The obstacle race, the cavalry battle, and the tournament. Two of these events have passed, and Izuku had studied a few quirks that interested him.

  "I was right.." he muttered. "The girl, she has All Might's strength. She also has a gravity based quirk. She would be perfect.."

  "Bakugo's improved greatly since the USJ. His explosions aren't nearly as puny as they were. I'll need to look out around him."

  "Todoroki, son of Endeavour.. his quirk seems like two, but it's two halves of a whole. His quirk would be excellent to experiment with."

  "Kirishima's hardening, near impenetrable defence.. he too has improved since the USJ.."

  "Iida, brother of Ingenium.. what would happen if your quirks were combined? I'd be intrigued to find out..."

  He jotted notes on each quirk carefully, noting uses, weaknesses and combinations that could work.

  Finally it was time for the tournament, and Izuku watched as the student's quirks clashed. Hardening Vs explosion. Gravity and strength Vs half hot half cold. Engine Vs gadgets and zoom.

  The brown haired girl fought an interesting opponent first. Hitoshi Shinsou. His quirk seemed to be some kind of mind control. It could be useful, but not necessary.

  Secondly, she faced off against Todoroki. He only seemed to use his ice half, never his fire. Uraraka broke her bones when using the strength, which was to be expected. She still needed to get used to the power of All Might himself. Eventually, Todoroki used his flames, blowing up the arena.

  Uraraka won the tournament overall, using her strength and gravity combo.

  Izuku found her interesting, as not many people could handle more than one quirk.

  Once the live broadcast of the festival ended, he headed downstairs to the cell.

  "Good news Ingenium, your little brother came 4th in the UA sports festival. Your two quirks are so similar but so different.. I might need little Tenya for my experiments too." He said.

  "Leave Tenya out of this!!" The hero yelled.

  "But your quirks are so perfect together.. you know I can't just leave them apart." Izuku said. "He and everyone else think the Hero Killer got you, which will lure him to Hosu."

  Izuku walked away to the lab next door, leaving the hero to his thoughts.

  He opened a safe, and pulled out a vial of blood, examining it under a powerful microscope. He took a sample of his own blood, dabbing a drop of both onto his fingertip, activating his quirk. He re-examined the new mixture with the microscope, and sighed thoughtfully.

  He pulled a notebook from the safe, and encrypted a new entry.

  Quirk factors not bonding. Neither DNA is used to possessing multiple quirk factors, so it cannot bond. A sample of stable DNA with multiple quirk factors is needed. Ochako Uraraka and All For One have this.

  Further research required with similar quirks. Iida brothers? Similar DNA and similar quirk factors. May bond the factors into one quirk. Tenya Iida DNA required.

  Izuku closed his notebook, putting away his equipment and leaving the lab. He had heard that the Yakuza had been getting into genetics recently. He would need to find and meet the leader of the Yakuza. In the meantime, Izuku needed to locate the Hero Killer. He wanted a certain hero in training alive.

  He entered the bar, accepting the drink Kurogiri offered him.

  "How are things coming along Izuku?" The screen asked.

  "Not terribly well, but I have a few leads to follow. By the way Kurogiri, could you look around Hosu for he hero killer for me? I wish to speak with him." Izuku said.

  Kurogiri nods, opening a portal to Hosu and leaving.

  "Also, the Yakuza have been doing similar research as me Sensei.. I would like to meet their leader if possible."

  All for One hums thoughtfully through the screen.

  "Interestingly, the leader has the same name and quirk as you. Overhaul. His real name is Kai Chisaki." He said.

  Izuku was intrigued.

  *So he has come to the same conclusion I have?*

  "That is interesting, but it does make sense. Thank you Sensei, I will continue my research."

  "Very well Izuku, I expect great things from you."

  Izuku stopped in the doorway, a dark smile on his face.

  "You should Sensei. I'm going to save the world.." he said.

 
  It did not take Kurogiri long to locate the Hero killer. Izuku received a message, telling him that the killer had been located.

  A portal opened in the bar, allowing the hero killer to stumble through.

  Izuku rose to meet their guest.

  "Good evening. It is a pleasure to meet you. I have followed your ideals closely, and I am quite impressed." He said.

  "You are Overhaul?" The killer asked, scanning Izuku.

  Izuku smiled. "Yes, I am. I have requested this meeting for a single reason. I want you to leave the little brother of Ingenium alive. If you could even get a blood sample, I would greatly appreciate it."

  Stain was confused. "Why would I kill Ingenium's little brother?"

  "Because the media and everyone else believe you killed Ingenium. His brother will come looking for revenge, very un hero like I know." Izuku explained.

  "Then why should I leave another false hero alive?" Stain asked.

  Izuku smiled again. "Because he is only a child. He can still learn to change his ways. And I don't condone the killing of children. In fact, I dislike the thought of killing anyone. So if you do not leave Ingenium's brother alive, I will personally hunt you down and hand you to the police."

  "And what makes you think you can stop me?" Stain asked.

  Suddenly, he felt a sensation of something poking the back of his neck. Something sharp. A bead of sweat rolled down Stain's forehead. Izuku had his hand on the wall. Behind Stain, a 7 foot spike of brick and mortar extended from the wall next to Kurogiri.

  Izuku was still smiling.
