Try to never let my guard down, complacency is fatal,
Especially to the inner voice, who waits for a way to gain control.
Any weakness, grants access, to the poison of doubt.
Stay vigilant, remain positive, as impossible as that may sound.

This is the ongoing struggle I have with self doubt.  If I let my guard down, in no time at all, that inner me who will point out all of the flaws and feed the doubt, will rear it's head.  I recoginise it and try to stay aware of what triggers it.   This is no easy process but all I can do is try to overcome it.
