Author's POV.
On the banks of River Ganga stood a beautiful lady who looked around the age of 16 or 17.

She had beautiful long jet back hair, dark brown eyes and a beautiful yet curious smile playing on her lips. It was non other that Rajkumari Kunti. Rishi Durvasa gave a boon to Rajkumari Kunti.

Being a curious teenage she decided to use the mantra, she chanted the mantra and called suryadev. As expected suryadev appeared and said.....
Suryadev : open your eyes kunti. Rishi Durvasa warned you right, then why did you used the boon before your marriage?

Kunti : pranam suryadev, I just wanted to test the boon. I don't need a child right now, you may leave.

Suryadev : how dare you? I am bounded by the mantra so I have to give you a Devine child.

He gave her a Devine child and disappeared. Kunti held the baby tightly and cried her heart out. Just as she was crying her maid/friend came there and was shocked to see her princess kunti holding a baby.....

Priyamvada : Rajkumari, who is the child and why are you crying?

Kunti : he is my son, Karn.

Priyamvada was shocked would be an understatement, she asked kunti to explain the situation. Kunti did as told and stared crying even harder....

Priyamvada : Kumari, to save your father's reputation, you have to abandon this child.

Kunti : what are you saying Priya? He is just an innocent child.

Priyamvada : he is not a innocent child but a sin.

Hearing this Suryadev because very angry and increase his rays and appeared in front of them very angry and said....

Suryadev : kunti how dare you say my son is your mistake. I curse you that if you ever use this boon again, your children would not have any quality of god instead they would be aggressive, arrogant and greedy. And you Priyamvada how dare you call a pure child a sin, I curse you that even if you get married you will never become a mother.

With the curse Suryadev left from there leaving both kunti and Priyamvada crying. Kunti was drowning in guilt thinking that she even got Priyamvada involved and cursed along with her.

After they were done crying Kunti was still guilty but Priyamvada on the other hand was furious at Karn thinking because of him she will remain childless through her life.

At the end they together decided that they will flow Karn in the Ganga river. Kunti prepared a beautiful basket with flowers and put Karn inside it. She gazed one last time at Karn and flowed him.

As the child was flowing suddenly Suryadev appears again to give a bigger curse but as he was about to curse kunti fell on his feet and in a shaking voice said....

Kunti : please Suryadev try to understand my point of view. I never wanted to leave my child but the consequences were so. And also you punished my innocence to-be children too. And Priyamvada she was just trying to help her friend. She holds no fault.

Suryadev : you are right kunti, I can't take back the curse that I gave to you. All your children would be aggressive, arrogant and greedy but your youngest son will be different he will have quality of gods and will always be supportive of Dharama. And Priyamvada yes you will have a child but you won't carry him/her in you womb.

Kunti and Priyamvada were happy as they got their curse lessened. Suryadev went back to suryalok and instructed Devi Ganga to take his son to worthy parents .

Devi Ganga took him were Adhirath and Radha prayed and her heart melted seeing the beautiful child sleeping on her lap and blessed him that no evil and impurities will ever touch him.

With that she left him. A couple who were praying near the river saw the child and immediately took his out of the river.

The Sut couple was non other than Adhirath and Radha Adhirath and Radha found him and took him home happily accepting him as their own son and named him Vasusena.
