Chapter 5

**Satoshi's POV**

We'd decided to go back.

Matt was sitting on the floor with tears in his eyes. The loss of his little sister... must've been devastating. I know I would be depressed if Yuka died...

"Hey, Matt... Are you okay?" I reached my hand down to him to help him up.

"As much as I'd love to say 'Yes'," My sister's boyfriend muttered, "I really don't think I'll ever be 'okay'. I think I'll 'get along', but I won't be 'okay' ever again." He reached up and grabbed my arm and I helped him to his feet. His philosophy was surprisingly true, as I realize now.

"Yeah, I guess so," I replied, "But we still have to keep going."

"Definitely." Matt looked up and asked me, "So what do we do?"

"Well.... We need to get nine people-" I started, only to be cut off by Naomi.

"Why nine? I thought that Yuki said that only 7 people were needed...." She questioned.

"Naomi..." I whispered softly, "I know I sound kinda heartless, but people are going to die there..."

Naomi held back a gasp, but she replied, "Yeah.... I guess so... But still- Who are we going to get to come?"

"People we trust," I stated.

"Or people who want to commit suicide," Yoshiki threw in. I gave him a withering look, and he said, "Sorry. Carry on!"

"As I was saying," I glared at Yoshiki for a moment, "We need people we trust to come, people who would sacrifice themselves for this."

"I," Matt rolled his eyes, "Will obviously be coming. That means that we need.....three more people."

"Three more victims," Ayumi cried a little, "You mean. Anyone who isn't the five of us might not survive..."

"Including myself, but I'm still going," Matt wasn't the sarcastic, clueless guy he was a few minutes ago. I guess... learning about his little sister's death broke a little piece of him.

That's when a few people barged into the room.

"Heeeey, Yuka-" They stopped once they saw the congregation, the mess, and the fact that Matt was on the floor crying, "Woah, what the heck happene-" They stopped, and each one fell to the ground. Maybe... maybe this room allows for people to remember the people they lost to the school!

"Why.... why is it that only now I remember my big brother?!" Yami, a girl with black hair and brown eyes, cried out.

"And why couldn't remember that I had a twin?!" Akito, a boy with blue-ish black hair and gold eyes, yelled.

"I..." Rosa, a girl with pink hair and blue eyes, was completely speechless.

The six of us just smiled sadly as our friends fought their inner demons.

We had to explain what happened at Heavenly Host to the newcomers.

"So... I actually had a little brother," A tear rolled down Rosa's face, "Named Lucas?"

"Probably." Matt replied, "I used to have a little sister named Sara, but she lost her life too..."

"Why couldn't we remember them before?" Akito directed this question to me.

"Because they all died in Heavenly Host elementary school." I replied, and Yami gasped.

"As in that school with all those kidnappings and killings?!" She sounded absolutely startled.

"Yeah," Yoshiki replied, "That's the one."

"So... how did they get there?" The chilling question made all of us shiver.

"The Sachiko Ever After charm." What surprised me the most is that Yuka said that.
