He said, honestly and I smiled. For the first time in life. I have seen a man who is enthusiastic in God as much as he is in his life. Every men l ever met was totally different from Mahir. Where was this Idiot all these years!?

Mahir-Wanna go star gazing!?
He asked.

Bela-Celebrities!?
I asked and he nodded in No with a smile.

Mahir-Actual stars!
He said, pulling me up by my wrist after he had stood up.

Mahir-Looks like you didn't leave a single rose in the flower shops of Goa!
He said, smiling as he looked around while l bit the insides of my cheek. True! I literally would have eaten my bodyguards raw for not finding the amount of roses l wanted. Poor them!
He carefully picked a red rose from the bunch of decorations. His piercing gaze settled on me as he tucked it gently over the lobe of my right ear while l looked down, biting my lower lip turning crimson red.

Mahir-Let's Go!
He said, offering me his hand. I smiled, intervening our hands. It felt serene to hold hands after all the ups and downs we faced. After all the rejections, all the pushing. We both finally are together today!
We walked slowly by the beach with the breeze tickling our faces and the waves happily hitting the shore every now and then.
We stopped by a Cabana among the tropical trees. He sat on the comfortable mattress patting the empty space beside him. I took the space beside him but both of us ended up being silent for five minutes straight which was making me nervous as well as pissed! Is he compromising himself just because l approached him!? He is generous but then l don't want us to have a meaningless relationship.
I sighed, standing up. He snapped his head towards me while l knelt before him on the sand.

Bela-Are you compromising yourself Mahir!?
I asked calmly, as l took his hands in mine. He nodded in No, looking down and l sighed relieved.

Bela-Then why are you eating me up with your silence!?
I asked and he glanced at me, momentarily.

Mahir-It... It's just that l feel insecure that you loved Vicky for seven years of your life..... And you being in a relationship with me now... There can be times when you can feel uncomfortable when Vicky shows up being my best friend.
He said, honestly looking into my eyes and l smiled, holding his neck. He was thinking about me! He was thinking about our future but that doesn't mean he has to put himself through hell to make me feel fine.

Bela-Don't be!! Coz the rest of the men race who drool over me are gonna be insecure on you as you are gonna love me for the rest of my life.... And about Vikram! It was me who got his signals wrong!
I said and he chuckled pulling me onto his right thigh while my legs were in between his outstretched legs. I was shocked by his gesture but still smiled as he rested his forehead over mine. I closed my eyes as l felt his hands encircling my waist, pulling me closer to him. Our chests pressed onto each other's. Our lips inches away while the proximity was making it hard for me to concentrate.
The trees shook excitedly while our breaths calmly fanned over each other. Does everyone feel like a fairytale like me or am l a psycho!?

Mahir-May l!?
He asked while my lips parted as he caressed my lower lip. I felt a whole bunch of butterflies in that small tummy of mine.
I nodded and the very next second his lips sealed mine for that longing union of ours.
He gently, moved his lips against mine while my hands went through his hair and the other clutched his neck. I responded back, sucking his lower lip while his hands wandered around my waist. He fell on the cabana along with me and l gasped while he simply deepened the kiss as our lips moved in a sync. After all.... This was his nine years of longing for me.
The night sky witnessed our passion for each other while we kissed under the gaze of the stars and the moon peeking through the dark clouds.
It indeed felt beautiful to be loved.
