I awoke the next morning when the shipmaster began to get up, I grumbled sleepily and he kissed my cheek.
"Go back to sleep dear, I won't be long," he promised before getting up and leaving, Zena lifted her head as he left and nudged my stomach softly as if she knew.
"Hey Zena, you can tell huh," I mumbled, she just looked at me with wisdom in my eyes. I guessed griffins could tell when someone was pregnant, I sat up and stretched. I could already feel a small movement inside me and I couldn't help but smile, covenant young grew very fast which made me a bit worried. In a month and a half I would have my own young one to take care of, granted there were special elites trained for raising young while mothers went away on battles but I didn't want to leave my child alone unless I had to. My eyes brightened as the shipmaster returned, by now the whole fleet had heard as the leaders never kept a secret for long. A few elites and grunts stopped by to offer congratulations while some only stopped by to stare, I didn't know why some thought it a curse for an Arbiter to bare a child as it could grow into a fine Arbiter itself.
"They are just jealous my dear, some covenant are born infertile and cannot bare children of their own," He soothed, I smiled and cuddled into his chest. We sat there for about half an hour before we had to move, I went for a walk back to the river again knowing we were only here for another day before we had to move. This time my guards were female elites who loved to chatter about the new bundle of joy, I only smiled and answered when I had to not liking so much attention. Zena had followed me as well never leaving my side, she knew about the baby and this only made her more protective. We finally arrived at the river and I let out a sigh, Zena laid down beside me putting her head on my lap.
"Girls go find me something to eat would you, I'm hungry now that I'm eating for two," I ordered simply, they all smiled and left to go find something I might enjoy. Finally alone I laid down looking at the sky, I heard a twig snap and I sat up quickly. There stood the demon, I couldn't tell what he was thinking but I knew that he knew something had happened.
"Either you have just made the biggest achievement or you are expecting a child," he mumbled loud enough for me to hear, I nodded and I began to pat Zena.
"I am baring a child, but why does it matter to you demon?" I grunted, I heard him chuckle and he left. My guards came back holding fruits, these were my favourite meal so I took one happily. We stayed down beside to river until the sun began to set, at this time we began to head back. I felt oddly happy that I had a true purpose, I looked down at my stomach and rubbed it gently making my guards giggle.
"What do you think you're gunna name it?" One of them asked curiously, I thought for a moment.
"Maybe Akin," I suggested, the guards giggled and we returned to the ship. Only once we returned was I allowed to walk freely, I was walking when suddenly I was pulled into a room. Dazed I look around, I watch the general lock the door and I begin to panic. He walked over to be and knelt down a smirk on his face, I backed away causing him to chuckle. He came closer and I backed into a wall, he began to forcefully kiss me and I pushed against his chest trying to stop him. Finally I pushed him back enough to breathe, his face became irritated.
"HELP!!!" I screamed but that only resulted in him covering my mouth, he began to try to take off my undercoat and armour but I shoved him again. Now I had pissed him off, he used one hand to pin my arms above my head and undressed me with the other hand I struggled trying to get free as he began to kiss me. He began to use his free hand to play with my womanhood, I held back a grunt of pleasure knowing it would only drive him on. He forced his tung into my mouth and I bit down dark causing him to pull back swiftly, I smirked and he smacked me across the face with his free hand. I winced as he hit me hard, he then undressed himself and shoved his member into me causing me to scream in pain. I struggled harder now trying to get away as he thrusted into me fast and hard, now I was terrified. I could see his face was twisted with pleasure and he didn't realise he had majorly released my hands, taking the opportunity I pulled my hands free and punched him both in the gut and face. I got up quickly got dressed while he was doubled over in pain and unlocked the door and ran, I ran into the shipmaster who saw my terrified gaze and pulled out his sword.
"Th-the general h-he....." I trailed off and began to sob, the shipmaster moved me aside gently and stormed into the room. My female guards from earlier rushed to my side to comfort me, moments later the shipmaster dragged the general from the room clothed thankfully and towards the leaders quarters. I collapsed in a sobbing mess, I felt hands on my back trying to comfort me but I zoned out. Then slowly but surely I was picked up and carried bridal style into my own quarters, I looked up and saw my husband the shipmaster. I let out a weak smile and cuddled into his chest, he lay beside me blocking me from the world. He began to stroke my cheek and Zena ran in angry, seeing it was just my husband she calmed down knowing what happened she curled up beside my bed. The shipmaster began to hum a tune which was soft and calming, cuddling into him I slowly fell into a deep sleep.
