Chapter Twenty Seven

Allen dug through his drawers until he pulled a dark grey sweatpants out and tugged them on with a sigh. Turning he looked at his sleeping mate with a fond smile, before slipping out of the room while slipping on a T-shirt.

"Morning dad." He greeted through a yawn.
"What's for breakfast?."

Neah tsked at him from where he was making pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes to be exact. Allen perked up at the smell.
"Hold your horse child, " Neah laughed.
"Here, I have some already done, why don't you go have breakfast with Kanda hmm?."

Allen grinned, moving forward to help stack the dishes on to the tray his uncle held out for him.
"You don't mind?."

Neah shook his head at him, taking a minute to turn around and smack a kiss to his temple.
"I don't,  I'm spending breakfast with your father."

Allen pretended to gag, laughing when Neah pushed him playfully to the side, scoffing about how he was Like that with Kanda all the time.
Allen could only shrug, cause hey, his mate was a walking Adonis that needed attention all the time.

Allen blinked when something crossed his mind, like a stroll in the park and he was suddenly pointing at his dad with a unimpressed look on his face.
"Hey, where's my surprise you promised me?."

Neah paused briefly, like he had forgotten what it was himself. Finally he sent Allen a sly grin over his shoulder and laughed softly.
"I'm sure you'll be surprise, its waiting for you at school."

"School?." What else could be waiting for Allen at school other that books, annoying teachers and Miranda.
"What... I'm lost here."

"Stay lost then."

"Dad!." He huffed, crossing his arms and puffing his cheeks up like a chipmunk. Neah laughed turning the Stove off when the last pancake was finished. He pushed his finger into one of Allen's inflated cheek and all the air whoosed out.

"You'll enjoy more if I don't tell you love, " Neah said gently,
"Now, go eat your breakfast with your mate and get ready for classes."

Allen relented, sticking his tongue out at his dad before hightailing it up the stairs with the tray, laughing when his dad called after him to be careful.
Pushing open the door with his hip, Allen entered and kicked it close with his foot.

Kanda was laying on his back, one hand buried in his thick hair and another on his bare chest, the blankets were up to his waist and one of his feet was hanging off the bed.
His eyes were open though, and watching as Allen lifted the tray onto the nightstand by the bed.

"Ready to get up yet?." Allen hummed, he opened the draw underneath the stand and grabbed two black colored hair tie and a hair brush.
He gathered his shoulder length hair in his hands and tied it up in a sloppy bun, immediately feeling eyes zoned onto his exposed neck. Allen pushed his bangs out of his face and kept them back with two hair clips.
"Babe?." He asked, looking at Kanda from the corner of his eye.

"Yeah?." He answered followed by a yawn.
"I don't feel like getting up yet."

Allen laughed at that, it wasn't everyday that his mate wanted to laze around. He faced him now, hands on his hips and a teasing smile on his face.
"I'm sure our baby would find it funny that its father was this lazy."

Kanda gave him a fanged fill grin.
"That's alright," he said airily.
"They'll have moments of laziness too."

Allen scoffed, pulling on Kanda's foot as he passed him to head into the bathroom, he had to brush his teeth before he ate.
He was placing a good amount of toothpaste onto his toothbrush when Kanda came in, yawning.

He handed him the spare toothbrush he had and passed the toothpaste to him before he shoved his own into his mouth and proceeded to brush.
He shivered when Kanda's fingers brushed against his bare neck.

"After we finish eating, okay." He said, knowing full well that Kanda was hungry, his mate had went about four days without biting him and Allen wasn't going to let him suffer any longer.

Kanda grunted, fingers sliding down to slip underneath his shirt, palm against his abdomen. There was a small bump there, he found out last night and spend the rest of it crying out of happiness. Keeping Kanda up with him, the man held him as he sobbed.

Allen quickly dried his face and poked Kanda in the ribs as he walked back into his room, snickering at Kanda's grunt. His mate wasn't really a morning person that's for sure.

Stretching his arms over his head to get rid the last bit of sleepiness from his body, Allen pushed his curtains aside and slide the door of his balcony open, inhaling deeply.
He reached for the tray on his dresser and placed it on the small table he had outside. Then he pulled the extractable shed overhead so Kanda won't burn

Said man was tying his hair up as he walked outside. Allen hummed, squeaking when Kanda pulled him against his chest, hands trailing from his shoulders down his arms to lace with his fingers and wrap them both around his waist. Kanda was nuzzling into his neck and Allen huffed.

"You want breakfast to get cold?." He asked, turning his head to the side to press a kiss to Kanda's temple.

"Don't really mind." Came the muffled reply.
Allen smiled.

"Come on, let's have breakfast, then you'll get a drink.. Then we'll have to get ready for classes. How does that sound?." He reasoned, smiling when Kanda pressed a kiss to his neck before letting him go and plopping down into one of the chairs.

"So, what did you bug your dad about this morning?." Kanda asked, his mouth working around a piece of bacon.

"My surprise." Allen replied, stabbing his fork into his pancakes.
"He told me that I'll get it at school. What ever that means." He was grumbling at the end making his mate chuckle.

"I'm sure he doesn't mean anything bad, love." The Japanese man soothed.
"We'll see when we reach there, okay."

Allen hummed in reply. They both finished their breakfast quickly, Allen placing the dishes on the tray when Kanda grabbed him by the waist and pulled him back.
Laughing, Allen merely tilted his head to the side and shivered when fangs slide into his flesh.

Getting bitten was something Allen would never get used to, getting bitten by Yuu was something he'll never get used to. After three mouthfuls Kanda pulled back, licking the wounds close and hugging Allen tightly to his chest.

"Gotta get ready you know." Allen poked at his biceps around his chest, and nice biceps they were.
"Do you want dad barging in here just to tell us that?."

Kanda groaned, releasing him. Allen spun around and stood on his tiptoes, but the farthest he could reach was the jut of Kanda's chin.
His mate laughed, leading down for him to press two kisses on his cheek before shoving him away to get ready.

"I wander what the surprise could be." Allen mumbled, hands linked with Kanda as they walked towards the first class of their day, fortunately together.

"How about you look up and see?." The amused voice wasn't Kanda, Allen snapped his head up to see equally white hair with a bandana tied around the forehead, and long blonde hair with twin dots on the forehead.

Allen's lips broke out in a grin and he released Kanda's hand to run forward and wrap himself around his cousin.
"Wisely, you jerk!." He laughed.
He then turned to the blonde and hugged him also.
"And Link! You guys could have said you were coming!."

"Hah!." Wisely smirked.
"We wanted to surprise you, told Neah to shut his trap also."

Allen pouted, before he spun around and raced back to Kanda, grabbing his amused looking mates hand and tugged him along.

"Ho?." Wisely grinned, nudging a half amused, half seldom looking Link.
"And who is this?."

Allen smiled brightly, a fact that both guys didn't miss.

"The is Yuu Kanda. He's-."

"Wait, you mean Yuu Kanda as is the Yuu Kanda who kill Bolic?." Wisely was staring at them wide eyes now, and at Allen's nod he bursted out laughing while Link merely shook his head.

"Oh man, this is great." Wisely sighed wiping his eyes.

"As I was saying." Allen sent him a pointed look.
"This is Yuu Kanda. Yes he's a vampire, yes he killed Skin Bolic, who cares.. He's my mate."

The two stared once again before Link huffed amusingly, stepping forward to shake Kanda's hand.

"Well, if I'm correct vampires have one mate for life, so Allen is it." He smiled, a small one.
"I'm Howard Link, please call me Link. That maniac over there-."

"Hey!. Rude!."

"-is Wisely, Allen's cousin." He said, ignoring the grumbling form the man besides him.

"Hn, kinda figured that out with the hair." Kanda muttered.
Allen huffed, smacking his arm.

"Not funny, Bakanda."

"Sure love."

"I like this guy already." Wisely laughed, ignoring the hair comment. His eyes then fell on the ring that was on Allen's finger and he made a gurgle like sound.

"Allen, you're engaged!." He choked out, pointing at the ring with a shaking finger.
He sent Kanda a sly look.
"My, my, the Kanda Yuu doesn't waste any time, does he."

Allen groaned at his cousin antics. A small smile on his face.
"Yes, I am.. Wisely.. Did dad tell you anything that's going on?."

"He said that there's gonna be trouble. Not sure what he meant." Link said, hands crossed behind his back.

"Well, it means someone is out to get me and use that against Kanda's family." He said quietly.
"And by them I mean the Noah's."

Wisely went rigid, shock clear on his face. To hear that the organization that he and Neah escaped were not hunting down their loved one, over his dead body he'll let that happen.

"Tell me everything you know, little cousin."
