Chapter 16

Hey, Im back.

How was your break?

Got to bed late on sunday around 3 am or after cuz of storms.

Anyway, I hope you all slept well, thanks for commenting, and here you go:

~~~~~~~~~~
The next morning I felt odd. It's hard to describe. It was weird for me to sleep after 300 years, but it felt refreshing too. I think I actually forgot what sleep felt like. Other than that, I felt hungry, like I needed not blood, but real food. My skin felt a little warmer and not rock solid. I started to the bathroom to check out my reflection. In a flash, I was there.
I was getting faster, and loosing all the things about vampirism that I hated. I checked my wrist to see if I had a pulse. No beat. I don't know if I was happy or sad about that. If I had a pulse, then that would mean I would be aging again, and I wasn't sure if I wanted to age yet. I know I wanted to be with Bella forever.
Alice had texted me late last night, and I was so tired, I just turned off my phone. So, I got out my phone and read the message, being careful not to wake Bella.
Charlie is very dangerous when he is a vampire. And what do we tell him? Because he is asking all the time. And how is it in London? And don’t worry, everything will fix itself with you soon. J  Love Alice.
I didn’t know what to write back. I was happy that everything was going to be okay with me, but also concerned for Charlie. If he wasn’t going to become a vampire, then he didn’t need to know about us, but if he was then he would need to be. I tried to text Alice, but my fingers were moving faster than my eyes could see. I would have to work on that.
I still could smell Bella’s sweet sent, which pleased me. I didn’t want to lose that.
“Carlisle,” Bella said. I didn’t hear her get up.
“Hey Bella,” I greeted, meaning to kiss her, but missed. “My speed is increasing. I have to watch out for that.”
“Your skin feels warmer and softer, too.” Bella observed. “I like it.”
I smiled warmly at her.
“Do you want to go get breakfast?” I asked.
She nodded. “Let me get ready.”
For Bella, it didn’t take that long. I, on the other hand, well, let’s just say I thank Bella for being patient. We went to the café in the hotel, and for the first time in over 3 centuries, I had a normal breakfast. Maybe a little too much. After that, Bella and I went on a tour of the city with a group of my friends, Vampires, of course.
Sorry its so short
Been a little destracted lately with all the storms and classes ending. I’ll have more time in the summer to write.
Also Im having a little writers block.
What do you think?
