I did my loop and started heading home

Down the same path I climbed up

The tranquility of the forest was broken by children playing on swing sets

Their laughter overtaking nature's orchestra of silence

While I left the area of leaves underfoot for that of pavement

Words and rhymes filled my head

I tried to not forget them before I got home

But I did.
