5 Years Later- Author's POV:

Pavithra waited patiently in her lobby examining the case of her first surgery. As she wore her surgical suit, she glanced at her shelf. There were a lot of photo frames.

-Her childhood photo with her sisters
-Her wedding photo
-A photoshoot with Dev as a small kid
-A Shukla family photo which includes Ma ji, Babaji and Rekha
-Manish and Sindhu's Wedding photo
-Raj Ji's graduation picture
-Dev graduating kindergarten
-Rekha and Sushanth's wedding
-Her MBBS and MS graduation photos

From a traumatized childhood to a successful doctor, Pavithra had truly grown. She was a little girl, when she married Rajeev, and knew nothing about marriage, handling a family and being soulfully responsible. Her own parents had given up on her. Her in-laws treated her the way they knew how to treat a daughter in law. It is only through the weapon of love that she oarred through all of this.

She won the heart of her husband and that was the starting of her success. She evolved from a housewife to running a business to being a mother while being a student and now she still had the stethoscope hung around her neck that her husband had first gifted her. Her eyes moistened as a flashback of her life was replayed in her mind.

She did it. She tasted the heights of success and yet stayed humble as a Typical Indian Bride.

A smile floated on her lips.

She heard a gentle knock on her door.

She said, "Come in."

To her surprise, it was her husband.

"Raj ji, it's you!"

"Yes, how can I miss this moment?"

"I love you-"

"Oh, me too baby! You are going to rock this!"

"Thanks-", as she let her emotions flow in her husband's hug.

He gently kissed her lips and relieved her.

A nurse then knocked the door.

"Yes-?"

"Dr. Shukla, we are ready for you-"

"Okay!"

And thus walked the strong hearted, highly spirited, flushingly loved Indian Bride, with her head held up high to perform her first operation.
