"Where am I? Who's bed am I in?" I wondered. I was in a dark room. I swung my feet over and stepped onto the creaky old floor. There was so little light shining through the door. The edges had light coming from them. I gripped onto the door knob and as quietly as possible opened the door. I peeked out but no one seemed to be there. It was just another dark empty room but I could see the exit. Trying to prepare myself to run towards the door, I took in a deep breathe looking around to make sure no one was around. I took a deep breathe and ran for the door. I grabbed the knob and opened the door in a quick pace but when I opened it a tall dark man stood before me. My heart had skipped a beat and the shock of seeing him made me go off balance and fall to the floor. I scooted back. When I did my back had hit something. I turned my head to see what it was and once I squinted my eyes, I jumped and backed away from the coffin that was behind me. I looked over at the door way. I couldn't examine his face with the lighting from outside causing his shadow to cast over me. I heard a little snicker coming from the man. He entered and shut the door behind him. I couldn't really see him but I just remaind silent. I didn't know what to do or say. I wanted to make a run for the door but my body locked up. "Whats happening? Is this a dream?" I wondered. "Its too vivid to be a dream." I thought.
While lost in thought the man before me had lit a match. I could then see his face. I was shocked. "This has to be a dream. There is no way..." I thought. I saw that smile and those gray bangs covering his face. "I'm... at the Undertakers in Black Butler." I told myself. I couldn't help but stare at him. He lit the candle that he had in his other hand. With the candle, he lit the other candles in the room with it. I could finally analyze my surroundings. "Hello deary." He said with excitement. I didn't know how to respond. "Um, how did I get here?" I asked. He approached me and offered me his hand. I hesitated at first but I did end up taking his hand. He pulled me up with a bit of force. I wasn't expecting him to pull me up so ruffly so I ended up bumping into his chest. As soon as I was aware I moved back as quick as possible. It was a bit hard to move farther, he still had a grip on my hand. "S-Sorry..." He didn't say anything. He just stared at me seeming as if he was deep in thought. He looked down at my hand that he was gripping onto. He looked ... sad. I've never seen him sad. He was always crazy and happy when ever I seen him in the show. "A-Are ... you okay?" He looked up at me letting go of my hand. He put on a smile and went back to how he was. "Yes! I'm fine deary." He spoke. "What was that all about?" I wondered.
"Anyway, you'd like to know how you appeared here, yes?" He asked. I nodded hoping for him to enlighten me. I was lost. "Well there is only one price you have to pay. Give me a good laugh!" He said with a chuckle. I thought for a moment. I could never be automatically funny. I didn't want to embarrass myself either. "Undertaker, would you happen to be ticklish?" I asked awkwardly. He put his arms out making himself look like a T. "Only one way to find out!" He said with a laugh. I approached him slowly and started to tickle his sides and thankfully, he started to squirm around laughing. I started to laugh to by the sight of it. "Hehehe!" I continued to tickle him. He fell to the ground and thats when I stopped. "Heheh. What a good laugh. I see you're laughing too." I smiled. He just laid there on the floor. "Well! A deals a deal I suppose." He spoke. He still didn't move. I offered my hand to him and he took it without any hesitation unlike me. His hand was gripped onto mine and I assumed he might be heavy so I took my other hand and put it over his, holding his hand in both mine. I pulled him up, waiting for an answer. "He's lighter than I expected." I thought. I let go of his hand and stared at him. He had a rather disappointed look when I had let go of his hand but I wasn't sure. I could have been seeing things. "Well, I was out doing some errands and as soon as I was on my way back, you, were sitting there at my door step. At first I thought you were dead. You seemed lifeless." He gave out a chuckle. I forced out a laugh to make sure there wasn't any tension. "Thank god I didn't wake up in a coffin." I mumbled to myself. "But, I noticed you were breathing. I wasn't going to leave you on my door step so I brought you in and put you in my room. As soon as I did that i noticed I forgot to buy some cookies. I couldn't forget those so I ended up leaving once more. Once I came back you showed up in front of the door way. I assume you were trying to leave." I wasn't going to lie so I agreed. "Well, I assume you have nowhere to go as well. Hmm, you're welcome to stay here. Unless, you would like to leave. If you want, I wont stop you." He pointed towards the door and I thought about it for a moment. "There isn't really much of a choice." I thought. I looked at him. He had a big smile on his face. Not a devious one but, a soft heart warming smile. Thats something else that had changed my mind to stay, was him and his jolliness. "Ill stay... If I'm welcome to." He nodded. "I bet you're still tired." He spoke. Thats when all the exhaustion had hit me. "Why am I so tired?" I wondered. I nodded and walked up to Undertaker. "Thank you Und--" I was cut off. "Adrian." He mumbled. I was confused at first. "Is that your name?" I asked. He nodded. "Hm, I like it. Goodnight... Adrian." I spoke. I was going to walk off but before I even had the chance to turn around he patted me on the head. I was kind of confused to on why but I didn't question it. I walked back to the room where I had woke up in. I sat down, thinking to myself, what was going on? Was this a dream of some sorts? Was I going crazy and imagining it all? I had no clue and there was no way of finding the answers. "Is this real? If this is, how do I leave?" I asked myself. I felt helpless. There was no way of me possibly figuring out how I appeared here. I laid down, staring at the closed door in front of me. "I need to stop worrying. Its only a dream. Once I fall asleep here, Ill end up waking up in the safe place I call home." I told myself.
I kept on switching sides, trying to get comfortable. Desperately trying to fall asleep. I couldn't stop thinking. I wasn't thinking about my situation. Instead, all I could think about was Undertaker. The way he acted when we encountered each other. When he gripped onto my hand, just staring at me. Why was he acting that way? I expected him to act foolish, mischievous, and crazy. He just wasn't acting the same he would in the show. He just was so ... strange." I gave out a sigh a dropped the thought. I laid on my back and stared up at the ceiling. I made sure to keep my mind clear from everything. My eyes began to flicker and thats when I mumbled, "Goodbye, Undertaker."
I opened my eyes slowly but surely. I was in a grassy area. With trees that seemed like they caved in on me. The sun was shining, and several white roses were surrounding me. "Where am I? Whats going on?" I asked. I stood up from the ground and looked around me. I noticed a trail of white rose peddles. I didn't know what to do besides follow them. "Where will they lead me?" I wondered. The farther I went down the trail the darker my surroundings became to be. I would have stopped and turned back but It was as if I was compelled to. I just kept walking and walking until I couldn't see anything but darkness and the trail had ran out when I hit that point. I looked around me for a sign of anything. "Hello Deary." I turned around to see Undertaker. He was dressed up in a black trench coat, with black dress pants and black shiny shoes to go along with it. He looked sharp. He looked... amazing. He looked the way he did when he was still working as head reaper. He didn't have his death scythe with him. It was just him and this time he was wearing glasses. He walked towards me and I just stood still. Not that I could move. It was like I didn't have control of anything. He grabbed my hand like he did before. He looked at me with admiration. "So sweet." He mumbled. That's when his facial features fell. He looked sad... lonely. He let go of my hand and took a few steps back. "I'm so sorry." He whispered. He turned his back towards me. "W-Wait, don't leave." I mumbled. Before he could start walking away I gripped onto his sleeve. He looked at me in curiosity. "Why ... are you acting this way?" I asked. "I'm sorry to have disturbed you. Just, go back to sleep."
My eyes shot open and what I had saw was the Undertaker, standing over me with my hand gripping onto his sleeve. I let go of him immediately. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" I spoke. "Wait, was that all happening? Was he actually talking to me?" I gave him a weird look. He just stared at me. "Adrian, why are you acting like this?" I asked. He just stared at me. He was acting really strange. "Why have you been so ... touchy?" He remained silent. "Its just, being the one who takes care of bodies for a living, the bodies just feel so lifeless and cold." He said with somewhat a smile on his face. "You're quite the opposite my dear. You're full of life and well, Its been a long time since I felt the warmth of another person, ehehe." Thats when my heart sank. Even an old fool like himself feels. He started to laugh but, without a smile. A laugh with a sad look covering his face. "I'll leave you alone. Eheh, I apologize for coming crossed you this way." He was going to walk away but I didn't let him. "What am I doing. This guy is the Undertaker. The head reaper, a guy who takes care of dead bodies for a living. I should be scared." I thought but, I wasn't. I slipped my hand on his cheek. I traced a bit of his scar with my thumb. He looked even more sad. "Adrian, smile." I started to tickle him like I did awhile ago and he couldn't help but start laughing. I stopped and he looked at me with a smile. "Heh, Thank you..." I smiled, "My name is (Your Name)." I spoke. He smirked, brushing his bangs back with his hand. Thats when I saw those beautiful green eyes he would always hide. I couldn't help but stare into them. "(Your Name), a beautiful name for a beautiful woman." I didn't know how he could call me beautiful. Back in the day what was considered beautiful were skinny women that wore fancy dresses. I just had a T-shirt with some jeans, only because I was too lazy to change into something before I passed out on my bed but then I came here. "Thank you." He nodded. "I assume you are no longer tired, correct?" He asked with a giggle. "Nope." I laughed a bit too. "Well, (Your Name). Where is it that you are from. You don't look like you're from around here." I nodded. "Its hard to say. I cant explain right now."
We both stared at each other and remained silent. It seemed we were both lost for words. "Well, I'll end up letting you stay here, so tell me about you." I didn't know what to tell him. " Um, my full name is (First-Middle-Last). I-I'm from (Your Country). I have (How many sisters/brothers - OR - no siblings nor older brothers or sisters.) I'd have to say I have a passion for music and well, I don't know what else i can tell you. Not alot about me." I said plopping down onto the bed. I looked down at the floor. "I would tell him more but everything else he likely wouldn't understand." I thought. "You're very interesting. You're definitely different from anyone I've ever met." He said. I nodded. I looked up at him once more, looking into his eyes. It was like they were glowing in the dark room we were in. He walked up towards me, bringing his face a bit close to mine. I didn't know how to react. My heart began to pound. I just saw a big smirk on his face. "Quiet I see. Once I'm done. I'll know everything, about you. Just give it time." He laughed, mashing his lips against mine. I was shocked at first. Everything went so fast that I couldn't tell how to feel about it. I gave into it. I placed both hands on his cheeks, enjoying the moment. "If this is a dream, its a dream I could relive forever but the question is, was this all a dream?"
