Excuse me?
Admiral, shockingly, sent a distress call. Crepe volunteered to go. He quickly found out what took so long. She had to first help a Wailord and Sven before getting to the temple. Then from there, it was mayhem. She luckily didn't have to argue with a moron about a stupid, yet dangerous mistake or chase a Hippowdon to get inside cause someone destroyed the path in. Then the traps in there were life threatening. He almost got killed if the Mime Jr. that Dijon said wanted to join him from the Cargo Ship mission didn't get him out of the way. He was able to get to the end with major struggle. He collapsed at the entrance of the gem's cave as Seafoam's voice came through the voicemail.
"Crepe?"
"Hey Seafoam..." He whispered. Mime Jr. held his Styler up to his face.
"Are you ok?"
"Yes..." His throat was dry, but he got that out. "I already checked myself for injuries. I'm glad Dijon helped me and Mime Jr. connect because it is truly a lifesaver right now." It smiled as she sighed.
"Have you met up with Admiral yet?"
"No... but I also have one more place to check for her. She might also be hiding somewhere if someone tried to attack or something like that. There's endless possibilities." Seafoam gulped. "Crepe out." He clipped his styler on his arm again and stood up. He went inside with a dry gulp.

What followed was interesting. After gaining the Yellow Gem, he was greeted by some jerk named Heath who had Admiral tied up. She was passed out with sheer pain written across her face. A Rampardos held her by a small rope around her ankles as she mumbled something. Crepe shuddered as he shifted his stance.
"Look at that! You came! The famous ranger of the Almia Sector!"
Famous? What, did the others not gain the same fame? That sucked. He raised an eyebrow as he kept the gem behind him. Heath smiled.
"Look what you got... the Yellow Gem! I'll make you a deal... Gem for the Ranger." Crepe frowned.
"How about no?"
He wouldn't be joking. Admiral was an annoying little jerk that he would have cared less about if she didn't sound desperate, if that was her at all. Not only that, but she gave him bad vibes and memories he really didn't need. He didn't need to get her back, but he felt something wrong.
"Aw... don't you care about your ranger friend? I can see why. After all, she is truly pathetic without help." He hit the area where her arm was and she cried out in pain. The scream made Crepe panic. What had she gone through? She whimpered quietly as he grinned. No wasn't an option, whether Heath said so or not. He moved his arm to hit her again when Crepe stopped him.
"Wait! It's a deal!" He knew he was making a mistake, but that scream made him rethink his choice. Heath smiled.
"I knew you would think things through..." He took Admiral from the Rampardos and held out a hand. "Gem first. I don't want you to have struggles." He tossed up the Yellow Gem and Heath caught it before tossing Admiral down. Crepe, with Mime Jr.'s help, caught her before anything hit the ground. "Oh... but because I'm that cruel, have fun with this." Electricity filled the air as a Magnetzone came from behind him. The Helicopter left as Crepe placed Admiral down and charged at the electric type.

Crepe was out of breath as he got back over to Admiral. She was waking up as he knelt down and worked on the ropes.
"C-crepe?" He smiled faintly at her as he undid the ropes.
"Are you ok-" He froze as he got the ropes off her. Her arms were almost destroyed. She gulped.
"That wasn't one mission... that was from day one of Top Ranger..." Her words faded as she drifted off. He pulled out his first aid kit and shifted her position.
"Why didn't you get this looked at?" She looked at him as he worked on getting her arms fixed up.
"One is because my condition got worse when I showed the other mechanics and medics. Their treatment either made it worse or was destroyed during a quest or something. Two is because I didn't know what else to do... nothing was working..." She hummed at his work. "You're really good at this." He gulped. He didn't want to admit it, but between fixing up him and his sister after their parents' damage, time with the mechanics and medics and Ice's injuries before he changed, he had become a pro.
"T-thanks..." He quickly finished one arm and got to the other. "Is this why you use your legs?" She nodded.
"I asked some of the mechanics if they could make something for me since my arms were unable to work. I've used my legs since, not trying to fix my arms for even minor tasks..." He hummed as he finished. He huffed lightly as he rubbed his forehead. "Are you ok?" He nodded as Mime Jr. shook its own.
"Yeah..." He scanned his body for any new injuries. He had already patched up his forearm and shoulder. His head was hurting and throat was dry. Any other injuries were internal. Great. "I just-" She coughed lightly, gaining his attention.
"You're thirsty, aren't you? I see no water bottle with you." He laughed nervously.
"I forgot to grab one..." She smiled lightly.
"I have a spare on my belt, left side. You can have it."
"But-"
"Crepe, no one can go without water in this place. I can hear your throat crying out for it. Take the water bottle." He sighed, knowing this was a pointless battle. He reached over and took the water bottle. His throat relaxed as the surprisingly cold liquid washed the dryness out. He smiled as he quietly thanked her. She smiled before the sound of feet running came.
"Guys!" They turned to see Dijon running over. He took a moment to take a breath before going over. His water bottle was practically empty as he went. Crepe wasn't too concerned about him. He had his Buizel beside him, indicating that he was able to get water quickly. "Are you two ok?" Admiral nodded as she sat up.
"I am now. What are you doing here?" He huffed as he straightened up.
"Seafoam tried to send you guys messages, but your signals were weak. She sent me so that she could get a stronger signal. But I can see how the signals are weak. You guys are almost in a basement." Crepe gulped as he helped Admiral to her feet. Dijon tried to help, but with her arms in their condition, he got kicked as she hissed.
"Ow!"
"Sorry!" He yelped quickly as he gripped his shin. Crepe sighed.
"Admiral, he didn't mean it. It's not easy when he wasn't here to know what you did." She huffed as she pulled away. At least silence followed. Dijon sent a voicemail to Seafoam and it went through with ease.
"Is everyone ok!?" Admiral smiled.
"We're all alive. Let's start there." Crepe smiled as small black dots danced in his vision. He leaned against Dijon as the operator frowned through the screen.
"Admiral, you look like you went through war. What happened?" Admiral let out a nervous laugh.
"I was unconscious for a good portion of it. I just remember pulling out to rest after getting my butt kicked by the guardian and then waking up to Crepe untying me. I don't even know what I missed." Crepe huffed lightly.
"Seafoam, I'll give you the details once we get back, ok? I wasn't here for all of it, but I have my thoughts." Seafoam hummed.
"Be careful." They nodded before Dijon ended it and picked Crepe up. The brunette hummed softly as he drifted off.

He was able to give the potential full story after they got back. They were dismissed shortly after.
He felt well rested during the flight. Shockingly, the duo didn't fight on the way there. Maybe it was to avoid waking him up. He was able to relax against a wall as he took a deep breath.
He wasn't really labeled a Top Ranger. Erma, the chairperson, kept calling him a Top Unit. But he lacked the gear. He had already seen Dijon get fitted for his Top Ranger uniform. Admiral looked great in hers, he just didn't admit it. But with what he did, it worked out for her. He added a small area on the back of her uniform for her arms so that they weren't swinging out into danger or in the way of anything. She was full of smiles after that as she thanked him. Of course, she tried to wrap an arm around him only to damage herself more. He scolded her for it, but it felt great to be able to do it.
He was in his room, wondering about his place. He was sent out on Ranger Missions, he worked well with the Mechanics and their work, he was taking care of the other Rangers like a Medic, and he was constantly sending messages and bossing the others around like an Operator. Yet, he was treated like some kid that couldn't handle himself or was always getting hurt or something. What was he supposed to be?
He sighed as he decided to sleep it off.

They then had to guard the Ranger Union while Wendy and Sven tried to reach the Dark Crystal up on the Altru Tower. The Ranger Union was attacked by the Sinis Trio, which really didn't surprise Crepe. Dijon took the first floor against Heath, since Admiral had a panic attack about it and stayed with the operators.
Crepe took the second floor, where Ice tried to regain Isaac. He tried to get some sense into Ice about his old life without giving away the fact that they were technically partners in crime. Ice didn't seem to catch on as he was more focused on getting Isaac back. Lavana, who was the third member, didn't even consider kindness and used Isaac's younger sister as leverage. Dijon hissed at the hotheaded female as a huge argument stopped the both operations. It took the four of them (Isaac, Melody, Ice and Crepe) to finally get them to separate and back to the task at hand.
(No fourth walls were broken at this time)
Sadly, Lavana got away with the siblings while Ice attacked Crepe. It took him two minutes to clean up before a scream pulled them to the last floor.
"A little help!?" Marcus's voice cut through the air as the two boys got upstairs to see Admiral thrown across the room. She winced in pain as the crowd of Bidoof neared her. They quickly took back the battle and kicked Wheeler, the person behind the final push, out. Crepe went over to Admiral. The bandages he had applied were still holding as she quivered in pain. He helped her up and to a chair to check her wounds. The two boys were thanked for their help before the next problem showed itself.
The tower had put up defenses and was already giving off a bad aura. They were out of options and cards. Crepe growled as he changed out Admiral's bandages. While he knew Ice was in there, this was the last straw. He wasn't going to let them crash now.
