After we order the food and make our way home, we see jack sitting in the kitchen as we enter the house.

"Where the hell were you two?" he asked mad we snuck out even though we didn't

"Out. im going on a run im not that hungry anymore" I say while grabbing my headphones and a water bottle before heading out the door.

"Okay" katie says to me before tunring back to jack, crossing her arms waiting for him to speak.

"Where were you?" he repeats himself. 

"what the hell do you care" Katie asks glaring at him.

"Katie what the hell?" Jack asks looking confused and slightly angry. she scoffs

" you do not get to be the mad one here when m the one that got to find out with julia thay our boyfriends are leaving for god knows how long AND DIDNT TELL US" katie gets louder as she talks while throwing her hands into the air.  Jack looks at her with a sad look 

"i-" he starts to explain before katie cuts him off

"no jack, explain to me later because at the moment i want to be alone" she says grabbing our mcdonalds and runs upstairs leaving jack alone in the kitchen.

"What was all the yelling for bro?" Zach says walking in confused. Jack put his elbows on the island and his head in his hands

"Julia and Katie found out were leaving, theyre both mad at us for not telling them. Julia went on a run and katie is mad upstairs. We screwed up bro" Jack says with a sigh 

"oh fuck" zach says sitting next to jack and mirroring his position. I text Katie,

Julia: Katie come meet me at the park.

Katie puts on her running sneakers before heading downstairs. 

"Katie wait-" jack tries to say as katie come down the stairs but she just walks straight past and out the door.

Katie runs to the park a cople minutes down the road to meet me.

"did you find our when theyre leaving? or why they didn't tell us?" I asked 

"No i was too pissed" Katie says as we walk to the park and sit on the grass " julia, what do you think about this?" Katie asks 

"I think zach is hiding something else other than going on tour. For the something different tour he didnt keep it from me" I say looking down 

Katie sighs "what if jack finds another girl on tour?" 

"He's not going to. Jack's not like that" I say 

"Julia look at me, he could do so much better" Katie says looking down

"no he couldnt trust me" I say 

Katie turns to me " he doesnt have to do it. it could just happen, the perfect girl could walk up to him and im forgotten. its happened before."

"The onlt time a perfect girl will walk up to him is when we go to a concert" I try to reassure her.

Katie sighs and looks down once again. " should we head back?" Katie asks 

"yeah I guess" I say hesitently. We both get up and start walking home. on the way we check our phones. Katie has 23 missed class and 67 texts from Jack while I have 68 texts and 25 calls.

"Damn its like they did all of them together. theyre going to be so clingy to us" Katie says laughing slightly

"We're not gonna be able to leave the damn house" I say laughing as we walk up the driveway 

"Im honestly surprised he still cares" I say as we approch the front door. before she could ask why, I open the door. Zach and jack both jump off the couch when they hear the door open and hug us.

"Okay Jack, I get it that you're sorry and i'm upset with you but i'd still like to keep breathing" Katies says with a small giggle looking over to me, seeing zach doing the same thing to me. 

"How did you guys find out?" Jack asked after they finally let us go.

"Not from you guys" I say looking down, refusing to make eye contact with zach.

"Babe listen i'm sorry-" zach starts 

"Sorry for what?" My head snaps up as I ask "Sorry for not telling me or sorry that I found out?" 

Katie looks at me with a sad look and nods upstairs as she says "lets go upstairs"

"Yeah sure" I say, my eyes looking back at the floor. Katie grabs my hand and we quietly make our way past our boys to find Jonah, Corbyn and Daniel looking at us sadly. Katie stops.

"Please tell me that you at least told your girlfriends" Katie asks. They all nodded their heads and katie gave them a small smile. With that we walk upstairs into Jack and Daniels room.

"Least they told their girlfriends" I roll my eyes. 

"I know..." Katie sighs as she plops on the bed.

"Why do you think they didn't tell us?" I ask katie who shake her head.

"Hoes" I mumble which causes her to laugh.

"Should we let them explain?" She sighs.

"Do I have to?" I whine 

"Julia, its better to spend time with them before they leave than spend that time being mad at them and then have them leave" Katie says.

"God I hate it when you're right" I say. Katie laughs before getting up to open the door.

"Jack! Zach! you have a limited time to get your asses up here and explain to us why you kept this a secret" Katie yells down the stairs. Immediately we heard feet running up the stairs. Katie turns to sit on the bed next to me. They run into the room panting

"Geez you two need to get in shape" Katie jokes before we both laugh. They boys stand there for a minute trying to catch their breathes.

"Tick tock boys" I say staring zach down.

"Babe i know youre stressed and i didn't want to add to thay stress. I was sp scared when you started going on runs again and when katie told me not to add to it i thought it would be best not to tell you. Im sorry I didnt mean for it to hurt you" Zach says 

"So were you ever gonna tell me orr...?" I ask dragging out the 'r' "and whats your excuse noodlehead i should be hurting you right now for hurting my best friend" I add causing Katie to look down.

"Katie, i was gonna tell you i promise. you too julia but me and zach were working on trying to convince our manager to to let us bring you guys along. really we didn't mean for it to make you guys mad im sorry" Jack says. Katie and I sigh.

"Why cant I stay mad at you" I say hugging zach "it kinda misses me off how much I love you Herron" 

Jack looks at Katie with a hopeful look. Katie laughs and gets up yo hug jack.  Katie leans up to kiss jack but it turns into a makeout

"And thats out cue to leave" I mumble into Zach's ear and drag him out by the hand.

"Ok how about to make it up to you we get panda express and come back here and we watch whatever you want" Zach says smiling 

"Even friends?" I ask with hope in my eyes

"Yes even though we have seen friends A BILLION TIMES we can watch it" he says with a laugh before kissing my cheek.
