"I shall grant your wish young boy."

That was the last thing I heard before I was transported in a white room. Looking around I can see the area slowly change to Grey clouds, grassy earth surrounded by dark yellow carnations, a blue lake that is slowly rippling, a dark orange sunset dimly lighting the area. What bothers me the most is the Silver moon in the middle of the sky with a roman numeral twelve in the middle. No! It was not a moon but a clock. I slowly walked towards the lake and looked at my reflection. I look the same as usual. where am I?

"We are on your soul," an old voice said. I looked behind me to see a silhouette of a man with no features. "Do not be alarmed, young man. I am merely here to talk with you," I rose an eyebrow and shrugged. The figure then transformed into a middle-aged man, wearing beautiful white robes. A holy aura surrounding him serenely as the area around him suddenly bloomed with life.

"Who are you?" I asked, oddly enough I can not feel myself being wary around this man.

"Hmm why not fancy a guess young man," he said as I thought of the possible answers. A spirit but I don't know anyone that can travel to the soul. there are only a few more choices but based on what I feel around him he is either a divine bring such as an angel, or... NO WAY!!!!! I felt my eyes widening as I saw the man nod. I breathed for several minutes and sat down.

"So, to whom do I own this pleasant surprise?" I asked as I looked at him. He merely smiled and waved his hand. I looked as we were transported to a place between the blue sky and silver clouds, and the crystal clear water below us.

"You owe it to no one, my boy. " HE said oddly enough I can say that he was not lying. "You are here because I want you to give my blessings to you."

"Blessings?" I asked. blessings to what. Honestly, I am very much surprised that a man such as I, will receive blessings. 

"You must be confused. You were into another world." A new world? Well if parallel worlds exist due to the infinite probability of each action due to Newton's third law that states: 'For every action, there is an equal yet opposite reaction.' "However, yours is special," special? "Since a summoning that connects to another realm needs divine intervention."

"Mine did not," I said.

"Exactly, when someone is summoned from another world they would be helped by divinity and they will be given a blessing by whoever summoned them," he said and I get it.

"Since there was no divinity involved I will have no blessing or whatsoever," I said and he merely nodded with sad eyes. "I always had the worst luck sometimes," I shrugged and took a coffee that appeared out of nowhere

"So I decided to give you my blessings." He said happily. What the what?!?!?!?!?!"

I spat my coffee out.

"Are you sure? I mean what's the catch?" I asked normally there would be some sort of catch in this kind of deals. I'd rather know the terms first.

"only one. I ask you to protect that world," What?! I put down my cup of coffee. and looked at him seriously. "It might not be my domain, but I love life, I know death is important but life should be preserved in that world." He said and now I was curious. 

"Since the demon king, Goetia Awakened, the gods of that world saw him as a form of entertainment and focused on fighting him so much that they forgot their duties and only a few of them are still properly managing their domains." He said and I thought about it. That was bad if the demon king was defeated I am pretty sure that the humans of that world will turn at each other when they realized their resources are less. The gods will be resting leaving their domains unattended. The laws of the causality of that world will be uncontrolled. This is bad. From what I gather these gods seem to draw out their powers not only from their domains but also the beliefs of the living of the world. 

"I see that you know what will happen."

"The heroes will be blinded by their glory and training to find out what really is going on and only focus on the Goetia to get their rewards. With the gods focusing on the battle more That world will be thrown in chaos and when they realize it will be too late." He nodded at me and sadly smiled. "But why me?"

"We divinity have an agreement that we can not directly meddle in another's world. but since mortals were the ones who conducted the summoning they can be helped by divinities, and since you were summoned by mortals without any god helping you are the only person that I can ask this. But if you don't want to then it is fine." He said and I took my chances. since I am being summoned in a new world might as well act as a guardian of life. but ensuring that life must go on, I will need to do things...

"You will only need to do it until..." Hearing this caused my eyes to widen. "After that, you can all go home."

"I accept this Request."

"It will be hard."

"I know. In this journey, I might lose a lot more than I will gain, but I decided that I will not run away again anymore.," I smiled, combing my hair back with my hand and bowed at him. "Please send me off on this journey. I only ask that if I do not come back is to make my family happy and if possible..." I said hesitating a bit but they shouldn't feel the loss of another family member anymore. "aFTER ALL I am just a tool," I said sadly.

"Very well. Three blessings, you shall receive," an orb appeared out of his hand and went in front of me. Suddenly the white room was surrounded by the night sky and I am now standing at a circular platform with the orb.

"What do you wish?" an ethereal voice asked me and I thought about it. What did I want? a memory of a few days ago appeared on my mind and I said.

"To see the future. To see the possibilities for even a single moment." A soothing feeling washed over my eyes as I see clearer, the platform was now decorated with a clock a roman numeral 12 in the middle.

"What do you want?" the voice once again said. I thought about it, I always hate it when I run away from my problems.

"The ability to bind anything so I won't be able to run away again, so I can protect what is precious to me."

"Wise choice." The same voice said and a bright light covered the area. When the light faded, I found the hands of the clock, bound with chains along with the platforms. I moved around and heard chains moving. Looking at my body, I saw chains wrapped around it, but it did not bother nor hurt me.

"The last question." It once again said and I resolved myself. The same man appeared in front of me again and said. "What do you need the most?"

That question made me think. What do I need the most? Immortality, no I don't want immortality. Love? I don't want to love someone who I don't know. Wisdom? Hmm probably. I kept thinking about it and I said without thinking.

"To be healed from anything that hurts me." This surprised him and me as well.

"I see." He said and waved his hand as a white light surrounded me. I felt nothing but warmth, serene, loving warmth. Similar to a child having fun. I couldn't help but smile.

The light disappeared and I was now in a new set of clothes. I now wear a black and white jacket over a white long-sleeve button-up shirt instead of my school uniform top. For the bottoms, I now wear tan cargo pants and black combat boots.

I like the new look. I moved around and saw that it fit comfortably, not too tight or not too loose. I smiled at the man and he held out an orb.

"Touch it." He said. I calmly walked to the orb and touched it softly. The orb slowly disappeared and a beautiful pair of gauntlets and an ornate silver and gold dagger with blue designs all over it.

"I do not know where your summoning will take you but I give this to you to protect yourself." I smiled as several fireflies appeared around me. I slowly felt myself disappear from this plane.

"Take care." He said and I smiled.

"Thank you very much... Oh, heavenly father." I said and I now find myself in a misty grassland with grass as tall as a fully grown man.

Wow I have good luck, REALLY good luck

I now find myself in grassland, of all places. Neat. As I was taking in the scenery I saw everything around me surrounded by giant flames.

"WHAT THE!?" 

it then all turned back to normal. huh? that was weird. suddenly a small ball of light hovered around the top of the grasslands. 

Shit! this is! 

the vision from earlier, it was a scene from the future. I need to protect my self.  

Shit! 

I'm panicking too much. The vision from earlier. 

"I won't die here!" I shouted and suddenly I felt warm.

I looked around and saw the ground rippling as if something wants to rise out of them. Instead, I felt myself being calmed. Just like the ripples on a water's surface, I raised my hand and out came chains from the ground.

They were simple and plain, yet they looked so beautiful. Like the twinkling stars, it existed so far away yet so beautiful. silver chains each made with such care and love, like how a mother would raise her child the best way she could, struck and dispersed the fireball. I couldn't help but feel calm.

suddenly a roar almost deafened me. I looked up at the sky and felt fear, yet my body felt hot. a huge silhouette of a majestic beast, with wings as long as several limousines, scales gleaming like rubies, It carried majesty and strength. 

"Child of man. why do you stand in my domain? Have you forgotten the treaty or is this a declaration of war?" it asked. 

"I apologize but I do not know what you are talking about," I said as I looked at it with my own eyes. I was afraid yet I must stay strong. 

"fufufu. Don't be afraid, young boy," a beautiful voice said. "Just move. let your instincts guide you," I don't know who you are but if it will help me live then I will follow you.

Suddenly a green aura surrounded my body and several ripples once again appeared but this time, they appeared around me. without thinking I raised my hand and several chains connected to blades shot out the ripples and headed towards the great beast. Seeing this it only reared it's head and breathed out a ball of fire.

I didn't think just moved. my blood boiled every second as sweat formed on my body from the heat of the fireball. I clenched my hands into fists and the chains spun around each other and turned to a giant spear that pierced through the fire and went straight to the great beast.

The great beast was shocked but it flapped its powerful wings that sent a strong gust of wind that blew away my giant spear of chains and forced me to grab onto one of my chains' segment in order to be not blown away. 

I will seriously die here! I had an idea, suddenly several ripples around me and chains wrapped around me keeping me from being blown away by the wind.

If I die then I will go out fighting. Looking at my gauntlet covered hands, I smirked. when the wind died down I removed the chains and punched my hand.

"I don't know who you are or what is going on here!" I shouted as I glared at it and it, in turn, was surprised. "I have been having a shitty week, and if you are going to kill me. Then DON'T even think that I will just let you!" I  went down on a basic kickboxing stance and felt myself burn. "I rather die fighting than die like a coward!"

suddenly, loud rambunctious laughter escaped the great beast's mouth as it looked at me with fire on its eyes and a grin. 

"VERY WELL!!! CHILD OF MAN, SHOW ME WHAT YOU CAN DO!"I crouched on the ground as the same warmth once again enveloped me as several ripples once again formed around me, all aiming upwards. 

"I am Dragnus Magna Ignia, the former flame dragon king. Survive and I shall take you to heights that you will be only able to dream of. SHOW IT TO ME CHILD OF MAN!" Dragnus shouted as he breathed out a stream of blue flames.

it was hot I felt it even if it was hundreds of meters away. 

"Rise and Bind, Pierce and  hold!" I shouted as hundred of chains rose from the ground, all advancing at high speeds and revolved. "I will not run away again!" a giant chain appeared under me and carried me like a magic carpet. Suddenly I feel myself losing the feeling of my body. The chains that I was riding on joined the others and they all turned to a giant spearhead. 

"RAAAHHH!!!!" I shouted as I feel slowly getting burned the closer I get Towards the great beast who kept on releasing a stream of flames. 

I won't give up! I kept pushing on, Through the heat, through the pain, I kept rising above it. The spearhead sup so fast that it reflected the light that hit it and allowed me to pass through the flames, with only 2nd to 3rd-degree burns.

Seeing this, The dragon was surprised and didn't move an inch. It merely grinned and laughed.

"SPLENDID!!!" It shouted as I roared with all my mouth as I reared my hand back to deliver one final blow. Then in an instant, the giant lance made of chains with me on the middle of the blade was surrounded with light and sped through the dragon's hand and hitting the side of its head and snapping one of its horns off. 

I feel my self slowly lose consciousness as I feel the wind hitting my back. I'm falling? I guess I didn't do it. I smiled and offered a small prayer. The last thing I saw was a smile before and a hand reaching out for me.
