Chapter 46

Siya's POV:

"I'm afraid I cannot. Why don't you ask your husband yourself Siya, he would never deny anything to ask.. as far as I know him." He told me straightly.

"Uncle, please.... He will never tell me anything and turn his shoulders cold, if I ask him anything about his past. I don't know why he's behaving like this? But I wanna know. I'm his wife. See, I heard you both the other day, when you were instructing him about some pills, I wanna know uncle. I can't live without him and I love him, don't I deserve to know his health status?" I was screaming at the end startling my baby girl making her cry.

I consoled her and pleaded him again "Please tell me, if I happen to be your daughter will keep quiet like this?" He was taken aback by my question and sighed in defeat.

"Siya... Arjun was afraid. Afraid that you would leave him." He told me while shaking his head in negative.

"Why would I? I love that damn hard headed man for god sake. Why would I leave the man I love and he, who supposed to be my bloody husband and the father of my daughter?" I questioned him impatiently.

"Have you ever confessed your love to him Siya?" I was shut down with his single question.

Guessing my answer behind my silence he spoke " That's the reason. He fears that you would leave him after knowing the truth. If you didn't tell him, how will he know? Specially it's difficult for Arjun, who had only heartbreaks from his loved ones from birth. You should have confessed your love dear. He was insecure and he had all reasons to be one." My head hung low pouring tears down my cheek.

He's right, I should have confessed my love to him.

"I think it's high time. So... I'll tell you about him. About everything. You should know everything from the start to judge your husband." I looked at him expectantly and wiped my tears.

" Anbarasu, Arjun's dad. He was the son of the biggest landlord Shri.Shivakadaksham, Nallorpuram in Madurai. They held more than half of Madurai and his family inherited the royal blood line of the late king who ruled the place.

Your father in law is a great man and very talented. He's loved by everyone around him and many people yearned to gain his attention.

Anbarasu left to London in order to pursue his masters in business management. There he met Lakshmi, Arjun's mother. Surprisingly, she was also from Madurai and stole Anbarasu's heart at their very first meeting. They fell in love and their love for each other stood eternal. After completing their studies, they came back to Madurai and told Arjun's grandfather, Shri. Sivakadaksham about their love.

He erupted like an volcano because he had already gave his word about Anbarasu marrying his own sister's daughter, that's Anbarasu's aunt, Kokila's daughter.. Aarti. ( Marrying one's own cousin happens in India.) Moreover Lakshmi was from a normal family which was a big obstacle for him to get his son married to her.

After months of convincing and pleadings Shivayya( Shivakadaksham) agreed for Anbu(Anbarasu) and Lakshmi's marriage. Nallorepuram celebrated their wedding, their marriage was like a festival to the whole of Madurai.

Anbu and Lakshmi started their life on a happy note with blooming love and unbreakable trust between them. " told Mani uncle, I could visualize everything he told me. My husband has a royal blood line, no wonder he looks like a king.

" Shivayya accepted Lakshmi as his daughter in law and started to treat her as his own daughter. Everyone was happy except Arjun's aunt, Kokila's family. Her daughter Aarti was devastated and vowed to destroy Lakshmi. Aarti never loved Anbu, she just wanted the title of being Anbu's wife and the right to enjoy his properties. Anbu and Lakshmi's love marriage ruined her dreams and shattered her soul.

After a year, Lakshmi gave birth to a lovely baby boy. Entire Nallorepuram rejoiced their new prince's birth and Anbu was out of the world.

He was named Arjun, Arjun Anbarasu. The legal hire of Anbarasu. The whole palace overwhelmed with joy and happiness. " told Uncle with a million dollar smile, even I couldn't stop grining like an idiot.

"Then what happened Uncle?" I encouraged him to say further.

"Your husband was the apple of their eyes. Exactly like your daughter Ariya, he wrapped everyone within his little finger. He was so damn close to his mother and he couldn't spend a second without Lakshmi. And Anbu, Arjun was Anbu's world. Your husband was so emotionally attached to his parents.

Arjun turned six months old that was when the Strom reached the palace and changed everyone's life upside down. He was a snake in disguise of a man Siya. They didn't know that, that snake was about to destroy their whole universe.

His name was Shakti, Shakthivel." His face turned red and he spelled that person's name with utter discomfort.

He continued " Lakshmi, your mother in law. She was something Siya. She was some kind of a magic, an ethnic beauty and an epitome of love. You cannot find a person like her with such kind heart and pure soul. She accepts everything, everyone and has got the immense strength to forgive her sinners. Your mother in law... she's an angel, no wonder Anbu was head over heels for her.

Shakthi loved Lakshmi, he was her childhood friend. But Lakshmi was unaware of that fact. Lakshmi's marriage and the news of Arjun's birth dropped bomb in his life. And he despised Arjun, he couldn't digest the fact that Lakshmi being a mother to someone else's child.

So Shakthi befriended Anbu and grew close to the family slowly and wisely. He played Anbu and sent him back to London in the name of flourishing business, leaving Lakshmi to take care of baby Arjun. She couldn't concentrate on the business in India, finally the full power went to Shakti's hands.

Shivayya got to know about his evil intentions soon, so Shakti killed him and set it up like an accident. He also spread the rumors that the new born Arjun, was a negative energy to the family and his star sign was ridiculous to kill his grandfather.

People of Nallorepuram started hating Arjun believing Shakti's words. He asked his men to burn Anbu's passport and got him stucked in London. Meanwhile....(sighing) he started torturing Lakshmi, who was still blindfolded to his evil intentions.

She believed his friend not knowing the fact that he was behind all this. Shakti started to portray her as a mental in front of the people with the help of Aarti.

Lakshmi couldn't concentrate on her baby properly, making Arjun yearning for his mother's love.

Arjun turned one, that day was his birthday. Anbu was about to reach Nallorpuram....but before he could reach..." Uncle wiped his tears.

"What happened uncle? Tell me please..." My heart was beating erotically.

"Shakti....he...he raped Lakshmi in front of Arjun, she was screaming and crying for help but a one year baby boy could only cry for his mother. He couldn't save her.

Shakti... Shakti hanged Lakshmi alive in front of Arjun. The little boy who couldn't spend a second without his mom didn't know he was going to lose his mother forever.

He killed Lakshmi.

Arjun's cries resonated throughout the walls of the palace that was when Anbu reached the place. He realized he was late, late to save his wife. Shakti successfully convinced people that Lakshmi committed suicide because of her metal illness.

Anbu blamed himself for her death. He thought he shouldn't have left his family alone. Shakti tried convincing Anbu that his son was a bad omen that he took the life of his grandfather and mother.

Anbu became furious, he was not ready to hear a word against his son. He took full responsibility of Arjun and his business in India. Shakti was annoyed and planned something terrible. He convinced Anbu to marry Aarti for the sake of Arjun telling him that Arjun needs a mother.

Five years passed...

Anbu married Aarti when Arjun turned five. Your husband is a one flawless soul Siya, he missed his mother and started depending more on his father. Anbu was his everything. Arjun grew to be a very silent but a very brilliant boy. But he can't handle the emptiness in his life without his mother.

Aarti started showing her true colors after her marriage with Anbu. She despised Arjun and took out all her anger stored for Lakshmi on Arjun.

She used to beat Arjun making sure it was painful but didn't leave any marks on his body at the same time, she knew Anbu would kill her. Aarti used to starve Arjun for days and fed him only with old rotten foods when he was at the verge of passing out. She threatned Arjun that if he ever tries to open his mouth to Anbu, she would kill Anbu in front of Arjun.

Your poor husband tolerated everything to save his only family, his dad. Truth can't be hidden long Siya... Anbu got to know everything about Shakti's plan and the torture Arjun going through. Anbu's blood boiled imagining Arjun in pain, also his father's and wife's death.

Anbu didn't have any physical relationship with Aarti. He got to know Aarti's affair with Shakti. They even had a illegitimate child named Ajay before Aarti got married to Anbu. He found out Ajay was two years younger to Arjun which means Aarti had a longtime relationship with Shakti. He confronted them about their betrayal.... but... but...they..." Uncle tried to gulp down his cries. While I lost my balance and leaned back on my chair listening to the torture my Arjun went through.

Uncle continued "Anbu was beated to blood and pulp and... And... He was....was crushed under a rock in front of Arjun, all Arjun's screams and cries fell on deaf years. After killing Anbu, Shakti legally married Aarti. For the sake of world he adopted his own son Ajay who was born to him and Aarti. Thereby he took the whole power and charge of the palace and properties. " I couldn't stop crying. Oh my God... Ar..Arjun has gone through so much.

"Arjun's world tumbled when his lovely father left him alone to fight his demons. Arjun was locked up in the dungeons of the palace. Ajay enjoyed the luxurious of being a legal hire of the palace by eliminating Arjun from the picture. Ajay used to treat Arjun as shit, takes out his Anger on Arjun, starve him. Ajay wanted Arjun to bow in front of him.

After years of torture Arjun ran away from the palace when he was ten. He decided to put an stop to his five years of torture and avenge his parents death.

He slept on streets, did small jobs like washing cars and vehicles and ate food. Your husband is a very respectable man Siya... He never begged for anything in his life not even to his step mom to stop beating him. But he begged for you. He begged to your father to marry you, that's a different story you will know soon.

Now coming back, a small trader from Chennai liked that ten year old Arjun for his honesty and took that boy with him. But in reality he's a big ma... I guess you should ask this to your husband. He'll tell you don't worry. It's not my place to tell you that.

CEN have you ever heared about it Siya?" Mani Uncle asked me while I shook my head in negative. I was not stable to think anything. Only my Arjun occupied all my mind.

" CEN - CHILDHOOD EMOTIONAL NEGLECT.

Your husband is a CEN victim. He was psychologically disturbed from a very young age.

People say Love and care is important to raise children but the most important factor in raising a baby is ATTENTION.

Every baby soul carves for attention from their parents. When the parents fails the results were dreadful.

Your husband was so much attached to your mother in law Lakshmi, he can't even spend a second without her. When Lakshmi died in front of him, that poor baby cried....cried....and cried for his mother whole night and became unconscious. That was Arjun's first Emotional Halt.

When Arjun was five he witnessed his dad, his only family die in front of him, Arjun's screams were unanswered. After seeing his dad's smashed body he fell on the ground and became silent. A kind of silence that ran deep down his soul ignoring his weeping heart. That was his second Emotional Halt.

Your husband has been tortured continuously by Aarti, Shakti and Ajay. He felt alone and helpless that resulted his enraged behavior. His anger was something which was out of control Siya. Usually CEN children experience stuffs like

* Depression

* Maturity than their age

* Sleep difficulties

* Insecurities

* Anger etc

Your husband's hopelessness turned him a beast. His anger management is less than poor only then I came to know he was also struggling with IED.

IED- INTERMITTENT EXPLOSIVE DISORDER

Its a behavioral disorder characterized by explosive outburst of anger and violence often to the point of rage that's out of hand.

Arjun misunderstood that you loved someone else and your love for him was all a game. He has got reasons to think like that Siya, he will explain you that.

But he's innocent. Your husband was devastated to know that you didn't love him, there he experienced his third Emotional Halt.

In that point his IED issue took upper hand Siya. He lost himself, he didn't remember anyone not even his ownself. That was when he raped you.

Raping you was a protective measure taken by his brain to keep you close to him always, Arjun's anger played worse game.

He didn't even know what he was up to Siya, his practical brain was shut, he was not Arjun. He came back to his senses only the next day. He saw you lying limp like a corpse, he didn't even know he was the one who raped you. Your husband is innocent, I hope you understand.

Get this clear into your mind, Arjun didn't rape you, the one who raped you was the IED victim. There was no such memory of raping you recorded in Arjun's brain. " I felt numb, Blood drained off of my face.

He's innocent. I have been punishing my man for something he wasn't responsible during his senses.

Something unexplainably blocked my throat, I fell on the floor by my knees from my chair. Ariya started crying but I couldn't turn her side. Uncle's words were revolving all around me.

He's innocent.

He's helpless...

IED- INTERMITTENT EXPLOSIVE DISORDER

"Siya....Siya are you OK dear? Siya... Siya listen to me." Someone shook my shoulder to get attention and I saw Mani uncle trying to get my attention.

"I... I....ha.....have.... one las..t question Uncle. Why didn't Arjun tell me all this?" I asked him trying to control my whole shivering body.

"Because he's afraid, he fears that you would leave him after know his mental issues. He feels that you no longer live with him after knowing his metal disorders. He's insecure." He told looking at the floor making me sighed in defeat.

No wonder Arjun afraid to tell me the truth, I have never confessed my love to him, never gave him hope, never made him feel secure.

This time it was I to be blamed. It was I.

I stood up and tried to leave the place "Where are you going?" asked Mani uncle.

No words came out of my mouth, so I ran out of the building holding Ari tight in my arms.
