End Of An Era.

I finish with the close,
Yet I have no wish to go,
Lest I forget, all that I've been through,
Just me and you.

This book is ending,
Yet you're not leaving,
I have nothing to contend with,
So are we even?

I gave you all I had,
You should go, don't be sad,
We've turned to the last page,
Our sight blurred with a haze.

It's the end of an era,
This is the end,
You can't be nearer,
My dearest friend,
For this is the End Of An Era.
