Im back!

Classes are over, but I have finals to do until Wednesday, after that I'll try to update every time I get to a fast internet connection because I cant get any fast internet where I live.

Thanks to everyone who wished me luck on classes.

Three weeks passed quickly. Alice kept in regular touch with me because of Charlie. The way she made it sound, he was going to become a vampire, a dangerous one. I didn't know how I was going to tell Bella if she couldn't see her father for a long time, maybe ever again. Also, I was really nervous about my turning half human. It felt odd. Unnatural.

"Carlisle," Bella said, bringing me back to the present.

I looked at her with a warm smile. "Yes, Bella."

"Charlie's not doing good is he? I know every time I bring up the subject you evade me." She was smart.

Deciding not to lie to her, I nodded. "He's acting more like a vampire than a human. Not to mention a very dangerous vampire. I expect when we get back in about an hour, we'll see for ourselves, but please, do what I say."

She looked like she was going to object, but then decided not to by nodding once.

An hour went by, and wen were finally back home. I was scared that perhaps Charlie was so dangerous he was going to try to kill Bella now.

As we walked hand in hand through the front door, I could faintly hear a growl inside. I grew very fearful at that moment. When we walked into the living room together, we both gasped in surprise. Charlie was sitting there, pale white, eyes red, looking frightened and hungry.

He smelled Bella's sent coming in, and being a newborn, he wanted her. I stepped protectively in front of her when he stood up, glaring at Bella. I was no match for a newborn, especially now that I've lost some of my strength, but I was going to protect Bella or die trying.

"Carlilse, what happened to me?" Charlie growled. "I have been asking them for weeks now, but they won't tell me."

"I know, I told them not to tell you because until you showed signs of vampirism permanently, you didn't need to know. However, now, you have to know." I motioned for him to sit back down. He looked angry and confused. His eyes were still on Bella, who had enough sense to not run to her father, and instead grab the back of my shirt as comfort.

"I'll stand." He growled.

"Very well. You, Alice, Jasper, and I are vampires. As is Edward, and the other members of the family. Bella has known about us for about a year now, and she and I are dating." I said smoothly.

Charlie's face was unreadable up until I told him about dating Bella. He became even madder.

"Bella! You're dating a vampire?" he said unbelievably.

"Well, I have a vampire dad, why not?" She said bravely.

Charlie growled. "We're leaving!"

"No you're not. You are a newborn, new to vampirism. You will not be able to leave this house for a long time, out there, the sent of blood will make you want to feed on whoever you see." I told him.

Charlie looked as if he wanted to protest, but he knew that I was right.

"Bella and I will leave the house until you get better control. I'm sorry Charlie, but I will not risk Bella. We will stay at your house." I told him. "Alice will  you go pack for Bella?"

In the corner of the room, Alice nodded happily and skipped upstairs. I knew Charlie didn't like it, but Bella was the only human in the room, and Charlie was a dangerous newborn. I wasn't going to risk her. I loved her.
