Chapter 9

"Are you... worthy to be my master?" the knight asked.

I was still in shock and a whole lot of pain.

"Ma...ster?"

"Yes, are you my master?"

"Uh..."

And this is where I passed out for the 3rd time.

When I woke up, I actually wasn't confused, but I was still in a whole ton of pain. I slowly sat up and discovered that I was in the same bed at Shirō's house. Shirō walked in and saw me sitting up.

"Oh Grace! You're awake! Are you okay? Does anywhere hurt?" Shirō asked.

" Oh. No, I'm fine." I lied. I was still in a lot of pain, but I didn't want to worry him.

"So... who was that white knight?"

"Ah! Yes, since you're feeling better why don't you come out?" Shirō asked.

"Oh. Sure."

I walked into the kitchen with Shirō. Saber and the white knight were talking. I wondered if the white knight was a knight that Saber knew or something. As Saber and the white knight heard me come out they stopped talking.

"Grace, are you alright?" Saber asked.

"Yeah. I'm fine."

"Phew, that's a relief." Saber replied.

Then the white knight turned towards me.

"Master, it's a pleasure to meet you officially. I am a Servant of the Saber class. My name is Bedivere." the white knight said.

I was confused.

"Wait. I'm your Master? And you're of the Saber class? I thought there could be only one per class in the Grail War."

"Yes. This is certainly an unusual Holy Grail War, but I must thank you Grace. You've given me a chance to catch up with one of my closest knights and friends." Saber answered.

"Wait. Bedi...... YOU'RE BEDIVERE ! FROM THE ARTHURIAN LEGENDS! YOU'RE ONE OF THE KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE!"

"Yes Master. I am Bedivere. A member of the Knights of the Round Table, a knight of Camelot." Bedivere replied.

"Well, then thank you Sir Bedivere. I owe you my life."

"Think nothing of it. It was my duty as a knight." Bedivere replied.

Off to the side Shirō whispered to Rin.

"Saber and Sir Bedivere, they're quite alike aren't they?"

"Yeah. They really are." Rin replied.
