That's it, I am done with the exam!

Feeling extremely pleased with myself, I turned from my seat to look at the invigilator. A warm lady, in her mid forties, came sprinting to my seat.

"Are you okay, my child?", she asked.

"Oh, yes yes, I am done with my exam. May I leave?", I asked her humbly.

"Yes dear. Please sign here, as an acknowledgement that you have submitted the answer sheet."

"Sure", I nodded and signed.

I then, slowly stood up and made my way to the entrance. My handsome, heart throbbing, sexy husband stood at a corner, nervously whispering prayers in favour of me.

How lucky was I to even get him as my soulmate!

He had his life-deciding exam tomorrow and yet he was here just awaiting my presence safely out of the exam hall.

"Raj ji?", I called out!

He sharply turned towards my side and ran towards my direction.

"Pavi, are you okay? You came out half an hour before the actual exam could get over! How was it? Are you feeling comfortable?"

"Ji, relax!", I calmed him down. We sat in the nearest shady bench and I looked at his worried face.

"I am doing okay!

God's grace, my exam went well. I think the rest is left to whatever plans he has made for us, right?"

He relaxed after listening to my words.

"Do you want something to eat?"

"Yes, Babaji has chopped some fruits right, I think that would do!"

"Hmm, what about lunch?"

"Raj ji, I would want to eat with Ma ji. Is that okay with you? Let's go home. Also, you have to prepare for your exams!"

"Look at you all worried about me! Is that your hobby now?"

"No, but I really like to worry about you."

"Well, that's good to hear. Let's go home then?"

Munching through a mouth full of apple pieces, I nodded childishly. My husband gently caressed my face.

"I am so proud of you baby...you have been nothing but amazing!"

I swallowed the apple and grinned at him.

"I am awesome because of you, okay? You are like the best!", I told him dreamily.

He laughed and said, "Look at you, all child-like and happy-"

"And don't forget worried about you and love you.", I interrupted his sentence.

"God, this woman is awesome!", he mumbled under his breath as he turned towards the other side and fixed his hair as the breeze messed it all up.

I chuckled as a taxi guy approached us requesting whether Raj ji and I would like to take the ride.

After bargaining a reasonable rate, we boarded.

The driver started playing romantic songs as it filled my heart with love beyond explanations.

I hummed along the complete song leaning on Raj ji shoulder as I let the afternoon breeze encompass me.

We reached home as Ma ji eagerly waited for our arrival. She was so happy that I chose to come back to have lunch with her and I insisted on her feeding me!

Love was certainly in the air.

While Rekha, Ma ji and me engaged ourselves into a women-centric conversation, Raj ji humbly took his leave to make his final preparations for his exams. Even though Ma and Rekha were our spectators, I gave him a small pat on the cheek as a sign of good luck and he winked at me, to the room.

Well, at some point, every typical bride gets used to it!

The chat was so entertaining filled with laughter and stories from Raj Ji's and Rekha's childhood that I didn't realise how the afternoon slipped into evening and evening to night.

I had realised I didn't move from one spot in the living room for hours together!

I slowly tried to stand up and walk towards my bedroom. Raj ji looked engrossed in his preparations. I reached towards him as he shifted his gaze from the books towards me. His eyes immediately went towards the door.

I had closed it!

He stood up from the bed and palmed his hands on my face.

"You did so great today, you know?"

"Mm-hmm", I hummed in delight.

"God woman, you have an intoxicating effect on me!", he said in a husky voice and jumped to reached my lips.

He showered kisses on my eyes nose, forehead, cheeks, lips, ears, neck and, involuntarily I let out a moan.

I realised where this would go and took a step back.

He looked surprised!

"Pavi, you don't-?"

"Oh-no no no, Raj ji, I more than want to, baby!

You are, God, what do I say!

But, you have exam tomorrow and you've got to study. I mean, that's really more important."

He analysed every word of mine in silence.

"It's so hard for me to keep my hands off you, baby! I can assure you that!", I added that real quick.

He chuckled!

I mean, yeah!

"Can't keep your hands off me huh?"

I stood there in embarrassment.

"Like even now?", he continued his teasing while he slowly started unbuttoning his t-shirt.

"Do whatever you want, no sex until you are done with your exams!", I said with authority.

He smiled and took his t shirt off and stood there with just his pajama pants. I bent to take his books and handed it over to him.

I smirked back.

Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain at lower portion of my tummy and back. My pants felt a bit wet and then, too wet. The world started to spin and even before I could realise what had happened, Raj ji called out to Ma ji and Rekha.

I gently looked down, amidst the pain.

My water broke.
