Chapter Nineteen

"I swear if you've harmed her-" Jungkook started when the barrier dropped. I laughed quietly.

"I let him drink from me. Calm down Kookie." I smiled brightly. Hoseok ran over and held his hands over the bite mark on my neck.

"Here, I'll heal you. Namjoon and Jin are struggling." He laughed and closed his eyes.

"Thank you." I smiled at him. I stretched out my bones clicking.

"Is it..." Jungkook asked looking outside.

I stood still letting calm wash over me. I nodded and held my wrists out.

"What's going on?" Jin asked his eyes on us.

"Every solstice Eonnie's powers get out of hand." Jungkook spoke and tied rope tightly around my wrists. "So we got a basement made for her. Yeong Mi will be down soon to keep an eye on her."

I rummaged through a drawer awkwardly and pulled out the soft material we used to blindfold me. I let a soft breathe escape my lips.

"Kookie, can I still have my phone to listen to music with?" I asked quietly.

"We'll find that out once we get down there." He spoke lowly. "Remember follow my voice."

--

I had been sat on the floor of the basement for a while now.

I was a disgrace. I was the first Jeon witch to have to be locked away on a solstice. Usually we spend our times making potions or healing medicine as our powers are magnified.

Maybe I'm just a monster.

I felt tears start to dampen the blindfold and I pulled my knees to my chest.

"Eon Jeong, are you okay?" I heard Jimin. I turned to him blindly and nodded, forcing a smile to my face.

"Jimin, leave. I don't want to hurt you." I whispered.

"I thought you would be lonely, so I asked Yeong Mi if I could come keep you company." He spoke quietly.

"Are you stupid?" I raised my voice and felt the power surge through me.

I felt two arms wrap around me gently. His hand rubbing my back.

"Maybe I am, but I don't want you to be all alone." He whispered pressing his lips to my forehead.

--

I had been asleep for god knows how long with Jimin's arms wrapped around me.

"The solstice is over." He whispered quietly. I longed to see again. I reached up for his face and smiled pressing a kiss to his forehead.

"Thank you... Thank you for staying." I let a smile creep onto my lips.

"Eonnie, have you made a mess down there?" Jungkook shouted down the stairs as he walked down them. I know for a fact my powers weren't used at all, which was something new, so it shouldn't be a mess.

I got up off Jimin and stretched out the best I could.

"What are you doing down here Jimin?" Jungkook asked.

"Yeong Mi said I could keep her company." Jimin spoke.

"It's not messy and he's not injured..." Jungkook whispered. I heard footsteps and I sighed.

Was he leaving me here?

I felt a hand grab mine and I jumped before I heard Jungkook chuckle.

"It's me, I'm just untying you." He spoke softly into my ear. I nodded and felt the blindfold and the ropes drop. I blinked a few times and stretched out. "There you go."

"Are you serious?" I heard Yeong Mi.

"I'm serious, look!" Jungkook muttered. The two came into the basement and looked around. Yeong Mi looked between Jimin and I before smirking.

"Eonnie I need to speak to you later okay?" She asked. I nodded and smiled at her. "You can come back upstairs now. It's herbal day though isn't it?"

"Yeah, I'm running low on everything." I smiled. "You?"

"Yeah. Eomma wants me to pick some stuff up." She smiled.

"Does that mean you two are going out later?" Jungkook asked. Frowning slightly. "We haven't spent time together in ages..."

"You can always come with us. We can prepare a picnic for us all and go?" I suggested. Yeong Mi smiled.

"That's a good idea!" She grinned. "Make sure to bring your swimming costumes!"

"Why swimming costumes?" Jimin asked.

I smirked. "You'll see."

--

I finished packing things before making my way to the garden. Everyone was waiting.

"Yeong Mi, are you ready?" I asked. She nodded and we dropped to our knees on the floor.

"God of the wind. Please hear our call. Lend us your power of teleportation. Lend us the key to dimensions." Yeong Mi and I spoke. A gold ring formed around us and the boys.

We arrived in the new dimension. The boys looking around with wide eyes.

"It's so calm and peaceful..." Hoseok spoke.

"So this is where you two go every year after solstice." Jungkook commented.

"Right, the walk to the site where we can sit and stay is an hour walk away-"

"Where is it?"

"It's about three miles in that direction." I pointed. "There's ravines along the way though."

"Who knows the way better?" Jungkook asked looking between Yeong Mi and myself.

"Eonnie comes here more often." Yeong Mi spoke. "So her."

"You guys know my scent, right?" Jimin asked. The boys nodded and within seconds I was on someone's back. "Direct me there, we can make it there in a quarter of that time at most."

"Here..." I whispered and closed my eyes. I pressed my hands to his temple and envisioned a map into his head. He nodded. I opened my eyes again.

"Just tell me if you need to slow down." He whispered. "Also if you need to breathe, hide your face. It will get difficult."

With that he took off racing through the forest.

--

We made it to the clearing in five minutes at most. I was placed down on the ground and I let out a laugh.

"That was fun." I smiled up at him. He grinned.

The rest of the gang appeared seconds later. We looked apart, blushing slightly.

"Are we picking at night again?" Yeong Mi spoke. I nodded.

"More magical properties at night." I smiled. She nodded. I put my bag on the floor before looking at the wall of greenery. I had always struggled to part it in the past years.

"Are you going to try again this year?" Yeong Mi spoke. I nodded and walked forwards. My dress ruffling around me as the wind blew.

I knelt to the ground and placed my hands on the soft grass.

"What is she doing?" Jungkook spoke.

"Just watch, she's struggled the past few years to do this by herself." Yeong Mi whispered.

I closed my eyes feeling the connection with the earth before I opened my arms slowly.

"God of the divine forest." I whispered. "Show the mystic waters. Lend me your power to reveal that which should be seen."

I watched as the greenery parted slowly. I then saw the lake gleaming in the sunlight. I stood up.

"This is why we said swimming costumes." I smirked looking at Yeong Mi who gave me a big smile and thumbs up. I tugged the dress off slowly and slid out of my shoes so I was in my bikini before I sprinted to the pier into the lake and leaped off it.

I touched the soft bottom and resurfaced. I looked at the shore and saw the boys bright red but Jimin was staring at where I had just once been.

"Jimin!" I called out laughing. "Are you okay?" Yeong Mi laughed and stripped off too before running and leaping into the lake. I giggled and one by one the boys jumped into the lake.

--

During the night Yeong Mi and I went picking. We walked along a dark path, watching as certain plants seemed to glow.

"You know what puzzles me?" Yeong Mi spoke quietly as she knelt down and picked some berries. "The fact your powers didn't leak out last night."

"I was thinking the same thing." I spoke as I reached up on my tiptoes to grab some leaves.

"Do you perhaps, have feelings for a certain someone?" Yeong Mi looked up at me.

"Depends, I like everyone my brother is friends with." I shrugged off the immediate thought of Jimin in my head.

"You know what I mean." She spoke.

"Maybe..." I admitted shyly. A blooming death flower glowing in my face. I felt the heat rush to my cheeks and Yeong Mi squealed.

"I'm hooking you two up." She smirked.

"No! It's fine." I inhaled the death flower by accident.

"Shit, Eonnie!" Yeong Mi yelled. I giggled feeling the magic seep through me.

"Yeong Mi." I coo'd giggling. She sighed.

"Go to the camp and go rest. Whatever you do don't go near the boys. I'll collect your usual herbs."

"Okay! Bye Yeong Mi!" I giggled and walked through the forest back to where we were staying. Despite the name of the flower, it had quite the opposite effect. It made the persons emotions magnified for a length of time.

I walked into the cabins and walked past Jimin's room. I paused my heart racing in my chest. I looked at the door before running down the hallway, feeling a blush bright on my cheeks.

"Eonnie, why are you running?" Jungkook asked looking up.

"A-Ah. No reaso-n." I stuttered and ran into my room and pressed my back against the door. I took deep breath and tried calming my heart. When I calmed it slightly I threw myself onto my bed and closed my eyes.

Someone knocked at my door.

"Eon Jeong, can I come in?" I heard Jimin.

"U-Uhm..." I pulled my blanket over my face. "Sure!"

The door opened and shut and I heard footsteps.

"Why are you hiding?" He asked and I felt the bed dip.

"N-No reason." My heart began to pound again. Goddammit Jimin.

"Are you sure?" I felt him near me and I let my eyes widen. I accidentally dropped the blankets and saw him centimetres away from me.

"Jimin..." I trailed off and met his eyes. He came closer and I laid down from my sat up position. "W-What are you doing?"

"Wanna know a secret?" His eyes turned red.

"Okay..." I held eye contact with him.

"My special power is to read others emotions. I know everything you're feeling right now." He breathed his lips near mine.

"Jimin..." I inhaled sharply my blood rushing loud around my body. His lips ghosted against mine gently. My heart raced more.

"Eonnie..." He whispered quietly. "You drove me crazy earlier. You're going to pay..."

--

I woke up the next morning naked and wrapped in a blanket. I held my head as I sat up and the blanket fell from around me.

"Eong Jeong are you awake yet?" Yeong Mi called through the door.

"Y-Yeah come in..." I trailed off as I pulled the blanket up around me. She walked in and her jaw dropped.

"What happened?" Her eyes widened as she slammed the door shut.

"I..." I laughed awkwardly. "Jimin..."

"Really?" Her eyes widened. "If you do that here it means-"

"Shush!" I blushed and hid my face.

"Anyway, get dressed. We're leaving soon." She smirked. "I'll keep this from Kookie."

I sensed her heart race when she said his name.

"You too?" I let my eyes widen. She giggled and walked out.

I walked to the wardrobe and pulled out a cropped top and skirt before grabbing some thigh highs. I pulled them on before sliding on some shoes.

I walked out and got knocked over immediately.

"Sorry!" Taehyung yelled. I hit the floor and groaned.

"It's fine."

--

"Why are you two close all of a sudden?" Hoseok smirked looking at us. I looked up from where I was laying at Hoseok who walked into the living room. Everyone was going on a mission except for Jimin and I since I was making some herbal remedies to top up the old ones around the house.

"Listen, he's comfy." I laughed reading the book as Jimin's eyes were glued to the screen, his hands playing with my hair.

"Well we're leaving then." He smiled before the rest of the boys yelled a bye. I smiled.

"See you all later!" I called.

The house was silent again.

"Just let me know when you're wanting to get up and do your stuff." Jimin broke the silence. I smiled slightly and nodded.

"I'm just gonna finish this page and I'll get ready." I spoke. "Do you... do you want to help out?"

"Isn't it sacred for witches to do their stuff alone?" He asked.

"Not all the time." I laughed quietly and read my book. "You can help grind the herbs and such, I'll obviously do the spells."

"Sure!"

--

His hands steadied my hips as I reached up and put the concoction up on the doorframe. I smiled and he put me down gently.

"About last night... was everything that happened real? It wasn't made by the flower?" He asked quietly. I shook my head feeling the blush rise.

"The flower..." I trailed off clearing my throat. "The flower only magnifies ones feelings. Brings them to the surface."

"Can I see the flower?" He asked quietly. I nodded and took his hand leading him to my room. I sat him on the bed before pulling out a jar from behind some books and held it gently.

"It's got a lid on, so it's magical powers can't affect anyone." I spoke quietly. Jimin's eyes looked at the flower.

"It's so pretty..." he whispered. I nodded smiling. "What do you use it for?"

"It has healing properties." I spoke quietly. "For example." I grabbed a jar of the ground death flower and some other berries and lifted my shirt slightly to show the dark fingerprint like bruises he left on my hips and I rubbed the ointment on them.

"W-Wait I did that to you?" He asked his eyes wide.

"It's completely fine." I smiled and watched as the ointment sank in and the bruises faded until they were barely noticeable.

"Are you sure?" He asked. I nodded and pressed a kiss to his forehead.

"I'm sure Jimin." He grinned wide at me. I smiled and he kissed my cheek in return.

"Hyung! Eonnie! We're back!" I heard Jungkook yell. I stood up and walked downstairs to see the boys all beat up and bleeding. My eyes widened.

"W-What happened?"

"His pack got to us before we got to them. We aren't allowed to attack again or we'll be dead." Taehyung spoke.

"Werewolves?" I asked my eyes wide. "You know their bites can be fatal to vampires!"

"Hoseok, heal Taehyung for me." I spoke. He nodded and I ran up the stairs and grabbed some of the healing mixture I had seconds ago. I jumped from the last few stairs and caught Jungkook as his legs wobbled underneath him.

"Jimin!" I yelled. He appeared beside me.

"Get Namjoon and Jin up to the guest room. Their clothes except for their underwear need to be stripped right off." I spoke hurriedly. Jimin nodded and I pulled Jungkook upstairs to his room and cut his clothes off. Right through his chest was a deep scratch wound.

"I heard the boys were injured." Yeong Mi appeared beside me. I jumped slightly.

"Namjoon and Jin are in the guest room. The death flower concoction is in my room in tiny jars." I spoke. "Heal at least one. I'll be there soon."

--

I tucked my brother in once I got him stable. Hoseok and Taehyung offered to stay with him whilst I helped Yeong Mi treat Namjoon and Jin.

I saw her working on Namjoon. So I walked to Jin who kept trying to sit up. I saw several bite marks on his arms and legs. Bleeding profusely.

"Is he okay? Is Jungkook okay?" Jin stuttered. I nodded.

"He's stable. Don't worry Jin." I spoke smoothing his hair out before applying the paste and such to him. His eyes widened in pain.

"Will the rest of the boys be alright?"

"Yeong Mi and I are doing everything we can." I whispered quietly and finished rubbing him down with the oil.

--

"Where are you going?" Jimin asked sitting up from his place on the floor where he slept.

"I'm going out." I spoke quietly as I stood by the bedroom door.

"Can I come with you?" He asked. I shook my head.

"You can't, I'm sorry." I whispered quietly.

"Eon... you're not going to the werewolves are you?" I kept quiet. "Eong Jeong don't you dare go alone!"

"Jimin..." I walked over and knelt beside him. "You know I can take care of them. Don't worry."

"Let me come too... my hyungs and Jungkook were hurt." He whispered. "They need to pay for hurting them. Please Eon Jeong..."

"I'm sending you straight home if anything happens." I whispered quietly.

--

"You smell like those we sent home beaten and bruised." One of the males smirked. "This time it's a girl. How cute."

"Leave her alone." Jimin hissed protectively from beside me.

"I'm here to complete their mission. I will do it singlehandedly if need be." I growled at the men forming around us. "Werewolves or not. I'm the Jeon Witch. I can easily defeat you all."

--

Jimin dodged the attack narrowly. The alpha male. The pack of wolves have been murdering other supernatural beings. I breathed heavily tired from fighting the rest of the wolves off.

"Jimin!" I cried out seeing him being flung across the forest as if he was a rag doll. Blood was pouring from his chest. Even I could smell it. I ran over the Alpha wolf trained his eyes on me.

I dropped to my knees besides the vampire.

"Eong Jeong..." Jimin smiled sleepily leaning up and caressing my cheek.

"Don't close your eyes. Whatever you do." I spoke, my voice waving. Tears threatening to fall. I placed my hands on his chest where the wound was.

"Eong Jeong... just get out of here." He croaked quietly. "Don't risk your life for me..."

"Jimin. What we did in the divine forest..." I trailed off. "That's how witches seal a bond with another being." I heard a growl behind me and I closed my eyes.

"Eong Jeong just run." He let pained tears fall.

"I don't run. Not when I have someone to protect." I whispered. "Healing magic, heal."

"Duck!" Jimin yelled with all his strength left. I ducked and I felt the paw of the alpha fly above my head.

Everybody knows the only way to kill a werewolf is a silver metal, preferably a bullet or to have the same traits. I didn't have the first one. But the second one I could do.

"Goddess Athena, lend me your power to end this savage." I spoke. "Lend me the power I need."

"What are you doing?" Jimin asked.

"The only way to kill an alpha werewolf is silver metal or to be a werewolf." I spoke smiling. "You'll be safe here."

I turned still crouched on the ground and growled warningly at the alpha. I stood up. With each step I took each part of me changed.

My nails changed into sharp claws. Each tooth in my mouth changed to the same teeth a wolf would have. My sight improved. My sense of smell improved. I felt a tail hit my legs and my hearing improved.

However I was still in human form.

The alpha let a growl rip from his throat. In return I let a growl pass my lips. I narrowed my eyes in determination.

"You want the vampire don't you?" I teased holding the alphas eyes. The sign of a challenge. The wolf perked up. "you can have him. But you have to get through me first."

--

I woke up in my own bed in someone's arms.

"Eong Jeong you're awake!" Jimin whispered in my ear. "I was worried."

"I just used a lot of power." I smiled softly and wrapped my arms around his neck. He rubbed my back gently.

"When we're both free next..." he trailed off. "W-Would you possibly want to go on a date?"

"Sure." I kissed his cheek softly. He smiled and took my hands from my back and cupped my face kissing softly.

"I look forward to it."

--

I stretched out. It had been a week and everyone was healed and back at their own homes.

"Eong Jeong!" Jungkook yelled from downstairs. "I'm going out later okay! Don't go out whilst I'm not here!"

"Okay! Have a fun time." I yelled back. I knew he was going on a date with Yeong Mi.

"I'll be back later! Don't wait up!" He yelled and the door shut. I sat in my room studying random potions and such.

My phone started ringing. I sighed and reached across the desk and picked it up.

"Hello, who's speaking?" I spoke as I held it to my ear.

"Miss Mia. I have another mission for you." She spoke.

"What is it?" I asked.

"There's a drug dealer in town." She spoke. "We thought you could take him down?"

"Where is it and what time?" I asked.

"In an hour at the night club near the grand hotel." She spoke.

"Sure. What does this guy look like?"

"I hate to break it to you. But it's Taehyung." Her voice dropped to a lower pitch.
