believe that an explanation is needed." Crona let out a sigh before nodding.

"T-This is R-Ragnarok. Y-You could say he m-my partner. It's uh....i-its a long story. B-but, he's technically a D-Demon Sword that was melted down and infused w-with my blood..." Crona explained. "A....Demon Sword? But, he doesn't look like a sword." I said. "Ha! You haven't seen anything yet, babe," Ragnarok stated, then looked down at Crona, "Come on, let's show'em!" he said.

Crona looked hesitant, but nodded. He held out one hand, and suddenly Ragnarok's form sorta melted. It began to form a black swirl around Crona's hand....until a long, black sword was revealed, and it had a large pair of red lips on it. 

"What in the world....?" Kanato said. "Wohohohohoho! That is sooo coooool!" Kokichi said, eyes gleaming like a child. 

"Ragnarok and I are fused together as one. His strength provides me with black blood. Meaning nothing can cut into me." Crona explained. "Seriously?! No joke?! Damn, that is pretty cool!" Rin said, a smile spreading on his face. 

"Huh, and here I thought you were a complete pussy." Junko said. I couldn't help but cringe. It doesn't seem like anyone here has a filter on their language. "Why would you try to hide this from us?" Mello asked. Crona looked away shyly as Ragnarok returned to his smaller form, resting his head and hands on top of his head.

"I-I didn't know how to tell you. Besides, I didn't know anyone here at first. I was afraid...." he admitted. 

"Yeah, only Rena knew about me. Too bad a girl with such a tasty looking soul died." Ragnarok stated. That made Crona grimace, a shadow casting over his eyes before looking away. I frowned. I guess he hasn't gotten over that yet. Crona....

Lilac stepped towards him, and reached a hand out towards his shoulder....

"Attention students," we all perked up upon hearing Monokuma's announcement, "please gather at the second floor....where you shall be introduced to the third level of the academy."
