"You know what i'm capable of babygirl" He says. All of a sudden he grabs me and starts tickling me. I get out of his grip and start running. I see him running after me and I jump into the pool to get away. He laughs and goes inside. I get out of the pool and sit on the edge, looking up at the stars. Zach comes out with a towel and one of his sweatshirts. He wraps the towel around me and sits behind me with his legs on either side of me.

"Baby come on let's get you out of these wet clothes" He says tugging at the hem of my shirt. I take off my shirt, leaving my bra on, and he dries my body before putting his sweatshirt on me. Katie suddenly comes outside and looks at me.

"Food?" She asks.

"Fridge I say. Katie nods before closing the door and heading to the kitchen.

"You two just have your own language don't you" Zach says laughing.

"Not just us it's called the language of girl. I'm fluent in it if you didn't notice" I say smiling up at him giving him a peck on the lips.

"I love you, do you know that?" He says looking down at me.

"You have made that clear" I said laughing.

"You know our 1 year is coming up, what do you want to do?" He asks.

"Well you know me, you plan something" I say cuddling into his chest. "What do you want by the way?" I ask looking up at him.

"I just want..." He starts "A ROLLY ROLLY ROLLY WITH A DAB OF RANCH" He screams making me laugh.

"shhhh people are sleeping" I say through my laugh. Once I calm down I ask him again.

"Zach i'm serious what do you want?" I ask.

"Baby with what I put you through the last couple of days I don't need anything but you in my life. If you get me something i'm going to return it" Zach says.

"But what if you can't return it?" I ask with my eyebrows raised leaning in for a kiss. Zach just laughs a little and kisses me. I close my eyes and just live in the moment until a thought comes to my mind.

"Hey baby can we talk about something?" I look at Zach. He stiffens immediately.

"Should I be scared?" He asks.

"My parents want me to start looking at colleges" I say

"oh well we can your USC tomorrow if you want I got a friend-" He starts before I cut him off.

"No Zach they want me to start looking at colleges closer to home" I say looking down.

"We never really talked about college and the near future. I want you to stay here with me baby, I want to be able to protect you plus thing of how much money you save if you went to college here. you don't have to pay for housing or a meal plan because you will live with us" Zach says trying to rationalize me staying in LA.

"Zach, i'm not smart enough to get into any schools here and you know it, my grades sucked. like really sucked because of my history."

"What if you don't go to college?" He asks.

"Says the high school dropout" I joke "but no seriously like what would I do? When people more out here they have a talent they want to show the world. I don't have a talent"

"But i've heard you sing and i've seen you dance okay you're good, really good" He says. I raise my brow and give him a side eye.

"and what do you know about dancing? I don't really trust your opinion on that since you can't" I say laughing.

"Okay but I can sing and you have a great voice. And this is coming from your boyfriend who's in a sings for a living" He says

"I would never make it Zach, i'm not like you guys, I don't have the talent. I need to go to college" I say ignoring his compliments.

"And what would you study? what do you actually wanna do in life?" He asks.

"I have no fucking idea. but that's what college is all about, finding what you wanna do" I say.

"We'll figure something out baby I promise" Zach says

"I don't want to go back home. I want to stay here with you" I say looking up at him,

"One day at a time" Zach says "Tomorrow we're going to the apple store so I can get you your new phone" Zach says. starting to drift off, I nod in response before feeling him chuckle and pick me up to head inside.

*A couple days later*

Christina, Katie and I are hanging out at the house will the boys are at the studio. We were messing around while Christina was vlogging.

He was planning our anniversary date with help from Christina and the boys. Knowing me, they know I don't like going out to a fancy resturant and would much rather have Pizza then a fancy $40 pasta. Zach is planning a tumblr date night where he sets up pillows and blankets on the roof and a movie projector playing my favorite movie and plans on getting Chinese food and candy there to eat. He just didn't know what to get me so he texted Katie.

Zach: I need gift ideas for Julia for our anniversary.

Katie remembers me saying a while ago that I wanted Zach's Why Don't We dog tag so he texts him the idea suggesting he engraved something in the back that's special to us. He texts back:

Zach: any other ideas cause that's not enough

Katie rolls her eyes and sighs, Christina and I not noticing. She mumbles "so high maintenance" and laughs to herself. She texts back:

Katie: She's your girlfriend. I can't give you all the answers

Zach: gee thanks for the help

Katie laughs to herslef before getting back to hanging out with me and Christina.

"Zach just texted me, they're gonna be coming home late but they're bringing us food" I tell Christina and Katie.

"If they're not bringing home pizza tell them not to bother coming home at all" Christina says laughing

"Ohhh yes and it has to be good pizza, you know like new york style thin crust brick oven made pizza" you add.

"Man we are picky when it comes to pizza" I say laughing as I text Zach back.

"I though we already knew that" Katie says looking confused but still laughing.

"We did" I say. As I texted Zach back, Katie spoke up.

"hey, have you guys talked to jack at all today? I texted him this morning and at lunch but he didn't reply"

"no, has he texted in the groupchat?" I ask

"Nope no message in the groupchat" Christina says putting her phone back in her pocket. I shrug facetiming Zach to find out where Jack was.

"Hey baby where's Jack? apparently he hasn't texted Katie all day" I ask when he answers. Zach shakes his head.

"Hey guys, where's Jack?" Zach asks turning to the other three boys. Before they boys can respond, Katie jumps into the frame.

"Im sorry what? you guys have been at the studio all day AS A BAND and you're missing a fifth? where is my boyfriend?!"

"I think he went to get food" Jonah says

"Okay but why isn't he answering me or the groupchat?" Katie asks

"How long does it take him to get food?" Christina asked

"It's Jack. Everything he does takes a long fucking time" Corbyn says laughing causing Katie to roll her eyes.

"Well I would appreciate it if he texted his damn girlfriend and not giver her a heart attack" she says before stepping out of the shot.

"I would if one of these goons didn't decide to hide my phone" Jack says coming into frame.

"And which goon would that be? I asked

"Yours" Daniel, Jonah, and Corbyn say at the same time while Zach is just laughing.

"ZACH I SWEAR TO GOD" Katie yells from out of frame.

"Zach give Jack his phone back" I say annoyed

"Or what?" he challenges

"Or I promise you I will go apple picking" I threaten

"OK OK OK" he says in a panic getting Jack's phone from his pocket.

"Jul, get your man in shape. he gabe me a heart attack because I didn't know where my damn boyfriend was" Katie says

"I've been trying for a year katie" I say causing her and Christina to laugh.

"Everytime you want one of them to so something jsut threaten to go apple picking" I laugh

"and apple picking is....?" Katie asks

"NO DON'T TELL THEM!" Jack and Corbyn yell. Katie and Christina narrow their eyes to stare at me pressuring me to tell them.

"My friend told me about it, it's when you grab a guy's balls, twist and pull" I say demonstrating with my hands in the air.

"JULIA!" Jack shouts at me

"sorry guys hoes before bros"

"Julia i'm going to kill you" Jack says

"ZACH YOUR FRIEND JSUT THREATENED TO KILL ME" I yell to him through the phone.

"I'll allow it" he says coming into frame and shrugging.

"Hoe" I say before hanging up. While we waited for the boys to come home, we sat down to watch greys anatomy while Christina edited her vlog.
