Chapter 41

  Arjun's POV:

               My eyes opened to flash the innocent face of my heartbeat sleeping soundly in my chest. My daughter, my everything.. Siya wasn't in the bed may be she's preparing our breakfast.

          Everything is normal and I'm leading a happy life, Siya loves me so much but she wasn't ready to utter that three magical words to me. My stubborn wife is stubborn enough to bring her love in words.

                She had changed, she's no more a naughty young girl but a responsible lovely mother. I can sense the change in her but I love this too. There still my playful naughty Siya in there but I need to bring her out.

            Damn! I to need to take her out of my mansion first, she's frustrated and so do I. My lovely ladies need to be safe than enjoying freedom. Safety is my priority.

             A delicate pair of fingers pulled my beard suddenly. My daughter is up. She looked at me with her half closed eyes and started shaking my head by pulling my beard. It's her habit of notifying that she's awake. If anyone else dared to touch my beard I would have ripped the head out of their body but for my daughter I'm ready to place my heart in her hands to play.

          I hugged her close in my arms engulfing her in a warm hug. "My Heartbeat..." I kissed her chubby cheeks.

     She kissed me and gave a heartwarming smile "Acchu..baa!" she told in her blabbering baby voice. It means my daughter wanted to use the toilet. She's toilet trained and Siya took a lot of efforts to train her.

            I took her to the restroom freshen her up as well as me then we both descended down the stairs.

        "What next aunty? Sweets, let prepare sweets in our home aunty we don't have to buy it from outside. And strictly no crackers my baby is still young to play that and it's not safe." Siya was sitting on the couch with a list in her hands while biting the back end of the pen. My cook was helping her with the list but for what?

            I went near her while my heartbeat jumped on her mother, she hugged Siya tightly and kissed her cheeks. "My baby... You are up.  Come.." She took her in her arms and walked towards our kitchen.

               Siya was wearing a light pink Saree complementing her looks. I love this in her, always simple yet the most beautiful. She started feeding Ari her meal while she served me food.

           "Why are you preparing that list? " I asked her.

      "Because next week we have a festival... It's Ariya's first Diwali so I wanted her to enjoy." She told feeding Ari. Our last dewali was a disaster, Siya was at the verge of anger that she ignored celebrating. And me, I have never celebrated any festivals in my life so I know nothing. But Ariya.. I wanted my daughter to enjoy to the fullest.

        "Siya so... When are you going to Shop?" I asked her.

       "Now. After feeding Ari... Online Shopping." She told me with a saddened face.

          "Get ready in the evening, we are going out for shopping and just pack Ari's food, we'll both have dinner outside." I told her and she was looking me shocked the next second, she jumped on me and hugged me tight. I kissed her head and hugged her. Ari started clapping her hands looking at me and Siya, she loves me and Siya getting along.

        I then started to my office. I have a very important meeting today and indeed it's a very important day. The second I stepped out of my house my demeanor changed to my old cold self. I have to be cold to face this ruthless world which once again betrayed me and tried to snatch my Siya from me. I can't let that happen again, I can't lose my wife or daughter. This world deserves a cold Arjun.

        I reached my office and stepped into my conference room, there seated all my share holders and other small investors of my 63 companies.

       They didn't bother to greet me when I enter. "You'll all repend for this." I thought to myself then sat on the main seat and asked them "So... Why am I called here? What's the motto of this meeting?" I asked them.

        "We don't want to work with you anymore Mr. Arjun. We are taking back our shares." told Mr.Suresh.

       "But why? What's the reason?" I asked them even though I knew the exact reason, my blood is boiling with betrayal, they all are working for Ajay.

       "We sold our shares to the new invertor from London. We are no more with you Arjun, so now you have nothing left here. Pack your stuffs and leave this Office. We are awaiting our new boss." Told one bloody ba****d with a smirk. But I controlled the urge in me to break his teeth. My anger is not good for me and my wife didn't like it.

      I smiled and told them " Fine, I'll leave but let me see your new boss at least, let me greet him. " I told them.

       "Fine but before that get up from that seat that's meant for our boss not you." told Ganesh, I felt very sorry for me, I have been a fool. He was a small vendor in the roads I recognized his talents and gave him few of my shares which could help him for a good living. I never thought I'll see this day.

Blood sucker!

       I stood up from my seat and folded my hands waiting for his NEW BOSS

        Then entered my only best friend whom I trusted with my life, wearing a black suit and thundering bootsteps. He looked very intimidating like always.

My Surya, My best friend.

        He walked passed me with a smirk and greeted everyone. "How are you all? Don't panick, I'm not with Khaleja industries anymore. Now, I'm working for my new boss." told him proudly.

New boss my foot!

     "So, I would like to welcome the new CEO of this company.
Mr. Arjun Khaleja of Ariya industries to take this seat and also take in charge." All the heads snapped towards me with a terrified shock.

      I walked to the main seat with slow and horrific steps making them squirm in fear. Surya hugged me and I hugged him back. It's been months since we met. Everything is a part of our plan. I had to plan slowly and wisely for this day... For this day to throw all the negativity and negative persons in my life.

      If I was Old Arjun, I would have shot them straight on their heads, the day I got to know their plot against me. But my wife didn't like that version of me. I just wanted to be my Siya's Arjun not Arjun Khaleja anymore.

Flashback:

Naming ceremony day of Ariya:

          " Siya, I have an important work outside. I'll be back soon till then take care of you and my heartbeat." I told Siya and left the house. I parked my car in a crowed street and called Surya with my new number.

            I dialed his number "Hello!" He sounded so broken, I felt really bad that I hurted him so much. Now its time for me to get into action.

         "Surya... Listen to me, leave that phone of yours in your home and come to our secret place, I want to see you. And yeah... Distract the people and take a public transport." I told him curtly.

    "Ye..yes!" He told and cut the line. I took a bus and reached the outskirts of the city, I walked a kilometer into the forest and waited for almost 15 minutes and then came Surya.

    He looked pathetic with that lifeless eyes of his and bearded face. He was never like this, not even when Sanjana left him. Am I that much important to him?

     He came to me and I hugged him tight, a friendly hug I missed for months " I'm sorry Arjun... Please.. I'm..." He tried to explain.

      "Shhh... Its OK. I forgave you. I don't want us to talk on that topic anymore my friend. We have many things to sort out now." I told him.

      "No Arjun..." He started but I cut him off. " Surya, you did everything for your daughter. Do you know when I realized your stand, the moment I held my daughter in my hand. You are a father you did what's best for Kavya. It was I who didn't understand you. I'm sorry. " I told him feeling my heart heavy.

     "Daughter... It's a girl then. Congratulations Arjun. How's Siya? How's your daughter? Have you selected the name yet? " he asked so many questions.

      " Thanks... It's Ariya... Ariya Arjun Khaleja. Siya is fine Surya they are home." I told him.

        "I'm coming today to meet them." He told me.

        "No. " I told Surya curtly.

     His face fell down and asked me " So you didn't forgave me yet." He told hinging his head low.

     "God! I don't want people to know we are back together Surya, we need to work in silence. Here take this satellite phone and we are going to converse only in this hereafter for a while until we fix everything. Don't even let Sanjana know about this. Understand. Many of our investors are plotting against us I'm sure they'll take time but before that we need to work and take the position. You were taking care of our London company isn't it? Buy all our company's left over shares in our London consent name. I'll tell you the rest of the proceedings in phone." I told Surya .

     "Arjun, before that we need to kill that ba****d." Seethed Surya. My eyes turned red thinking about that Ajay but it's not the right time.

     "No Surya, I have a plan. You try to get his company's shares as well without his knowledge and make our side powerful. Bring all his illegal business to limelight in the end he'll run out of this country for his life and to escape the police and we'll finish him there." Surya was taken aback hearing me.

      "And stop all our illegal business. We are not gonna do it anymore, beca-" he cut me off and  told with a teasing smile "because Siya will not like it."

      "Not only Siya even Sanjana will not like to indulge you in troublesome business." He hugged me again.

    "Let's go." With that we left to our respective places and maintained being separated.

END OF THE FLASHBACK

     Surya shook my hand, and told
  " Congratulations Arjun."

     "Sir please sir, we are sorry don't do this to us. We have family. " pleaded Mr. Subash.

     "Get the hell out of my sight before I bury you all deep under six feet. Out!" I yelled outraged and signaled Surya to tend them all out.

    I don't even want to see their face and curse them. What's the use? End of the day I'll feel guilty for punishing their families but they deserve it.

    Finally!

     "Good to meet you after so long bro.." Told Surya.

     "Same here Surya." I patted his back.

    "Arjun guess what our other plan is also working, Ajay is running out of the country to save his life. Asian and African police were at his back. So he's trying to protect himself." He told with a million dollar smile. I couldn't explain how happy and relaxed I am.

     "Great! So all his men are out of city and finally we can take our family out. Siya wanted to go out for Shopping why don't you bring Sanjana and Kavya. We'll have a family day out. " I told him exited.
  
      "That's a great idea...finally after months. I'll inform Sanjana and meet you at five in the evening." Told him and left the place and I headed to home feeling relaxed.

Siya's POV:

              Ariya was busy scribbling with her colors on a paper in the name of drawing. I texted dad and send him few of Ariya's pictures he was so ecstatic and was happy. He went on a tour to north India with his friends and I miss him.

              I looked at Ms. Attitude she was so engrossed in her so called drawings unaware of her surroundings. I decided to irritate her and I love annoying her.

        I poked her thigh, she looked at me but I pretend looking at my phone she then resumed drawing. Then, I pinched her right hand, she turned to look at me but I pretend looking at my phone again.

     I then slapped her back this time my devil pounced on me and bite my cheeks with her soft rabbit teeth " Aaahh... You little devil." I started tickling her while the walls resonated her laughter.

   " I love you! " I told her, while she hugged and kissed my nose.

        "Arjun told me he's gonna take us out today. Come let's go and pick a beautiful dress for you." I took her in my arms and was about to walk to the closet just when I heard a knock.

     "Come in!" I told.

     "Mam, you have got these flowers." told Priya our maid and placed the flowers in my room.

     Arjun might have sent this, Ariya started playing with the flowers, I took the note attached to it.

           * Your husband is not the exact person you framed in your mind. Stay away from him to save you and your daughter's life.* my hands started shaking when I read that note. Who sent this? Is it true?

         Arjun was right. People are at the back of us and trying to separate us. Who's behind all this and why? I know my Arjun, he's the exact person I framed in my mind I don't want anyone's certificate.

I know my husband!

        But I need to play along and find the secrets behind this note and most importantly the person behind all this because I know Arjun would never tell me anything if I ask him.

    Suddenly Ariya plucked the chit from my hand and started to scribble in it with her colors. Knowingly or unknowingly she always supports her dad.
