The Past

Drama, theatre play, acting, whatever you wanna call it. It was a thing that Namjoon liked doing. He was interested in it and liked it. He found it very stress relieving when reading a monologue or script and also watching theatre plays. He actually used to take drama lessons in a place where both theatre plays and lessons happened. I mean, lessons and final performances took places in different buildings so it won't get distracting. But it was managed by the same company.

Anyways Namjoon had to stop it due to his stepfather basically mentally traumatizing him by his harsh words. Telling him to stop doing dumb and stupid things. And yeah, Namjoon TEMPORARILY stopped. Of course, he told Jin about that and Jin obviously helped him to go back to doing what he did and even did it with him! Basically now Jin and Joon sneak out to the local theatre for lessons.

Jin and Namjoon had a lot of fun doing that. And the thing is that Namjoon really didn't know that Jin was such a great actor. This just made Namjoon admire Jin even more than before. Jin was good at basically everything he did so it wasn't even surprising for Jin.

On the day, they were notified that there is an audition being held for the recent play. The play was called, "Eternities with You" It was a gay love story which consisted of two besties from extremely different families, countries, and etc. Their names were Park Niki and Kim Kang-min. They finally made it to their dream art college. As time passes by Niki starts to fall in love with Kang-min but just couldn't express it. The same is with Kang-min but he just thinks that it will just be a dream. It's more of a comedy type love story, but there are times when it gets slightly angsty.

Joon and Jin decided to audition. They got the monologues that they were supposed to perform for the audition. They were all also told the story plot of the play along with many other participants. And to be honest, Jin knew that he and Joon will get the lead roles. He was just really confident. He actually even liked the story plot, since it was like his and Joon's friendship.

Soon the audition day came. Everybody was really nervous except Jin obviously. Jin doesn't get nervous, he makes people nervous. Well, Namjoon was the polar opposite. It's been a while since he auditioned for a play. Also, he didn't want to get any of the lead roles, he just wanted the second lead, nothing much. The reason behind it is because if he and Jin got the lead, it will be kinda awkward in their actual friendship. (a/n, Bro! Namjoon, I can tell u that nothing like that happens, u dumbass! Smh) And if someone else gets the lead role along with him, there is no way he will do it.

Namjoon and Jin soon auditioned. They gave their everything to the judges. Everyone did their best with all they had. Also, many people obviously acted with the requirements for lead roles and second leads. Niki's role required a male with tall and broad physics and a bold, dominant, yet gentle voice. It also requires someone who can at times speak English, and have a slight foreign accent. And you know that Jin can easily do it.

For Kang-min, well, you have to have a pretty loud voice, there are many times you will have to put humour in different and weird ways. Basically a non-drinking, non-party-type, and a modern version of Mad Hatter (a/n, basically me)

Soon the audition was finished and Jin and Namjoon decided to go to the park that was nearby. They were walking in the part of the park where people don't usually come. It was just a little more quiet. They were holding hands and just enjoying each other's company. And they say that they aren't dating and just are besties. 😒🙄 Anyways.

"Hyung" Jin said while looking ahead. "Hmmm?" You looked like an extremely different person while auditioning." "Is suppose to be a compliment or insult?" Joon said jokingly. "It was a compliment obviously. I'd never insult you and if I did I would let you punch me" Jin said. Namjoon laughed. "I know, I know, now don't be too extreme!" He chuckled again. But Jin was serious. "You weren't bad yourself!" "Did you like my acting?" Jin asked "Of course I did! You did so well!" Jin smiled at the comment.

"Hyung what if..." "What is it?" "What if we get the lead role?" Namjoon got shocked for some reason at the question. By now they were stopped walking and were standing face to face. "I mean like..." Joon drifted off. "That will be great?" He still a confused look on his face. "I really hope that you will get Kang-min's role and I will get Niki's. I am sure that we will get even closer through this play" Jin said with a smirk on his handsome face.

Namjoon lowered his face with a not so happy look. Jin's face soon dropped and became slight angry. "Why, do you not want to be with me?" He said while his grip started to tighten on Joon's wrist." "You don't want to act with me? We are best friends aren't we Hyung?" He tilted his head. His grip was extremely tight that it was hurting Namjoon. "J-Jin" Namjoon stuttered while looking down. "Answer me why?!" He said and harshly lifted his chin. "S-stop! You're...you're hurting me." As soon as Namjoon said that, Jin let go of his hand.

"Tell me why?" "It might get awkward between us. Since it's a love story. That's why!" Namjoon said quietly. These kinds of things always happened between them. The problem always gets bigger because of Jin's anger issues but Namjoon doesn't talk about it because it will become worst.

"really? Why didn't you tell me before" He came closer and finally hugged him." "I am sorry" "it's fine" They pulled away and Jin grabbed his wrist and caressed. "I am also sorry for being like that. You know that I am just this way." "yes I know and now that it is over stop thinking about it" "But I am sad that you are thinking that it might get awkward between us." "I know.." "Now come treat me ice cream today," Jin said with a smile. "fine" Namjoon rolled his eyes but went with him.

Though Jin sometimes hurt him like this, he knew that Jin was the sweetest and kindest human being. Only to him, and Namjoon liked that. Namjoon knew that Jin would do anything for him and so would Joon.

Flashback

Today Namjoon had a really hard day. In the morning his parent's were nagging him to the point of him breaking down. Then the people in his college cursing at him for being how he is and whoring around Jin. Well, he never whored around Jin. He was there because he was his besti and crush and he loved Jin's company all the time. They said that in college people don't really care about what others do. Well, they lied to Namjoon I guess.

It really was a hectic day for Namjoon. Getting beaten every time bullies see you is not a thing that you would like. It was also like that right now. Joon was getting beaten in a secret place that was hidden from all the teachers. But for some reasons, there were many people. Oh yeah, they were all bad bitches so it's understandable. Anyways after the whole beating, he got kicked out of the place and soon after he ran to his Jinnie who was waiting for him anxiously.

He actually at first didn't tell him anything, thinking that he might get worried. He just decided to smile through his pain. Jin obviously noticed the bruises on him. "Who did this to you?!" "Jinnie it's not a big deal, please!" "No! I can't let anyone just do that to you!" While rolling his sleeve already knowing who did it. "I SAID IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL" Namjoon yelled with the scariest voice Jin ever heard from him, which made him stop. "really?" "Yes really!" He said after sighing. "fine" Jin said. Just like that, it was time for classes again.

Did you think that Jin will stop just like that? Oh nah! He will create chaos to tell everyone about what happens if someone messes with something that's his. A sickening smirk spread all over Jin's face. He grabbed his phone and called someone "Hey Hyung, are you free?"

15mins before Namjoon's lessons ended.

Namjoon was in his lecture not listening to the teacher. He was too tired to listen to the teacher and he already knew the formulas so there is no point in still listening. He was just thinking about Jin while secretly drawing him in his small sketchbook. But that all stopped when everyone heard a certain type of alarm followed by an announcement. It told them that they were under attack and that there was fire spreading really quickly so make way to the gathering point.

Everyone soon started running. But Namjoon was the last one to leave. Everyone made their way to the fire exit but Namjoon ran to the opposite way. The fire didn't come on this floor yet, thankfully. He HAD to find Jin. As he was walking he saw the open lecture room doors. And inside guess what he saw. Dead bodies that were brutally murdered. Like very brutally. I won't go into detail but it was like someone mistaken humans for vegetables.

He walked by more classes and all of them were filled with crimson liquid. The murder was really a psycho, wasn't he? Well, Joon liked this killer's thinking. If Joon was a murderer then he would kill these people just like this. He also noticed that the people who were murdered the most brutally had a similar face to his bullies but he wasn't sure since it was hard to see their faces. But to be honest, a lot of people were killed, like the people he didn't even know.

He soon ran to the upper floor which was not the terras but just another hallway with classes with dead bodies. Pretty similar except, a man was standing with his back to Namjoon. A man that Namjoon recognized in less than seconds. He was standing there with a huge knife. "J-Jin?" Joon asked with hesitation. Jin slowly turned his head back a little, and soon his whole body. He gave a very psychotic smile to Namjoon. "Hyung" He quietly said. While slowly walking towards him with the knife. "Just the man I wanted to see..." If Jin was going to kill him, he wouldn't mind dying by his hands, yes he will be kinda hurt by yeah.

"Do you like what I created Hyung?" He said, now about a foot away. "So you really...did this?" "Yes! Just for you and only you! I couldn't save you when they beat you so cruelly. So I prepared this little gift for you. Now don't lie, I know you like it, no, love it." He said sweetly just like the devil in disguise he was. "Jinnie" Namjoon gave him a gentle smile. "Do you want me to kill more? I can do that!" "No no, I love it" "really?" Jin stood extremely close to Namjoon and dropped his knife. "You know?" Jin hugged him. "Yeah?" Joon hugged him back tightly. "You are the first person other than my brother, that loved my chaos. "Oh yeah?" "I thought that you will fear me and then leave me." "Yah! I would never do that" "I can see that."

"Thank you for killing them," Namjoon said while snuggling his head into Jin's neck. "I can do anything for you at any time." "But won't you get caught?" Namjoon looked up with worry. "Don't worry about that. Everything is already taken care of with the help of my other hyungie." He smiled. Namjoon hugged him even tighter if that was possible. Jin finally looked ahead and saw Jimin with a huge bottle of gasoline. He was looking at Jin. He at first had a straight face but soon that expression was vanished by a small smile. Jin grinned back.

I swear if Namjoon and Jin are still besties then-
