A/N: This story features canon characters that are a bit "OOC" in nature. This is how I normally end up writing my stories, so I apologize in advance for the OOC personalities (Though not very OOC after all). I don't own Naruto, as I am NOT Masashi Kishimoto. On with the story!
Kimiko POV
So it's Christmas again. And some lunatic decided "Hey let's have a Christmas party!" Oh wait...that was my twin, Kiba Inuzuka. It's been a week since prep started, and now the party is here!
Christmas Eve
"I'm so jealous of all of you" I say to my friends.
"Because we all are married with kids?" Sakura asked.
"Exactly. I mean, Shino and I have been married for three years, which is about the same length of time as Hinata and Naruto. And Hinata, you and Naruto have TWO children. Shino and I only have a two year old, and another on the way!" I say, glancing at my stomach.
"Relax, Kimi. We will be new parents again soon enough." Shino said, wrapping his arms around me.
I nod, then follow his gaze to our two year-old son Tadashi, who was playing with Kiba. I took a moment to look around at my friends. Naruto was playing with Boruto, who was three. Himawari was sitting in Hinata's lap, her mom braiding her hair. Sasuke and Sarada were reading a book together. Sai and Inojin were painting. Shikamaru and His son Shikadai were asleep, much to Temari's chagrin. Said kunoichi was helping her brothers Gaara and Kankuro decorate the tree. Karui was rolling her eyes and shaking her head at her husband Choji and daughter Chocho's actions. Currently, the said father-daughter pair were feasting on the majority of the snacks at the party. Neji and TenTen had disappeared, probably making out some where. Lee and his mini look alike were doing push-ups.
3rd Person POV
Later
Everyone had finally gone home, and Kimiko put Tadashi to bed with help from her nindog, Eriko (A/N: Eriko is Akamaru's twin). Shino took care of the presents for Tadashi and Kimi, then went to bed. Kimi joined him after setting out her own presents. "This was fun, wasn't it Shino?" Kimi asked, getting a nod from her husband. Shino kissed Kimiko's forehead and wrapped his arms around her. They looked at the clock just as it hit midnight. "Merry Christmas Shino" Kimiko said.
"Merry Christmas Kimi" Shino replied.
They both closed their eyes and went to sleep after one final kiss goodnight.
