Rin could only grumble a small apology to Mephesto as he pulled out his phone and checked recent texts.

The last message stated: I can't wait to spend Valentine's with you.

Checking the date and confirming it, Rin uttered a low, "Damn it I completely forgot!" Before rushing off.

"Ah, Riiin!" Sadao called out about to run after him.

"Father! This type of behavior is not acceptable!" Mephesto shouted, forcing Sadao to give him a small smile.

"Sorry?"

Mephesto sighed and shook his head before snapping his fingers. "I have a proposal!" he said, brightening up.

Quickly pulling out his wallet, Rin slapped his money on the counter as the cashier rung up his items which consisted of a large bouquet of violets, and a heart shaped chocolate box.

"Thank you and come again," The cashier said pleasantly as Rin took his items and hurried out.

His phone rang in his pocket and he struggled to pull it out as his Valentine's day gifts shifted in his arms.

"Hello?" He answered, pausing at the stoplight and shifting on his feet.

"Rin where are you? Class is about to begin. You can't keep coming to class late!"

"I'm sorry Yukio, but I have to deliver my Valentine's gifts to someone."

"You have a Valentine?"

"Don't say it like that! Just because I don't get hundreds of chocolates like you doesn't mean I can't have a Valentine."

"Well You need to hurry back and get to class. And also, there's something else I need to talk to you about. You see-"

"Sorry, gotta go bye!"

Rin hung up the phone and quickly crossed the street. He made it back to True Cross Academy and headed to the dorms.

Opening the door, he came face to face with Lucifer who was holding a small platter  of food.

"Happy Valentines day," Lucifer said.

"Happy Valentines day!" Rin responded.

The two exchanged gifts and sat down.

"You forgot, didn't you?" Lucifer inquired as his fingers lifted up the price tag from the flowers.

"Psh, no! I remembered!" Rin said, picking at the food and plopping one of the items in his mouth.

"You're not a very good cook," He stated.

"Yeah, but that's why you're the one who does the cooking," Lucifer responded. He took a piece of chocolate and placed It in his mouth.

Rin watched him eat another piece of chocolate and slowly put the food down. He then leaned over and pressed his lips against Lucifer's.

Both closed their eyes as they became engrossed in the kiss, with Rin pushing Lucifer down as he wrapped his arms around him.
