Hey Im back

Bella jumped to her feet, knocking over her chair. People in the restaurant looked at her repulsively. She looked at me worried while I picked up the chair. Then I lead her to the door and out to the car.

"Charlie's missing?" She cried in a very high voice.

"Calm down, Bella. We'll find him," I told her softly.

"What could have happened to him?" she asked.

I drove back to my house. With Charlie missing, I didn't want to leave her alone. Alice and Jasper were there, not surprisingly. Bella greeted Alice and Jasper with a small worried smile.

"I dont' know what happened. I kept an eye on him just like I do Bella, but I went hunting and then, nothing." Alice said.

I started to answer when my phone rang again. It was the deputy asking to come over to ask questions. I said yes and asked Bella if she was okay with that. She shrugged her shoulders and stared at the wall.

An hour later the deputy rang the doorbell. I went to greet him and lead him up to the living room where Bella still sat staring at the wall. I sat beside Bella and took her hand. The deputy's eyes lingered on our entwined hands for a minute before sitting down too.

"There's been some weird reports coming in the station lately. About peoples pets dead with no blood. Charlie went to someone's apartment to ask them a few questions, but he never made it." He said.

"So, he was picked up between the ride to the apartments." I asked thoughtfully.

The deputy nodded.

"Do you have any leads on who killed the animals?" Alice asked.

"No, not yet."

"Let us know if there's anything we can do to help. And let us know when you get some information on Charlie." I said, getting up.

The deputy nodded and followed me out of the room.

"Carlisle, is Bella and Edward still seeing each other?"

I shook my head, knowing where this was going.

"What about you and Esme?"

I shook my head once more.

"You and Bella?"

Once, I nodded. He smiled and congratulated me, then left.

Okay, I'm back. Sorry it took so long, Its just I'm going back to college and I have a writers block and I am having trouble with medicade. Really sorry. Hopefully 2014 will be better to me. :) Hope you like this.
