Chapter 2

Okay, I lied. In my last A/N at the beginning, I said something about Satoshi being the main character and always having the story written in his POV.

Yeaaaaaaaaah, thats not possible.

Well, I have to write in a lot of POVs once the story gets a-rollin' (HOLY CRUD AM I FIFTY?!), so scratch that rule.

That's all I have to say, so BYE!!!!

**Satoshi's POV**

Once I saw Yuki's glowing figure in the middle of the room, I knew something that I didn't particularly like was up.

"Hello." Her voice was eerily soft, and echoed around the room.

The six of us just stared.

Matt was the one to break the silence.

"What the crap is this?!?!" Matt pointed at Yuki.

"Ummm..." Yuka's voice trailed off.

"Uh..." None of us knew how we were supposed to answer.

"WHY AM I THE ONLY ONE HERE SURPRISED TO SEE A GHOST?!?!?" Matt started yelling.

"...Who is this?" Yuki tilted her head slightly.

"Well..." I looked around me for help. Of course, I didn't get any, so I continued with a sigh, "Yuki, this is Matt."

"Really? Nice to meet you, Matt." Yuki sounded older than she looked.

"Wait... you know it?!?!" Matt stared at me.

"..." I didn't have an answer for him.

**Matt's POV**

There's a ghost.

In the middle of the room.

And I'm the only one freaking out about it.

"Why am I the only clueless one here?!" I looked around frantically, my eyes finally landing on my shaking girlfriend.

"M-Matt..." She whispered, then leapt out of her brother's arms and into mine, "I'm so sorry!"

"Aah!" I was surprised, but then embraced her, "Yuka...

What on earth are you sorry about?"

The room went silent.

"Um..." Ayumi broke out of her panic attack for a moment, "Something bad happened about 7 years ago..."

"Care to elaborate?" I replied sarcastically, rolling my eyes.

"I suppose I'll explain," The ghost girl spoke.

"About 7 years ago," Yuki, as she was apparently called, started, her soft voice explaining, "A class was having a girl transferred to a school." I looked behind me at the five people behind me. Yoshiki and Satoshi looked extremely depressed, and Naomi, Ayumi, and Yuka looked like they were about to break into tears.

The ghost girl continued, "That girl's name was Mayu Suzumoto." I heard a yelp come from the girls' directions and saw that Ayumi had covered her face with her hands, Naomi and Yuka hugging her. Yuki ignored this, "She and her 9 classmates decided to tell ghost stories on that last day. After they told ghost stories, one particular classmate told them that they should form the 'Sachiko Ever After' charm so that they could stay friends together.

But they performed it incorrectly, and that angered Sachiko." Yuki's voice became dark, "And they were whisked to Heavenly Host Elementary school.

"Ghosts of children and the Sachiko charm victims haunted the school, their existance completely forgotten after they died. No one made it out of Heavenly Host Elementary school. And me, Tokiko, and Ryou were the original victims of Sachiko, forever stuck in the school. Along with the dead victims of Sachiko's curse, of course.

"There were two girls, alone, in one single space. It was all the same school, but each group was in one closed space, which is basically another dimension. Anyways, the two girls were freaked out and separated from eachother out of anger, and eventually, one was posessed and killed the other.

"As for us ghosts, we were stuck, our tongues cut out and unhappy. We wanted to be able to speak again and rest peacefully, and suddenly, these 9 children appeared. Two of them figured out our wishes and we regained our tongues, appeasing us.

"We were happy for awhile, but Sachiko just brought us back into the madness, slowly consuming us. I tried to keep the two children who saved us safe, but they wanted to help more and save their friends. But the thing is, two were already dead- Mayu and Seiko. I continued to be bad, but those two kids probably saved the rest of the group.

"Meanwhile, a boy and his little sister in a seperate closed space, or dimension, got split apart, and a crazy, homicidal murderer went after the little girl. Her brother was teleported to another demension, where he met the girl who came up with the Sachiko 'charm' and posted it on the internet- Naho. She let him go to a girl who he'd always loved who was in a different closed space, and together, they went in search of his little sister."

The connection was starting to form in my head right about here.

Yuki continued, "But they continued to search until they found clues on how to get out. And as they did, earthquakes plagued them, including the two in which I helped.

"So they kept searching for eachother, eventually entering the same closed space. The boy and his lover and the two that I saved finally met eachother, but luck wasn't in their favor- they were separated by an abyss.

"Then, they lost another. The two in which I helped found their teacher, Miss Yui, and she sacrificed herself to save one of the kids that pleased us. It was truly noble, but the single adult that went with them died a horrible death- falling into the oblivion.

"The 6 remaining children kept going, the girl still running from the insane boy trying to kill her, the lovers trying to find the girl, and the boy and girl I saved searching for a way to meet eachother and escape, all the while finding a way to put Sachiko to rest. There was one single, alone guy searching for his beloved, who he didn't know had already died.

"To make this story short, the single guy realized that his beloved was dead, and he went insane and murdered himself. The remaining 5 came together and exorcised Sachiko, and they eventually escaped."

"But we left them all behind." Satoshi's voice sounded sad.

"M-Morishige..." Yoshiki whispered.

"Miss Yui..." A stray tear rolled down Ayumi's cheek.

"Mayu," Yuka looked at me straight in the eyes.

Naomi was silent, but spoke in a quiet, quiet whisper, "Seiko."

"We left every one of our friends behind." Satoshi finished.

It clicked.

"So you... you were the ones that escaped Heavenly Host?!" I exclaimed. Each one nodded in turn, finishing with my little Yuka.

"Yeah. We were." Satoshi looked me straight in the eyes, and I knew that they spoke the truth. It couldn't possibly be a fib or a joke....

Could it?
